Hey guys, having some trouble rooting this SPRINT FLEX....
My build is the ZVA Build... KOT49I.LS995ZVA - It's on the Stock 4.4.2 Android, kernel is 3.4.0
I cannot find any information anywhere on this. Tried using iORoot and LG_ROOT to manually root, via ABD ... My device connects to ADB and everything but when i try to Push any root files via iOROOT Installation aborts ...

SOLUTION

You dont need kingoroot.
If you have never been rooted before just ut towelroot and bruteforce the root. Reboot and you're done. Install supersu from playsotre enjoy!

Need help rooting my LG L90 D405

Towelroot fails (Maybe said unsupported device not sure.). When I try to boot to recovery, using ADB commands adb shell
reboot recovery, I get this image with the green Android with red triangle (Search from Google, can't add any links yet.)
Which version of the OS are you running? I have a different version (D415) but after I upgraded to 5.0.2 Towelroot wouldn't work anymore and I had to try using King Root, which worked successfully. Maybe give King Root a try?

[Root] rooting unsuccessfull

Hi,
My phone details
XT 1068
Android version- 5.0.2
System version - 22.56.3.titan_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03 retin
I have successfully unlocked bootloader. I just followed rooting method mentioned in this below thread.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=58567649
But when I run root-windows.bat, I am getting below error.
The file not found in specified path.
Am I missing something? Do I need to follow any other procedure?
Please help me to root...
Thanks,
Vivek
Install TWRP First. Then Flash the supersu zip file(Google it version 2.46). Done you're rooted.
Hi,
I flashed twrp 2.8.5 and rooted SuperSU 2.35.... Phone booted properly. But then I tried going to recovery again, all I could see was no command sign n phone went to boot loop.
I flashed stock rom again as of now. But when I root again, it is going to boot loop... Please help me to root my phone again ..
Is it something to with versions of twrp or SuperSU?

You have to use superSU 2.46, any other version will cause bootloops :

Try this method to replace kingroot with supersu.
Not work but I root it with kingroot the problem is Xperia phones have a security on kernel I can't write in the system I need pc to install a recovery via cmd or open the bootloader but I will do the first method and thanks again.

I have a XT1064 model. I just simply want to root, not root+rom

It is stock, updated to lollipop 6.0. I got the adb stuff on my pc to run cmds. All I want to do is root it for now. Every search I keep finding is not XT1064(other models show) or if it is, its not on lollipop or it is but not 6.0. I can't seem to find any for XT1064 already running on lollipop 6.0 that just simply needs to be rooted, no custom rom.
TWRP
Just flash by the bootloader the most recent version of TWRP (search for TWRP titan). And then, flash the latest SuperSU on TWRP recovery (search for SuperSU Beta).
Hope i've helped

You have to flash SuperSU beta otherwise you'll be in a bootloop.

Thanks, I tried flashing the latest stable supersu (2.79) and no luck. I flashed sr3 supersu and it worked so thanks
Thank you all! Finally got around to doing it. I used the beta SU as nilanko suggested. I ran a backup before trying SU(thank god I didn't forget!). I was stuck on the bootloader unlocked warning after doing it. At first I though maybe it just takes awhile the first time. So I went out for a smoke. Came back & it was still on the bootloader unlock warning screen still. I ran a restore through twrp & rebooted. Booted up fine now. I am wondering what happened exactly.
Only things I can think of is
A)The SU file was corrupted(something in it didn't download right when I downloaded it off my computer)
B)I put the SU file in the internal memory, not on the SD card. I thought it doesn't matter as long as you had the space on either.
SR3-SuperSU-v2.79-SR3-20170114223742 worked!:good:

Trying to Root Galaxy SM-G920V

I know its a bit of an old build... but i'm trying to root my SM-G920V using PingPong Root
Every time I go through this process:
1. Install pingpongroot_beta6.apk
2. Open Ping Pong Root
3. Install SuperSU
4. Open Super SU
5. Get an error message: "There is no SU binary installed, and SuperSU cannot..."
6. Push Ok.
7. Goes back to PingPong Roof: Push "Get Root!"
8. Get Error: "Root failed. Did you install SuperSU before running the root?"
9. try "Download Data"
10. Still Get Error: "Root failed. Did you install SuperSU before running the root?"
I've read a few forums on this issue and i could never find a fix.
Anyone have any help with this please.
I'm trying to root my 920v also. I'm on 6.0.1. I've tried king root and kingo. Any info would be appreciated.

Pretty sure ping-pong root won't work with 6.0.1 just 5.0.2 I think.

From the research I have done it couldn't seem to find anyone who has succeeded in rooting the 920v. So I just traded for a different model.
