Moto G XT1039- Any Working ROMs Available? - Moto G 2014 LTE Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Looking for XT1039 Rom - just one that will work
Hi there,
Status:
1. I managed to unlock my bootloader via:
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/standalone/bootloader/unlock-your-device-a
2. I did install TWRP with this Image:
recoverytwrp2-8-7
These are the results I'm getting, when I try to flash my Moto G LTE XT1039. Any ideas? It's a CID7 phone.
I start TWRP and copy the roms to the internal memory. Then I install them via TWRP.

OnePlus 3T - invalid partition selection

Hi
Today I get my OnePlus 3T. So I did that, what I do with any new phone = TWRP and Root. So I...
1. Boot, download and install Oxygen OS 4
2. Fastboot unlock bootloader, flash TWRP (latest official build)
3. Reboot in TWRP and TWRP ask for password (never set any password for this phone, nothing! just start without sim and set nothing, only wifi for the first step)
4. Download SuperSU .zip and try to root - 0MB when I try to install SuperSu
5. TWRP > Wipe > Format data
6. Reboot and now I see (when I click on install) internal Storage (52100 MB). After that (dont flash SuperSU) just boot in TWRP
7. With OTG and USB stick I flash Oxygen OS 4.0 (full ROM with 1,4GB) > phone just reboot in TWRP.
When I go to
Wipe > Advanced Wipe > check Internal Storage > click on Repair or Change File System I get "invalid partition selection"
This also happen, when I check Dalvik/ART Cache. With System, Data and Cache no problems.
I have no idea what I can do. Over Google I only find some thread from Huawei and Samsung device, something with PIT file. Nothing to OnePlus (not One, not Two and not Three).

This question seems to keep repeating itself due to missing information on TWRP post about the latest official version being incompatible with OOS 4 encryption method, but that is the explanation. There is a beta release of TWRP in post 550 in that thread that is supposed to fix this.
Here's some spoon feeding for you
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3507308
Lookup post numbered 550 and it has a link to the unofficial TWRP update
What to do? Boot in beta1 and looks like the same... can flash OOS 4 but still the same problem.

Looking for ROM for Xperia SP with locked bootloader

The rooting status of my phone says: 'Bootloader unlock allowed: No'. Some hours of research made me believe that on the user side it is not possible to change that status. So I am stuck with my locked bootloader. Originally I wanted to flash LineageOS, but this ROM seems to depend on an unlocked BL. Please correct me, if I'm wrong. Now I am looking for an alternative that can be installed by a not so experienced user (me). Surely, I don't want to brick my phone. My first question is, what conditions does a ROM have to meet to be installable on a BL locked device? Are old ROMs of CyanogenMod an option? Or plain Android? Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-sp/development/xperiasp-locked-bootloader-lbl-t2947194
That's lolipop and was the last one made for locked bootloader. It has all the steps in there. I don't know if all the linked stuff works, but I can confirm that the ROM's link is still up.
The download links on d-h.st only redirect me to advertisement pages, but no file can be downloaded
Anyway, can I conclude, that all ROMs based on Marshmallow and later cannot be flashed with LBL, and ROMs based on Lollypop and earlier can?
Basically, yes. Not all of the ROMs not based around Marshmallow/Nougat can be installed on LBL phones, though. If the op or the thread title doesn't mention that it can be installed on LBL phones then you can't.
https://drive.google.com/drive/mobile/folders/0B9ezDTx7eDfLNHVsUE9ub3FCeUU
I have an archive of last CM builds on my gdrive
There are also one stable build of 4.4 for unlocked bootloader

Is the installation process the same as for this ROM?
Do I need a kernel upgrade? Current: 3.4.0
Please, could anyone check and comment on my work-flow for the installation of CM11 on my Xperia SP with LBL? I haven't done it yet, but want to make sure this is the correct way, so I will not brick my phone. One thing, I am not sure of is, whether I need to upgrade the kernel, since CM11 is based on KitKat (I believe) and I still have the JellyBean kernel... Another open question is, will the Nandroid backup be erased from the internal storage as well by applying the 'Wipe' function of TWRP?
Preparation:
- Download CM11 ROM from https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B9ezDTx7eDfLLW0zODZRWkdKZUk to desktop PC
- Export contacts etc. to backup file(s)
- Charge phone battery to full capacity
- Remove SIM card from device and insert SD card for Nandroid backup
- Establish Wi-Fi connection
- Ensure that USB and cable drivers are installed
- Select 'Settings > Xperia > USB Connectivity > USB connection mode > Media transfer mode (MTP)'
- Connect phone to desktop PC by USB cable
- Copy backup files for contacts etc. to PC
- Copy ROM from PC to device's internal storage
Root device:
- Install Aptoide from http://www.aptoide.com/
- Install Root Checker with Aptoide
- Select 'Settings > Security > Unknown sources: yes'
- Install TowelRoot from https://towelroot.com/
- Run TowelRoot
- Check root with Root Checker
Install TWRP:
- Install official TWRP app with Aptoide (also available at https://eu.dl.twrp.me/twrpapp/)
- Run TWRP app and install TWRP recovery for my device
- Shut down device
Nandroid backup:
- Boot to TWRP recovery (press Vol— and power buttons)
- Select 'Custom recovery > Backup' to copy full device backup to SD card
Wipe device:
- Boot to TWRP recovery
- Select 'Wipe' to wipe the device
Flash ROM:
- Boot to TWRP recovery
- Select 'Install' to flash CM11 ROM from internal storage to boot partition
- Shut down device
- Insert SIM card
- Reboot

LOS 15.1 on M3
Hi. First I want to thank @surdu_petru for his amazing work. Now my Mediapad M3 (BTV-DL09) is powered by LineageOS 15.1 with Magisk. Works very well. Smooth and responsible. Using it couple hours and haven't notice any reboots or freezes.
I miss only bluetooth. Without it I cannot use Denon Heos App for my speaker.
Lack of camera is not an issue for me.
After adding BT full support this ROM may be the best for this (forgotten by Huawei) device. THX

Hello First of all thank you for making this custom rom! I have installed it on my BTV-W09 model and beside the Bluetooth it is just working fine..... But I have an issue with permissions. File managers, galleries etc are denied when trying to access internal storage. Did I miss a step in installing or is this a known issue ? Thanks

Please, check the official thread of LOS 15.1, this thread it's here only for INFO ... and the OP it's not the developer of this custom ROM ! Thanks !
Wow, it worked!! Glad that I got the rom installed (almost) flawlessly ! If you checked my other posts on the other guide it didn't go really flawlessly when I was attempting to unlock the device
Now I'll play around a little bit to get used to this new lineage territory
Thanks to surdu_petru who really worked hard on this... can't believe I'm giving a new life to my Beethoven which was getting completely abandoned from Huawei (last security patch over a year ago if I remember right!)
I can boot fine and all seems to be good, however I just noticed a thing when installing GApps: At the end of the install process, after stating "installation complete", it kinda freezes for half a minute or so and then gives me the error "Updater process ended with signal: 9" (see attached image). I looked it up and it should mean "Killed by the application". Maybe TWRP is seeing that the update process does not terminate and it kills it? I tried both with the last "pico" and "nano" versions (20. August 2020) which I downloaded from https://opengapps.org/.
Anyways, so far so good, can't wait for the update which seems to be coming very soon (no pressure surdu_petru)
EDIT:
I just flashed the latest OS update from surdu_petru and with that one, I didn't give me the "signal 9" error at the end of the Open GApps install as I had for the previous version. Great!
Hi, after install twrp recovery, press (Pwr+VolUP) goto Emui recovery instead of twrp, anything I am missing ?
Thanks

Question Unable to decrypt FBE device

Hi Friends,
I am seeing the following error:
"E: Unable to decrypt FBE device"
I performed the following steps:
1. flash the TWRP : TWRP link: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=2188818919693773061
2. Formatted my device and wiped data/cache/dalvik storage.
3. Reboot to recovery.
4. Flash Crdroid installation and reboot to System.
Crdroid is not at all launching. I am seeing a boot loop i.e phone is continuously restarting with the Redmi logo.
I entered into recovery and then I noticed OS is not installed. when I tried formatting/wiping of data I am seeing below error:
"E: Unable to decrypt FBE device"
attached are kernel logs and recovery logs and Screenshots of errors at the time of flashing ROM.
Device: Redmi 9 Power
Apologies friends if I am confusing you with terminology I am completely new to this space and I am doing this on my own for the first time.
Could someone please help me.
Thanks,
LimeJuice
Did you solve your problem?
i install xiaomi.eu rom and same error too but booting works ok also rom is ok
i use this
twrp_lime_R9T_3.5.A10_05-03-2021_D-bl-l_fix_mtp_after_format.img
i dont know why it showing this error.

Realme X2 Pro TWRP Lineage install without error but cant boot

I got an European Realme X2 pro on which i now got TWRP running (after flashing a modified vbmeta image and only one TWRP version seems to work). Of course the bootloader is unlocked. The problems is that when i change setting in TWRP and reboot it doesent save them.
Also when i install a lineageos 19 zip, this goes through without an error, but it only boots to bootlaoder.
After rebooting (from twrp) files in /sdcard are gone, is this normal?
And lastly when i go to wipe in TWRP it doesent give me the option to wipe system, altough i can "mount" system. In Backup TWRP shows that there is a system partition which has 1450mb.
Thanks for your replies in advance
