Hi,
When I select text with the S pen it doesn't give me all the options specifically dictionary. Is there a setting that I need to turn on?
It depends on what browser you are using. It only gives you those options in the Internet samsung browser.
Anyone else notice this? If messages (default touchwiz) is opened, there is no text tone notification. Is that a setting somewhere?
I noticed this too. Dont like it...
Nope but it does vibrate you can also turn on pop up and it should pop right up

There's no notification because the phone is smart enough to know your already in the app. Lol
The pop up where it shows a text message briefly don't show up. I don't know that I've even noticed it on my Note 9 but it did on my Note 8. I'm using Nova but even when i change to the default loader it still doesn't do it. I checked the settings and pop ups are enabled.
Anybody have an idea why my text messages aren't showing in the pop up bubble? Maybe it doesn't do this on the Note 9?

Have you got edge lighting set to work while screen on? I had this problem, edge lighting when screen on gives just a little notification popup for a second, but, edge lighting barely works, mime doesn't work at all now with screen on or off.
Also check your messaging app's notification settings and make sure they're set to high priority, only high priority gives audio and visual notification when the screen is on.
I use android messages because Samsung messages doesn't have the ability to one click copy the login codes that you get in texts directly from notifications.

Try this method: go to menu / setting / display / Edge screen / Edge Lightning / Manager notifications then turn off the Message's notifications in this section. The pop-up will be appearing when you get the incoming SMS....

I "upgraded" from a Note 3 to a Note 9.
In the Note 3, for text messaging, when attaching an image to a text - I could move the image below the text, or keep the image on top of the text.
In the Note 3, there was a menu option "Layout (bottom)" - if I wanted to move the image to the bottom within the text.
In the Note 9, has the ability to change the layout between images and text inside a message (Samsung stock messaging app) been taken away?

I have a new Redmi Note Pro 10 phone. At the bottom of the Home screen is the usual badge, resembling a speech bubble, used as a short cut to access SMS texts.
On my last phone, this SNZ,badge automatically displayed a count ( number) whenever an SMS arrived and was waiting to be read. It cleared when I read the SMS. This notification does not appear on my new Redmi phone. I ha e looked up the settings and it shows notifications are set to on, so why does it not work.? Anyone know?

On other icons like WhatsApp it's working?
