When I installed facebook, it asked me that Galaxy wants to access FB which I confirmed.
However in Note 4 - under accounts - facebook account there would be option for syncing facebook calendar and gallery with the device. In Note 5 under facebook account it just says sync contacts....where is the calendar sync option gone????
Any help???

I had the same problem but found a solution. In the Play Store I found an app called Facebook Calender Sync and this fixed it.

im having trouble with my social hub and account and sync. im using darkys rom 10.1. i have successfully added my google and facebook account on the account and sync under the settings menu. but my google account doesnt show up on my social hub app when i open it. only the messages and facebook account shows up.
another, i tried adding yahoo account on account and sync haveing installed yahoo messanger and yahoo mail. my yahoo account wont show up on both social hub and account and sync settings.
anyone know how to fix this??
social hub and account and sync works fine when i was on the original rom of my galaxy s.

does anyone know if you can sync facebook birthday to the galaxy note stock calendar?
i know that you can setup the facebook birthday on the google calendar but the galaxy note calendar doesnt seem to sync with the facebook birthdays..
it only shows the original google calendar events even though google calendar shows the normal events plus fb birthdays too...
anyone experience this issue or there is a work around it ?

I signed in to the stock Social Hub with my FB account and somewhere in the settings of SH you can choose to sync FB agenda items.

I updated my MM2 to Stock Android 2.3.6 and everything was working as well...
But I think I found a little bug in facebook (apk) contacts sync:
I just installed the app via Market and logged in, but for my surprise it doesn't show in Accounts > Other Accounts (as Twitter or even LinkeIn does) and sync is not working. (PS. not the Motoblur thing).
I tryed reinstall facebook app, reflash sbf, wipe data, restore factory defaults, santeria...
No success!
And there's no option in facebook app settings like in 2.2
Someone else can confir this bug, or is just me?
Well, yesterday I noticed the Facebook icon was shown in Accounts > Other Accounts, but when I clicked it, nothing happened... Thought it was a bug of Blur, so I took wipe data / factory reset and created a new Blur account.
Now, I noticed the icon is there and working (I've tested it)
Thank you for post it... I'll set up Facebook contacts from Facebook app instead from Blur (it has a lot of sync bugs)

EDIT: seems that there is no way to sync Facebook contacts using Facebook's own application. seems that the only function of the Facebook icon in Accounts > Other Accounts is just log into Facebook application. the only way to perform this task seems to be using the MOTOBlur.

But there 2 apps Facebook Contact Sync and Contact Sync for Facebook, the second choice is best, but didn't have the options to sync automatically

I'm using Android 4.0.4 (CM9). How can I synchronize my contacts with Facebook?
I want to get all my friends mobile numbers from Facebook into my phonebook with their avatars.
I installed Facebook app, added my account. Accounts menu in Settings are also configured with my Facebook account.
When I'm going to People --> Contacts to show --> facebook account, I see no contacts.
What I'm doing wrong?
How can I do that?

I've installed Facebook app on my new Galaxy Tab S2. Inside account's settings I can see only Contacts to sync (unlike on Note 4 where I have calendar and photos to sync), but syncing doesn't work. When I manually sync it ends immediatly, but no facebook contacts are visible.
Does anyone have similar issues?
