Installation Instructions:
Installing Euphoria-OS for the first time, or coming from another ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working custom recovery
- Copy Gapps Gapps and ROM ZIP to your SDCard
- Boot into Recovery
- DO A DATA WIPE / FACTORY RESET
- Flash Euphoria-OS zip from SDCard

The gapps you link in the op cause issues on the zenfone you also are missing a link to the cm kernel source (guessing your using that based on your github)

Right now, this was tested on Z00A model. You guys could try it on other variants and report back so I can update stuff on OP and also know if it works. I dont own the other variants.

This is the only device where i have seen so many people ask for screenshots, why not just flash the rom and look at, and if your on limited data then why don't you just look at the feature list it does the exact same thing as screenshots

Frankly speaking, I don't own this device. It is a blind build. It was tested by a couple of guys named @Niropa (the AOSPAL maintainer) and his friend. You could also refer to other devices' Euphoria ROM. Its gonna have the same features and UI. Would not be much of a difference. @deadman96385 i will get back to you on the issue you PM'ed me and also thanks
Thanks for building this ROM. I used it on my OPO when it was named Mahdi (KK4.4) and then the name changed when it went to lollipop. Appreciate someone porting this to ZF2.

Since there are several ROMS out there, it doesn't sound unreasonable that you might not want to flash every single one to find out which one pleases your eyes most, not just theme i am talking about.

Well, i cant give u the pleasure bcoz, i dont have the device and I rely on people who are ready to test and report back. We also rely on you people for screenshot. We dont dev for money or business. We do it on a hobby basis. If you really cant spend a 300mb to download and check it out, dont expect us to sync 30gb of source code and spend nights getting the rom just to please your eyes. In no ways offending anyone but no one is being forced to flash this rom. You are here at your own will. I am usually dont get offended, sorry if I am being rude.

Well I am not asking you to please me. I am merely replying to deadman who replied as if it's so weird people are asking for screenshots, and i am saying it is not so weird. Also, it was not clear to me that you did not own the device. Another thing, it's not about the download...but about flashing and flashing and flashing. No, no one is forcing us to flash this ROM, but you are offering it so i don't see it as such a strange thing people ask for some more information. And to reply to people "just flash it", doesn't seem like a cool answer.
Obviously everyone appreciates anyone's work, specially as it's for free, but that was not the point.

Guys I have problem, after clean flash, I did all i need to flash new ROM don't need to ask me about full wipe etc. And camera don't work, also after reboot don't work, that's what I get when try to use It "Cannot connect to the camera". Someone had this problem or know how to solve it? Rom is buttery smooth and fast wanna stay with it
Great ROM, I even bought the Nox icon pack!
Just a few problems, sometimes I get glitches on the stock browser and an App called " Memedroid " they flash the colour black
and the only other one is, Android OS Is really killing the battery, it was up at 70% yesterday, i flashed a custom kernel and i used greenify on most of the apps, its now at 35%
Is this a bug you guys know about and working to fix or am i the only one?

Yeah for that you need to lower your dpi to less than 213 for settings...Then go on tablet mode

Awesome rom, battery life is remarkably good. I've been using my phone to listen to music most of the day and its only down to 68% in 9 hours. So many features to choose from, nice transition animations and I really like the Crimson Mode. Haven't noticed a bug yet, I'll let you know if ever I do. Gonna keep this as my daily driver until android L :thumbup: keep up the good work

Awesome rom, battery life is remarkably good. I've been using my phone to listen to music most of the day and its only down to 68% in 9 hours. So many features to choose from, nice transition animations and I really like the Crimson Mode. Haven't noticed a bug yet, I'll let you know if ever I do. Gonna keep this as my daily driver until android L :thumbup: keep up the good work

"All" is relative to each person. There are some parts that will break with O3 and have to be O2 or Os. Stability over speed. The more that's O3 the more chances that you lose stability. Could there be more added, sure. We'll get there

Disabled and permissive are basically the same. In permissive SeLinux its active and reporting, disabled its not active at all. Right now to the user, its pretty much the same thing

well i saw in Liquidsmooth updates in about phone showing me the 25-02-2015 -LS-LP and LS -KK-Milestone as available updates.
So if u read again the previous post its mentioned > there might be < . not sure if its up and running or not .

another thing @TheBr0ken, may we ask on changing SELinux mode to Permissive?
I tried to install Xposed Lollipop on this rom, but It didnt work, and when I try to change SELinux mode using SELinux Mode Changer on Playstor, it states that SElinux is not exist..

*After a clean flash you may encounter a com.android.phone fc, and mobile data might not work, the solution is to simply reboot
*boot animation isn't displaying properly
*not really a bug with the ROM, but layers manager occasionally FC's upon launch, the solution is to simply relaunch it

Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP go to Mounts & check System then go to the Advanced tab & use the File Manager to delete the bad Layers from system/vendor/overlays, or you can just delete the overlays folder.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?

Bro, in loving this ROM, but I'm actually liking the brokenOS,, not sure why, I just like it. Both ROMs are super fast. One thing, the weather widget doesn't show my location, it's stuck on a preset location 5 miles down the road, no biggie, but a fix would be awesome, thanks for your hard work... Also I was never a big fan of layers, I'd always get some apps would show certain things black on black. I bought the spectrum theme and I'm loving the layer option.

For the weather, i took WeatherProvider.apk and cLock.apk from temasek cm13 just because i knew that one worked installed them in there respective places, then after an art and cache wipe, placed the cLock widget on my homescreen, and boom!!! Found my location!! I noticed yahoo weather has to be selected

Could you upload the two apk's somewhere? I could make a flashable zip that would install them. I'll also see if I can include them in the ROM by default.

But it didn't work..... it did work when I place them where they belong with a Root browser open up the zip and the apps are in their respective folders, place them there manually and it should work I did cache and Dalvik wipe also. You can't click on the clock app directly you have to place the widget on your home screen and adjust the weather settings from there. At least that's how i got it to work

The BrokenOS team doesn't allow any BrokenOS ROM threads to be on XDA, and XDA doesn't want them on it either because of a certain anti XDA wall that's in the ROM. Thanks though, you can also say thanks to the broken team in their Google plus community, we shouldn't discuss broken in this thread though.

I never really use that feature to be honest, if I ever do want weather info I just use Google now. Unless if you're asking about the flashable zip, in which case: I am working on it.
Just seeing if it works on your device as well, i service swimming pools in vegas, it's nice to know when it's 115° in part of the town and then 120°in the other??

As a member of the BrokenOS team I am here to explain to you why @mosimchah can't and won't create a BrokenOS thread.
BrokenOS isn't on XDA for 3 reasons.
1. We like to handle users rougher than XDA will allow.
2. When we allowed unofficial threads on XDA they gave out misinformation about the ROM including but not excluding: ROM base, features, and apps.
3. Due to past issues and politics of XDA we include certain wallpapers which make XDA mods mad, so the ROM is banned until those wallpapers were removed. We refused to remove a part of the ROM to please a select group. This resulted in a ban of BrokenOS, until an annoying drama happen recently with an unofficial device maintainer decided to remove the wallpaper app causing issue with the ROM. So making history, our lead developer, Ken and senior mods made a mutual deal to get out of each other's hair and XDA agreed to remove all official and unofficial threads of BrokenOS so that we as a team would quit pestering them.
BrokenOS now restricts who can build BrokenOS and since @mosimchah is a friend he is allow to post unofficial builds in the broken community and only in the broken community.

A Short answer: "yes", Long answer: "I have no reason not to, each one is an adventure of its own".
Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, go into Advanced, then File Manager and navigate to /data/system/overlays.xml and delete it, this will allow you to boot up without any theme then once booted, go into substratum and use defaults manager, then select back to system theme and this will disable all overlays.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?

I want this thread to be as noob friendly as possible without ruining it for advanced users. This means that you should research questions before asking them, and also search the thread as it may have already been answered. Also, we were all noobs at one point so don't flame others for asking silly questions, I've thought a lot about this lately and I belive that there will be fewer noobs (because they will not be noobs anymore)if they are given answers that don't insult them, and if we explain why what they said was rude or off topic or a silly question, or if they didn't research enough (EX: ETA requests, asking about Xposed, not reading the OP, etc). Anyway, please enjoy the ROM.

Nice ROM! One thing I came across - Once I start SnapChat it won't let me log in.
Any way to get CM ThemeEngine in this ROM ?
I don't like layers...

The amazon app won't let me sign in. I get the notice to change permissions, but then the screen freezes.

Probably not. If the team has decided to use layers it is very unlikely they will change it in this Android version.

You can grant the proper permissions from the app info screen

Yes, I'm planning on building "dirty unicorns", I figured I'd try out a cmte ROM for a change, the nice thing about du is that it's aosp based so it won't have cm specific bugs.

Which Gapps are you using? Does it force close immediately after opening it?
