Remove "Unlocked Bootloader" Message - Moto G 2015 Themes and Apps

After the bootloader unlock you'll see a warning message instead of the Motorola logo. This could be annoying for someone, then flash this with TWRP to remove it!
This will be the final image:

You can use a program I made for the Nexus 6, and change all of the images.

Yep, but you can't install other Motorola devices logos here; they could break the bootloader "UI"

Can you please write step by step guide. I cant understand how to do it.

I have created how-to guide using your file @ http://androidmtk.com/remove-unlocked-bootloader-message-motorola-moto-g-2015

Is there a dark version of this somewhere? My biggest issue with the warning screen is it's brightness.

This removes the warning completely and boots right to animation. If you'd like to change that, you're looking for bootanimations.

I think it replaces the warning screen with the image shown in the first post, at least that's how it was for the 1st and 2nd gen.

To clear up your confusion, the file in the original post REPLACES the bootlader warning splash screen with the image shown in the original post, it does NOT remove it. I am looking for a darker splash screen. Nothing to do with boot animation at all. This file does NOT make the device go directly to boot animation.

@Captain_Throwback I need your help.... I used the theme engine on your recovery version, I rebooted to try it it works, then when I made some more changes to it I must've messed up on the XmL and it wouldn't boot into recovery.... None of this is uncommon. What is, is that when I deleted the ui.zip off of the Sd card I tried to reboot into recovery nothing is letting me boot back into your recovery, not even a reflash, I booted into philz and official twrp though, any idea what could caused that?

I have no idea. My recovery isn't any different from an image perspective than anyone else's, so it can't be my recovery that's the issue, unless you have a bad download of it.
See if this one works any better.

Tip: boot animation can be tested via adb, or in terminal, via "bootanimation" command (this way is somewhat simple to start/stop, than reboot device for each single test), and for better automation this command can be used in a shell script that, for example, copy bootanimation.zip in correct place (/system/media), set correct owner (root:root), permissions (rw r r), before its launch...

Just a simple mod for today. Nothing particularly complicated or time-consuming to do...but it can make a real change to the look of your phone!
I always liked the simple look of the 'swipe to unlock' Xperia lockscreen. But it's got no security at all. The pattern lock is better but looks terrible.
So...I took the pattern lock icons and made them transparent.
Now my lockscreen looks awesome and it's harder to break into!
To do this yourself, you can download the icons attached to this post and put them into the appropriate drawable-?dpi folder in your decompiled framework-res.apk.
Or, if you're not comfortable with decompiling apk files, just flash the attached zip in CWM (not TWRP). This zip will push a file called 'android-res.apk' into your 'system/vendor/overlay' folder.
By using an overlay apk, it means that your framework-res.apk isn't touched. So you won't lose any of the mods you may have done to it. Pretty cool, no?
Oh, and this zip will make a flashable backup too! Just in case you don't like the changes. Also pretty cool.
Enjoy!
Nice mod bro @Ticklefish

You do get used to it very quickly. Besides..being a bit harder to unlock isn't necessarily a bad thing. If someone steals your phone, they're going to be very puzzled!
It's possibly possible to move the lock. Not in xml though.

Tricky. The settings menu and the widget screen you mention all use the same icons as the lockscreen. In theory, it could be possible to make the lockscreen use all new icons..but it would involve some smali editing..

Hi,Guys. Somebody hate truecaller on COS 12.1 . So this thread for you
REQUIRES ROOT!!!
1.Install any file manager which have root access (ex,Root Explorer, X-Plore).
2.Then go to root/system/priv-app. Here has DialerNext folder, rename it to Dialer. Into the folder has apk file DialerNext.apk. Delete it and copy Dialer.apk (which I uploaded below) into Dialer folder
3.Give true permission (I uploaded pictures for true permission)
4.Restart phone
5.Done
SECOND WAY!
REQUIRES CUSTOM RECOVERY (TWRP,CWM)
Thanks to @secretkloud & @johnb380

Flat Style Colored Bars (Xposed Module)
or just use this app? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kk.dialer
it's similar to google dialer. no flashing or modifying system files needed
I might be missing out. Is something wrong with truecaller that a replacement is really wanted/needed? Should we not be using truecaller?

Speaking for myself (and I guess many many others), TrueCaller is an anti privacy solution, once you accept to join it immediately uploads your entire phone/address book to their servers to be able to share with other users (that's how it work, you girlfriends/wife/boss secret number will be on their servers, and when that number calls someone using truecaller they will see the name you have in your address book).
I just HATE this....
I added both of you name . Thank you

Hey. Thanks to all the posts here and to whoever posted that zip which flashes the Google dialer.
I made a flashable zip which deletes the truecaller apk, CM dialer and in call UI (DialerNext and INCallUINext) and replaces it with the dialer/call UI from the most recent CM 12.1 Nightly. Main advantage is that it has more forward/reverse lookup features and I think maybe also call recording depending on your location (doesn't seem to work in the USA but I managed to record a call in the UK).
I'm sharing it here for whoever is interested but flash at your own risk. Please note, it only worked for me on a clean flash so you will probably need to factory reset to get it to work. If you try a dirty flash you may end up without a dialer.

Let me know how it goes.

I suggest this zip - https://forums.oneplus.net/threads/cos-12-1-annoyances-fixes.350766/.
The above zip actually creates secondary contacts app. Apart from that, it's all same.

Ya I went back to temasek cm12.1 for bacon because there were a few bugs I just couldn't live with so I'm not on COS12.1 anymore. But thanks for the new zip if I go back I'll try it out!
