Someone would have to pull it from the tar file and make a zip so you could flash it. But, the stock kernel contains no root..........

You can get some idea about it from the link - http://www.igottadroid.com/ModMarket/Listings/dman32851484578.html
Scroll towards the bottom.
Just use PC odin and flash. Will save you the trouble

Using PC Odin is a better way to flash the file .

Can I flash from stock ICS to another stock ICS without any problem using PC Odin? No triangle or binary count? Like from DXLR2 to LRK for example?

Yes you can. As long as it is stock, no triangle or binary count with PC odin.

Second that. The triangle and binary counter increases only when you flash a custom kernel using PC odin

I want to flash Philz' safe kernel based on the stock lsz kernel. In case of warrenty repair i want to flash the original kernel back.
I have a nandroid backup with "boot.img" and i have zimage.zip. But where i can find a flashable zip with the original lsz kernel, so i can flash in with cwm?

Is Philz threating you?? ( "...I can't post in Philz' Threat...") LOL
Yes, kernel can be flashed with PC Odin if you are willing to revert to stock kernel. You can extract zimage from the stock firmware in Dr. Ketan's thread or sammobile.com and flash it as a PDA in Odin.

PC odin wont take a zimage.. it needs a tar file. You need to use mobile odin.. select the zimage in kernel tab.

I prefer to flash the signed Zip from recovery So you will not get the yellow triangle as in odin …
Then you can flash the fixed boot loop zip
flashing with mobile odin wont raise the counter

Will you lose data or root when you flash the stock kernel?
Thank you
No. Just the custom recovery.

[Q] Stock Kernel Downloads

I am sure they are on here somewhere. I have been searching for 20 minutes now. I am looking for the newest stock kernel for my htc one.
3.4.10-gcfc57d3 is the one I am looking for. Can anyone point me in the right direction, all I can find is all the modded kernels. Thanks.
The firmware contains the boot.img, find the right firmware and extract it from the zip.
A stock backup will also contain it.

Thanks, can I just flash this boot.img with twrp or should I zip it and flash? I found the file in the root of the rom, just wondering the proper way to flash it. Thanks.

fastboot flash boot boot.img
Are you sure you just need the boot.img?
I flashed bulletproof kernel and want to put it back to stock kernal. Will that take care of it for me?

Yes. Just pull it from the rom.zip you flashed and use fastboot to flash it.

Stock Kernel?

Is there anyway to extract the stock boot.img for a Note 5 from a firmware file?
Anyone can get the stock kernel by looking through the stock firmware tar file for boot.img with 7-zip. If you don't have the stock firmware for your device, you can download it from sammobile.com.

I had to flash custom kernel for my phone to boot up correctly

Want to go back to Stock.....

Anyway to go back to stock without computer or wiping, I have the 920T stock rom with skyhigh 3.3 kernel.
Are you asking about the stock rom? Kernel? For rom you'll need to flash the stock image from sammobile for your variant
No I have the stock rom I need a non rooted kernel to undo root.

In that case you could extract the boot.img from the stock image downloaded from sammobile or wherever, convert it to .tar and flash it through odin. There is tons of information on how to convert img to tar
