[PORT][MOD][ROM][JB]XperienceXperia Rom in fih-fb0

Hi friends.
With limited system memory(~250MB) we fih-fb0'ns cannot get the full xperia user experience. thought to port/mod/themed (whatever you call) to our GREAT device. the xperia apps flashable zip available out there are more than the actual rom siZe of fb0 . so with the limitation of system and my limited knowledge with the ROMS i worked out bit and came up with this. This is tested for few days for now i hope you guys like it.
features
* All XPERIA apps included in this ROM (XZ,i1)
* Sony media - wallpaper,ringtone,notifications
* Android JB fonts (i liked the roboto)
* The ROM size is(unzipped) 350MB. yes you heard it right (safe to flash, im using it)
* All most everything is working as it should work in JB Roms.

Download
How to install :
Download ROM from the link
Backup the existing rom (up to you)(safer side)
Put it on SD card
Boot into Recovery
Factory RESET(wipe every thing)
install the ZIP.
its done.
Basic Requirements :
fih-fb0 device
.35.7 kernel
should know how to deal with flashing
patience (MUST)
Notes after installation :
* it takes almost 5 mins for ROM to boot (first boot only) so dont mistake as a boot loop
* after first boot give some time for ROM to work normal
* goto Settings>>Themes>>Xperia Z UI apply the theme to xperience like xperia

movies not working directly but works when you play videos from any file manager

Gaming is Just like any other CM10 Rom. Not for heavy gaming

honestly, I dont know how to symlinking data/honamiz/apk to system/app system/lib system/etc

Yes, you can
It can be flashed over any kk Rom
Just take a ctr backup before flashing

I will do just that

it heats a lot .
just used for some 5 minutes (installing my back up) and it went upto 42 degress and then antutu gave warning .
i have used axer jb/kk , miui , stock jb/kk , clean kat , but none of them heats so much.
the free ram is the best part as with 5 mods + 50 apk installed the ram was around 340 (used) and that's awesome .
dialer is cool .
quick settings isn't a pleasure to see .
lockscreen cool.
navigation bar can't be added either through GB / Xblast .
also if GB is restored as apk rather than fresh install , some features are installed too.
please do something for heating (it's definetely some kernel derived )

Thanks for your reply and supporting our ROM. As all of we know that this is based on stock Xolo HiveUI ROM, so there may be some problem using xposed or any other framework.....also this is a themed ROM...need some more graphics processing..........
I am also using this ROM and found no any heating issue.......i am checking and if anything found I will provide u as patch............

thers's definetely some heating , may be that is not much high for our beloved gionee m2 but i never had a reading above 37 in any of the roms mentioned above .
ok , leave it .
i have some requests for the whole team :
1)please give a port to make our camera function at the fullest and is compatible with most of the custom roms .
2)can you port xperia/lg lockscreen
3)please review extremebeats studio v2 audio mod which has lowest ram consumption and highest performance and compatibility .
4)can you port colours rom for our m2.

can you post screen shot of your cpu temperature.
none of the users complained about heating issue.
use cpu temperature app from playstore to check cpu temp.
temperature of cpu upto 50°C is normal.
also i'm not using cleankat
hive gives me better battery backup and ram management than any other roms.
so currently no theming works.
will do a theme for changing some icons in hive.

that's ok .
I think you know that every device isn't made identical to other , so may be there's some fault or incompatibility with my system . So , don't worry about that .
you are doing a great job that's why i thanked you the instance i saw the thread but i have one complaint and that's
why didn't you review the mods i requested you to review as i am addicted to those and i know the instance you'll try you'll be addicted too . please review them as i want you to give the best tools to your followers and have them an awesome experience with their device.

great Rom but the gallery app has a prob
The gallery app shows images improperly with large black gaps please fix it other then that a great Rom all working fine and very beautiful

is it for 8gb or 4gb edition

First of all guys, I greatly appreciate your hard work. It's really an awesome rom. But reason to post comment is I faced problems in video recording, camera doesn't auto focus while recording videos, gallery tiles are not perfect, only can see all pictures or images in filmstrip view. And yes phone heats some after flashing this rom. Actually I don't have any problem with heating. If it's possible please fix gallery and camera auto focus problems. I do have alternatives for gallery and camera but would like to use real or original which comes with system itself. Thank you..

flashed on my 8gb edition , my observation is dat it lags alot but its a pretty cool rom tho great work

We ported it to 4gb model.
Used 4gb model stock kk as base.
If you have experience in porting try to replace library files with 8gb stock
In 4gb it's running smoothly
Zero lags

This rom is for gionee m2 bro. And if you're having gionee m2 then flashing is same as flashing other custom roms.

1) May I port it( do I have your permission)?
2) Is this the complete xperia e4 rom like with all the settings (like white balance, stamina mode, audio features etc.) Or is it just the UI?
3) Is there any battery drain in this ROM? I also came across one e4 port for the iNew V3 on needrom.com, but that had some users reporting battery drain and some other bugs, is your port direct from an E4? Or is it also from iNew v3 port?

Phone storage is shown as sd card and sd card as internal. And the default phone storage disc is not writable... Does this have any solution? Otherwise it's more than fantastic...

Its just wrong info
All data's like WA data,downloads, game obb data and other data will be saved to external SD card except camera images (they are storing into phone memory)

You probably didn't factory reset or something,try doing a factory reset and if that doesn't work re-download the ROM and try again

No . This is only for Gionee M2 .
But you can port it to your M3 and then use , for that contact your M3 devs/porters

so i flashed it today on 8gb version everything works as exprected except that storage i swapped and camera doesnot work , tied replacing files (libcameracustom.so and libcamera client )for camera from stock rom and error changed from camera failed to camera not available , i can live with storage issue but camera should work , one thing more i tried was trying to replace camera lines in init.rc but they are the same as in your provided boto img , any suggetions are more than welcome just point me in the direction rest i can do
just flashed the stock boot for my device and it now works amazing rom thanks a lot bro

Thanks a lot, now we have something else than AOSP or CM based ROMS. And FIUI is certainly good one to explore. I haven't found battery to drain heavily. It stays with me for atleast one day for sure (with gmail, whatsapp and atleast 2+ hr screen on and 1+hr talktime). Thanks a lot.
Is the base FIUI rom getting developed for Lollipop or Marshmallow as well? It would be good to get L or M based builds.

it's a ported rom, not a initial build. so i haven't heard about FIUI based on LP or MM

This is pretty much samsung rom with mods from this subforum

so its not 5.1.1 its just the stock 5.0.2 with some mods and themes ?

if its based on stock . so its 5.0.2 .. or maybe he edited the j5 rom 5.1.1

I notice all of you guys disrespecting the OP are are junior members & NONE of you are developers. XDA doesn't tolerate flaming, obviously you can't do what he's done, so give him a break. The guy took his own personal time & put something together & shared it. Don't like it, then don't use it, but keep your flaming to yourself. The ROM IS NOT STOCK just look at the features, mods, busybox, etc. This IS a custom ROM, what us old school devs call a Kang. He never said it was an S6 ROM, if you bothered to read the description, it says S6 Styled.

Alright.... i never wanted to disrespect him anyway, so i'm sorry for that, and as a student i don't have much time to learn about porting for now, but minsetnaing is a dev, he's the one who ported the miui rom for this phone ( but if these words hurt you , then again, i'm sorry for that ):angel:

Porting a ROM doesn't make you a Developer & he is NOT a recognized developer, just a member.
Notice how my avatar says RECOGNIZED DEVELOPER... I took some time off from XDA because I develop for a living now.

we are just talking about if its the stock or not if u dont like it its ur problem .. and we can do all of this things and install xposed and edit everything and it will look like this screenshots .. and he said based on stock and our stock is not 5.1.1

Do i need a stock rom as a base for installing this rom or i can install it directly through twrp on n e custom rom ..?

Tested on sm-g530h xxu wifi , hotspot and camera arent wotking .+ samsung keyboard force close when long press on setting button
