Root Release
I have a cellphone Sony Xperia z3 D6633 dual sim version 5.1.1. My question is when is the release of an actual rooting application
like Kingoroot or Kinguser to have a root strategy. Also how can i know the latest updates for any upcoming rooting applications. Because
i tried all kinds of rooting strategies but i know they only work for versions 5.0.2 . Any answer would be greatly appreciated. :fingers-crossed:

Hi,
I just bought a new Sony Xperia Z Europe version (C6603) and I would wish to root this phone.
I have updated it to the latest available software which is 10.3.1.A.2.67.
I tried to search in the development thread and couldn't find one.
I found the Doomlord's rooting tool kit but I would also require the .ftf file (10.3.1.A.2.67) for the same firmware so that i could root it.
Could anyone provide me the Link for the same?

Maybe you'll be more successful when you ask/search in the correct forum for Z3. This is Z4/Z3+, which neither has a 5.1.1 firmware, nor is it rootable without unlocking the bootloader.

Kingroot will root the Z3 now. But as Silent_simmal said, this isn't the correct forum.
Hello guys. I am somewhat new to rooting. I got a used Sony Xperia phone which was rooted. I noticed their was a new build which couldn't be done OTA, so I flashed it on. I have lost root access now and can't seem to find a way to get it back. Can I get help on how to go about this. Thanks.

Has anyone yet discovered how to root the docomo version of xperia z4? I tried kingroot and it failed as well. The thread of xperia z4 is also not so active. Do devs don't buy this phone?:/
