Take care about what bootloader you are using, this ROM is only for the new bootloader.
Always create a backup before flashing, to have a rescue option when something bad happen.
IMPORTANT NOTE before installing
Create a backup of your existing rom.
You can't go back by just flashing over an older android version.

make a factory reset (wipe all)

OTA can be found here: Settings -> About Phone -> System Updates
If you are using "SlimKat 4.4.4 (build 6.9 - 20140729-2210)" and you like to use OpenDelta OTA, you have to replace the apk.
I had an error inside the OpenDelta config, so the included app wont finde any updates (This is fixed in later releases).
To replace you will need to use adb and replace the apk (apk can be found at the end of the thread). Therefore open comand window and type:
- adb root
- adb remount
- adb push OpenDelta.apk system/priv-app/
How to change filesystem to f2fs?
Since 8.4 this rom uses f2fs as filesystem for system and data partition.
Here is how to change the file system:
- Use the latest twrp recovery with f2fs support form here.
- Boot into Recovery
- Select Wipe (1)
- Choose Advanced Wipe (2)
- Choose system and data (only one at a time) and than select Repait or Change File System (3)
- Select Change File System (4)
- Select F2FS (5)

Well at least it boots for now there is hope after all. Now if pengus77 could shed some light on how the 3.x kernel is going along, that would be awesome

Test to install with full wipe and with none-neon gapps and found first boot take a little bit longer time and got many error about setting can't do any thing so decide to make new install with slim gapps YES i can pass to use the phone like normal rom :good: BUT now switch back to JB because
-WIFI not work as said at OP but I need wifi.
-InternalSD not mount and error notification said blank sdcard or unsupport BUT external sdcard can use via /storage/sdacrd1 so /dtorage/sdcard0 unuseable.
-Camera and gallery force close I think because of not detect internalSD.
-random reboot BUT it very fast to back to lockscreen.
hope WIFI work next version and will test again.

I am trying to fix wifi next.
Than internal sd-card will follow. I think I know what needs to be changed. Now that the phone boots again, I can do something.

On LG E610 L5 there have also been reported some issues regarding wifi, not sure if the same as here, but on L5 the issue are related to wifi cryptation where wep and wpa2 works, but not uncrypted......just wanted to mention just in case. @PecanCM works on it.

I know the people from PecanCM, so if its the same problem it should be easy to ask them for help.

wow respect @DJNoXD i tested it and it's very smooth and i've ca. 230MB of RAM free to use (after clean install)
hope it will be stable soon

Just a wifi question, are the issue related to wpa? By that I don't mean wpa2. Just wanna know because on LG-E610(L5) there is no problem with wpa2 and wep.

First time installing CyanogenMod 11.0 to your Galaxy Ace i, or coming from another ROM:
Install ClockworkMod Recovery.
Reboot into Recovery using 3-button-combo
Do a Nandroid backup! (Optional and only if you weren't running TouchWiz before)
WIPE (wipe data/factory reset + wipe cache partition + format /system partition)
Install the ROM from sdcard using ClockworkMod Recovery

After a full wipe it works its smoth and fast atlest more than original cm11 thanks , but i cant make work usb mass storage, and i really miss the alarm app hahah.

For alarm app just extract DeskClock.apk from cm11 and copy it to system/app with proper permissions

prerequisites?
I tried to install del.mount. with different CWM but it fails with error 7 and couldnt mount sys in CWM anymore, only after Odin and stock again.
Which CWM must I use?
Running now CD-Future 8.1 with 8.1.1-patch and it works so far. For better performance, SD-Booster or performance-scripts are better?
As it´s based on CM11 I read somewhere SD must be formatted to ext4.
But link2sd (or better suggestion to move max to SD?) couldn´t mount the second partition with CD-Future 8.x. With ext3 everything fine.

I can enter Airplane mode and after reboot I have lockscreen.
But after leave airplane I stuck on SIM-PIN.

Any workaround or patch?
Without any mobile it´s unusable.
I have read about patching the s5830i with another modem firmware but I´m not sure.

Im gonna do this on my Ace thats lying around in the house. For now its pure stock unrooted. Anything I should care for?

Good to know:
NeoKernel will override any currently installed recovery on your FOTAKernel partition. That means, recoveries installed via Xperia Recovery Manager or similar apps will be replaced with the latest TWRP that is included in this kernel.
During installation, NeoKernel will recursively set a UID of 1023 for your internal storage. If you happen to use a ROM that expects a 2800 UID (which is quite unlikely, actually) and want to uninstall the kernel, make sure to flash the uninstaller zip from "Downloads" section after re-flashing your ROM zip.

If your ROM includes CM recovery, fastboot flash the boot.img from kernel zip first!

Actually you can't flash anything with CyanogenMod Recovery
Flash boot.img from zip with fastboot. then flash zip with TWRP

I copied zip modules folder files to correct path in system and set permission, flashed kernel via FlashTool. Do I really need to flash again this neo kernel zip?

My ROM SElinux status is Enforcing. Do I need to change it to Permissive? I really don't know this option. But I saw Neo's CM12.1 ROM using Permissive option.
If you don't mind, can you describe the difference of this Enforcing and Permissive option?

It's a security feature in Linux that allows only certain known files to be executed, if enabled.
Permissive is the development mode, more or less. You see possible denials in logs but the security feature itself is disabled.
If you want to use Xposed, Viper4Android or a similar mod, you need permissive SElinux.

Nice work I wanted to make a smiliar kernel but you were faster than me

I had a week with NeoKernel.... and I'm forced to go back to Resurrection's own Kernel.
I'm on Resurrection 5.5.3 and it does not want this kernel.
I had several soft reboots during this week and can not connect them to any combined reasons.
Setting 162MHz as the lowest did give me pain. Sometimes it took 4-5 seconds to get the elements of the front screen, going in to the apps list took another 4-5 secs.
So I raised it back to 384. And no led. I had no led activity with this kernel.
Today I had two black deaths... I had to remove the battery.
So... I think Neo Kernel and Resurrection ROM just do not like each other.
I tried all the ROMs, but stayed on Resurrection as somehow Lux doesn't work on PAC, ICP or Carbon, but DU and Res. But the sound doesn't work on last updates of DU....

I might have to include the lights hal from my cm12.1 builds in this kernel zip.

Setting 162MHz as the lowest did give me pain. Sometimes it took 4-5 seconds to get the elements of the front screen, going in to the apps list took another 4-5 secs.
So I raised it back to 384. And no led. I had no led activity with this kernel.
Today I had two black deaths... I had to remove the battery.
So... I think Neo Kernel and Resurrection ROM just do not like each other.
I tried all the ROMs, but stayed on Resurrection as somehow Lux doesn't work on PAC, ICP or Carbon, but DU and Res. But the sound doesn't work on last updates of DU....

I really like Neo kernel. Because of recovery and kernel tweaks. My only issue is battery draining. Beacause Resurrection Remix kernel got 3 hours screen time and neo kernel got maximum 2.15hours with undervolting. Can someone suggest best governor and i/o ?

I recommend sio scheduler for battery life, also reduce max cpu clock to 1200MHz (if you can afford a minor decrease in performance) and optimize your voltages.
Using IntelliMM governor here, with great effects on battery life.

First time installation instructions:
Backup your media files (photo, music, downloads) stored on internal storage
Download cm-13.0 i9100g ROM, OpenGApps (ARM, Android 6.0, Stock) and .gapps-config.zip (details see below) to your sdcard. Extract .gapps-config.zip to same place as your opengapps file on sdcard, usually root of sdcard.
Boot into Recovery. If you don't have TWRP 2.8.7.0, flash TWRP and reboot into twrp recovery. Then wipe system, data, internal, dalvik and cache.
Flash cm-13 rom and OpenGApps Stock with .gapps-config file. It will install opengapps nano and replace aosp keyboard with google keyboard. Reboot system and follow instructions in setup wizard. After finishing all, reboot again.
Set default phone app, before you make your first call. Go to "Settings/Apps/Advanced/Default Apps/Phone App" and set it to "Phone".

Not supported:
Manual selection of network carrier is not supported -> use automatic network search
Snap camera supports picture and video recording. Panorama mode is not supported (but working with some other camera apps). Digital zoom is not supported.
Problems and/or not working:
Sound distortions with some codecs or sample rates. Tested amazon video, amazon music and google music successfully. Also some mp3 files. But in some situations or with some codecs, sound/ringtones etc. sounds like with some kind of electronical effect. -> try different equalizer settings or use cm12.1, if audio quality is not accectable for you
GPS does not find all satellites, you will maybe not get a location fix with gps (reported by users) -> use cm-12.1. This bug could be solved by replacing proprietary libstlport.so with opensource external libstlport.so, but this breaks simcard detection atm.
When you found a bug/error/problem, post a logcat with description. Postings without these informations are likely to be ignored.
FAQ/Solutions:
Root: To enable root, go to settings/about phone and touch build-number seven (7) times. This will activate developer settings. Then go to settings/developer settings/root access and set it to apps only or apps and adb.
Recovery: Cyanogenmod 13.0 comes with Cyanogen Recovery by default. But this rom supports booting IsoRec TWRP recovery, read second post for more information how to use it. If recovery is not working, enter 'download mode' and flash a new recovery via odin, for example TWRP 2.8.7.0.
Bluetooth connections to headsets, speakers -> When you have connection problems try to disable battery optimisations for your audio app: go to settings/battery, select menu on top right and choose 'optimisation', in dropdown menu choose 'all applications' and select your music player app (for example cyanogenmod eleven), select 'not to optizime'. Reboot after you set this option.
Android security patch level: Google releases monthly security updates. Security bulletin is split into different security patch levels. Relevant for i9100g cm12.1/cm13 is only first part of this bulletin, for example patch level 2016-09-01, with changes in aosp source code. These issues gets fixed with an updated cm12.1/cm13 rom. Other issues mentioned in drivers and kernel are device specific. We could be affected by this errors or similar bugs, but only manufactor of this hardware could update (driver) binaries (and they don't care about old devices). The same with kernel bugs, i9100g kernel could be affected by this errors too, but there are no active kernel developers for this device and so these problems will normally stay unfixed.
Galery app: If galery app does not display all your albums/pictures/video for example of your sdcard: Open file explorer and search for a file '.nomedia' on your sdcard root/picture/video folder. If it's there, delete it. It tells android not to index this folder. Then make a new folder on your sdcard, for example 'media'. Move your pictures/videos/music to your new media folder. Mediascanner will scan these files automatically now and they should be visible in galery app.
Optimisations:
Low app space: If you are low on app data storage, think about repartitioning your phone storage. 4 or 6 gb should be sufficient even for many apps. Follow instructions in this thread. Alternatively use Lanchon Repit Tool.
Battery: Display and data connections/syncing use most energy. I suggest to reduce display brightness to a minimum and switch off adaptive brightness. Also switch off background data connections/syncing for apps you don't use or which will be updated when you really use it.
After first flash give phone some extra time to complete all tasks, even when it's reacting already to your inputs, it's working hard. Wait some minutes. It's also a good idea to do another reboot after some time. This solved some problems in the past.
Force closes: If you are experiencing force closes try first to clean cache/dalvik cache in recovery. If it's still not working, go to settings/apps, find the offending app and clear data. Still no solution? Then do a clean flash with factory reset and re-install apps without importing backups.

FAQ
How to use TWRP recovery with i9100g cm12.1/cm13 roms:
This rom supports IsoRec TWRP recovery. It means, it can boot a recovery from another, usually unused partition on i9100g phones. Default recovery of cm13 is cyanogen recovery. When you flash isorec twrp recovery to recovery partition, rom will boot twrp recovery. Isorec recovery will stay there until you overwrite/delete your recovery partition. Updating rom will not touch isorec twrp recovery.
Installation instructions for i9100g isorec twrp recovery:
Download i9100g IsoRec TWRP 2.8.7.0 Recovery to your pc
Download & install Minimal ADB and Fastboot on your pc. Ask google to find it.
Copy twrp_isorec_i9100g_20160612.img to install dir of adb/fastboot.
When you connect phone to your pc it should be detected. If not, install samsung usb drivers. Then connect phone.
Activate USB debugging in developer options and confirm message on phone
Open a command prompt and change to install dir of adb/fastboot
to backup recovery image follow instructions in this thread under section 2: dumping rom partition (optional)
Copy & paste following commands, don't mistype, you can damage your phone with a wrong command here!
adb root
adb push twrp_isorec_i9100g_20160612.img /dev/block/mmcblk0p6
It should be flashed in some seconds. Wait until it's finished. When you restart to recovery now, you should see twrp, booting from recovery partition.
To remove isorec recovery, flash 'overwrite_isorec.img' with adb push command.

First thank for your hard work to bring new android for our devices. I installed and have some bugs:
- Open camera can't save the pictures.
- sometime when i make a call, i can't hear anything voice. When restart phone, it's normal.
- I got bootloop when flash the TWRP 2.8.7.0

- Music over BT doesn't work sometimes.

- app standby/doze activated, testing battery life, first test seems to improve battery life when phone is dozing

may be u didnt set permission for storage for the open camera app.just check it in settings

Skype voice calls are working. Receiving videos is working. Sending videos does not work at the moment. Sending videos should work now.

Really nice! are the issues with the camera related to you now using open camera hal instead of proprietary Samsung files in this rom? Seems to be the last big chunk on the way to a fully functional Android 6 room for our phone...
Do you think it will be possible to either include twrp in this rom or use a persistent recovery as with the i9100?

I have no plans to include twrp in this rom. Updating rom with cyanogen recovery is working. I used omnirom sources for twrp in cm12.1. But omnirom seems to be half dead.
Open camera is just an app, replacing camera2/snap. Instead of camera2/snap, open camera is able to use i9100g camera. Below this i'm using ti_omap4 sources from cyanogenmod now, because old camerawrapper does not work in cm13 anymore. ti_omap4 source is used for galaxy tab devices for example. Unfortunately i did not find a way to get it working with i9100g. Any ideas whats wrong? I would be happy to integrate a patch that will make camera.omap4 working.
For me, phone is fully functional. If somebody don't think so, stay at cm12.1 or any other rom you like.

I replaced link to .gapps-config file in first post. Now it's linked to correct .gapps-config file which will remove stock camera as described.
Test build cm13 20160525 is online. I need feedback about camera. Use these two downloads to flash rom and open gapps stock:

I had not much contact with him since i build cm12.1. I would not expect this will change now.
So, any testers here? I need logcats from testbuild, posting above. In the meantime i will do some other camera-tests.

1. Extract the MediaTek USB VCOM drivers.zip file and install the Preloader VCOM drivers by running the InstallDriver.exe file.
2. Extract the SP flash tool file and run flash tool.exe.
3. Extract the content of the ROM archive.
*Just only a compatible scatter file is enough for this process but for safety reasons I recommend to use the one contained by the folder of a factory ROM package, that you downloaded from this official site.
4. Open the scatter file, that you can find in the ROM folder.
5. Leave only the recovery line checked, then double click on its Location field and brows for your device specific custom recovery image file, that you can find in the list above.
6. Click on the Download button and connect your phone to a USB port of your computer. The flashing process will start automatically and it needs just a few seconds.*
*At some models you have to press one of the volume buttons while connecting to USB but most of them don't need it and you mustn't press any of the buttons.
7. Now the custom recovery has been flashed. You may remove the USB cable. You can boot your phone into recovery by powering it on while pressing the volume up button. At some models this action starts the bootloader mode and you can boot into recovery from its menu. In such menus you can navigate with the vol-up button and select an item with the vol-down button.

The factory boot images of UMi Super ROMs are insecured (unlocked), that make some security sensitive apps (banking apps typically) useless since they refuse to run with a root access alert.
To solve a such issue, you may replace the factory boot image by the following secured (locked) one. Just download this image file, then in the flasher window double click on the path field of the boot partition and brows for this file.

Better to say: no thread without the Jemmini TWRP's.
Because Umi Super is one of the "bad boy" and need a kernel fix for touch screen (jemmini is the Master for this..)
So many thanks to Jemmini, and is correct to wait for his link about TWRP (please also donate to jemmini for his great work).

What means "scatter file invalid" in the SP Flash Tool? I get this with the latest ROM version after extraction and trying to use the .txt Scatter file in the Tool!?
Does it matter if I have running the latest ROM version on my phone and use the Scatter file from a previous ROM file in order to install TWRP only?
