Hey guy's this is my first post here.
I was just wondering is there a way of unlocking my Lumia 640 LTE so I can use another sim. I dont want to call any carrier services if im being honest..

Thanks for replying, but I'd prefer not to pay or chat to my operator.
only your operator can give you free unlock... for everything else, you must pay... no free unlocking

The Treo 500v is not a HTC device.
doesn't really matter if it's HTC or not, this is a network issue.
call your service provider and tell them that you have to go out of country for a bit and you need to unlock your phone and they might just give you the code.

Is there any unlock code generator or firmware that unlocks G1?
you can just call your carrier and they can unlock your phone for you, just tell them your going out of the country

call your carrier for the unlock code. say you want to send your phone overseas as a present or you are about to travel overseas. they would gladly send u an unlock code within 24hrs.
Once it's unlocked, does that mean that it can be used on AT&T and T-Mobile? Or does it only use it for that one?

Unlocked means you can use a sim card from any carrier you want
Problem is that I'm not in USA, and do not have T-Mobile sim (number, contract, whatever). Thank you anyway I'll continue to search.

Well you can pay to get an unlock code. Or if you know anyone in the states that has T-Mobile and give them you IMEI number and have them get you an unlock code. There is no generator or firmware that will do it as of now.

If you are a Verizon customer just call global support and tell them you are going overseas or out of the country and need to unlock your SIM. They will give you a code to enter. Go to settings, all settings, security, enter the code then you can use any SIM from any provider.
It is really that simple.

The Imagio is a "Global Phone" meaning it has both a SIM and does both CDMA and GSM. I have already used mine in Lebanon by using a local provider's SIM lent to me by a relative. Because of the way over-hyped and over-rated Droid the Imagio seems to have been passed by, but it truly is an incredible device.

My friend, I'm NOT Verizon customer . Any halp for me? I bought Imagio without contract but it is till locked with Verozin.

I would say you are out of luck. You can try the pay service listed below, but most are dubious at best. Why would you have a Verizon phone but not be a Verizon customer? Unless you purchased it unlocked, it would be pretty useless.
You could try putting a SIM card from another carrier in it and see if it works.

but now on Brazil, the phone is Locked (The guy on best buy told me that was unlocked )
how can i unlock this phone? i'm totally new on Windows Phone area. If i change the ROM, will unlock the phone?
if dont, how can i do it?

Change / flash an ROM not desimlock the phone.

I had my Lumia 635 unlocked using a 3rd party company. After the code was accepted the screen now shows "PUK required". I am overseas and I'm trying to use it with a foreign cellphone provider. Do I have to call AT&T to get the code? I thought PUK is SIM related? I don't have an account with AT&T nor their SIM.
Please advise. Thanks

PUK is a code required by your SIM card. Probably you use a prepaid one and it is not unusual such a card requests a PUK each time your phone wakes up or restarts. It probably has an option to cancel these requests, refer to card''s instructions or contact card provider's customer service for assistance. Use another SIM to confirm a PUK is not requested by it.

So I have Nokia Lumia 520 in my drawer for a year now and decided to do something with it maybe use it for something or sell it because phone is new. But the problem is that it is locked on O2 network UK. Since its been some time from its release maybe there is a ways of unlocking it for free? you can not unlock using C:/DPP/NOKIA/simlock due file encryption.... For now there is no public solution for sim unlocking

If you want to pay for unlocking , I do not recommend internet... maybe you should go to a local phone service to get unlocked.
Or why not just ask your mobile operator for unlocking? After some time, some mobile operators do unlock phone for free if they are requested

Thing is I bought this phone in the UK then I moved to other country.
So not sure that can I still get unlock code from O2 since the phone is not even in the UK.
