It does not say that it does not work for kitkat. Nobody has tried. Kitkat came out AFTER they wrote those messages. Try it, it just might work.

I'm using dolphin browser on my Razr and it plays most of the flash content: videos, animations and such. However, it fails when the page is completely based on flash.
On my ARM tablet, dolphin with a flash plugin loads even the latter. So I guess, flash on android "hacks" are just not 100% compatible with our x86 device.

Your best hope is to wait for a 2.2 MDPI sense rom to leak and get ported. HTC said most 2010 phones will get froyo so I would be surprised if at least the slide(comfirmed by T-mobile) or legend don't get it. Flash player will be built into the sense framework though, as it was done with the evo. This is my guess, and in no way official lol.
The Adobe flash player will never be able to play flash on g1 as it is not possible due to the weak processor it is equipped with. Cyanogen once also said, the flash from Adobe are not usable on the 1st generation android phone.
Do correct me if m rong.

I tried reinstalling browsers and clearing caches. doesn't seem to want to work at all. browsers are somewhat working, but when you try to enter a URL, com.google.android.googlequicksearchbox force closes and the browser crashes to the home screen. hulu app just crashes to the home screen too.
ah well. FroYo is pretty new, and I'm sure some clever developer will get things going. think I'll give skyfire a try.

Technically, you're wrong.
Adobe has a video on YouTube where they demonstrate Flash 10 on a G1, so it works for them.
Personally, I haven't been able to get it to work yet ='(
If Adobe can do it I'm sure it's possible for XDA-Devs to figure out.

[APP] flash player for 2.0 and 2.1 full

Adobe Flash 10.1 full support for Android 2.0 and 2.1 Download and install apk
Android 2.2 comes with the new feature for full flash support. Here how it’s work google just integrated a plugin called com.google.android.feature.GOOGLE_PLUGIN. And Flash uses it to embed itself inside browser. So browser in android 2.1 mobile phones does not see plugin. Now if you are owner of Android 2.1 or 2.0 smartphone then download theAdobe Flash 10.1 apk application below and get full flash support for your Android 2.1 or 2.0 mobiles.

The reason it worked on the Evo was b/c the sense UI used "Flash Lite".. There was a 2.1 Flash install that would upgrade the Flash lite to full Flash.. The epic does not have any version of flash at all.. =\

This is wrong. The Epic also ships with Flash Lite. There is also no way to 'upgrade' Flash Lite to 'Flash Full' -- it simply doesn't exist for 2.1.
Any Flash you see floating around for 2.1 is just Flash Lite.
The Flash Lite plugin on the Epic does allow you to view flash on a few sites already, without installing anything else. Try going to Youtube -- videos should play in the browser, they'll just run like ****.
i know that the web broser skyfire allows u to see flash content on the Epic cause i tried it. and im not rooted so i know someone around here has the talent to implement into stock browser the skyfire works well but is very corny not better than stock browser, so if anyone knows someone that knows someone see if they will be willing to give it a try.. hopefully it will get going cause theres alot of talent around here and if its possible it can be done it will be done here.. just a thought. thanks guys http://http://www.skyfire.com/

You won't be able to implement Skyfire's method into the stock browser -- Skyfire takes the flash content, and converts it on the fly, on their servers, and then sends the video down to the phone in a playable format.

Go to ArmorGames.com (flash game site) and see if any of the games work. I seriously doubt they will.

K install 11.1.115.58 for ICS and my favorite flash browser is the aosp browser. You can get an installer for a pre compiled version of it on the play store and it works pretty well. Dolphin is definitely my #2 though. Please report back once you try again.

I could but am under the post amount required to be able to post a link. Just Google archived flash versions and get the latest android 4.0 version. Make sure that you have unknown sources checked in your security settings and you are good to go. As far as dolphin goes, it does seem if you want to use it to display flash you will need to delete a specific xml file though. If you want a browser that works out of the box though there are quite a few that work, albiet none perfectly. My favorites are aosp browser, and boat browser

[VIDEO] Sailfish OS 2.0.10 on Nexus 5 (720p 50fps)

Since there seems to be no fresh videos with Nexus 5 and latest Sailfish OS I decided to enlighten you with a one minute take.
It is very smooth and fast, a very positive surprise to me - especially considering it's really running all that stuff with multitasking. So this is my daily-bread phone OS for now.

Advantages of CM 12.1 over stock with different laucher

At the moment I'm very satisfied with my rooted fire having stock firmware and Nova launcher.
Anyway, many people are happy about having the possibility to change from stock to CM 12.1 firmware.
Question is: what are the main advantages of CM 12.1 compared to a rooted stock firmware?

I am using CM for 2 days now
+ Square.Home launcher is finally fully working (on stock firmware - widgets and notifications where not avaliable for it, even after made it system)
+ Modded playstore with patched jar file (was not able to patch it on original)
+ Normal downloads (It was so stretched, made my eyes bleed)
+ Much more free space - and much less in-built ****
+ Normal system search (say bb to bing)
+ Normal system settings (Manual time set, full Notifications management, accounts management, etc)
- No bluetooth
- No SIM icon (can be fixed now, i am just too lazy)
- No battery stats
I tried out CM12.1 and while it's great to have stock, playing videos isn't working quite right (the system seems to hang for about 15 seconds, plays a bit of video, then hangs again, and repeats). I got Netflix to work, but PLEX and other forum apps didn't work right.
my only problem with CM 12.1 atm is no exFat or NTFS support, so my 64gb and 128gb sdcards are useless

PLEX was the big one for me. I'd see the first frame of video, then the system would freeze (no response to tapping back/home), then 10-15 seconds later it might play a few more frames, then do the same thing. .gifv links in imgur also fail to animate in Chrome (and I think I tried Firefox).
No problems with video using FireOS.

Fixes for various bugs and new rom updates seem to be coming fast. At least to me. Untethered boot from ggow, OTG, battery stats, no sim bug, bluetooth, multiuser, video fix, feels like every couple days there is an improvement. Major props to all developers & contributors.

Why wouldn't you just do a clean install? Getting the device to TWRP is 90% of the effort. If you are going from stock to a custom ROM, you really should wipe out all the old data.

Well, I got two devices. One is on stock (rooted and so on) the other one is on SlimLP since today. On SlimLP's device I've downloaded all the apps needed and made all the configurations I want. So if I could backup/restore the SlimLP (with all the apps and configurations) to the stock device I'd save about 2-3 hours of work.

Yes, that should work fine.
restore system has not worked for me, stock or cm12.1, so I have been
In Twrp: Install rom, Supersu, gapps, then restore> uncheck all except data>swipe to restore
Like what shadow said.. Both systems are altered after boot ( differ even just slightly) so completely porting may crack your wallpaper but its safe .. You should try it .. If I were you .. I would have tried 2 different roms on each.. But yeah it takes time .. So ...
