Well, I would help you, but my Hima is broken again... and I'm not sure if I'll repair it. As for now I'm using Wizard.
I've written some tim e ago a tutorial on porting ROMs - but it's in Polish... although maybe some of you will get only commands from it I'm planning on rewriting it in English, but just can't get my hands on it...
It will be nice if it not fake.
changing the regestry for looking like wm 6.1 - not cool.
Hope Shekar at least make thomesing to become rommaster - but for now it only fake.
And what about kitchen ?
A lo of people find usles that garbage that can be found in Shekars roms.

Well freinds. Every thing is ported and working successfully, except for the SMS trnssmit/receive. Trying to solve that. In case I succeed then You shall enjoy the fruits; else i shall still post the ROM with that minor problem for you people to solve..

I'm thinking of update my ROM on my TyTN II.
But I really don't know what ROM to use.
Should I go for WM6.1 or WM6.5? If I use WM6.5, would the Kaiser get slower than WM6.1?
And it would be great to have a ROM that is more "fingerfriendly" than the orignial ROM, so I don't need to use the stylus for everything. I know i don't have to use it, but if the icon's where larger and so on, it would be so much easier =)
It would be great if some of you guys that have a little bit of knowledge at this area, just replied what ROM you like best and a link where to DL it =) Screens would be great =)
I've searched the forum, but every damn ROM says: "This is the best ROM ever made" hehehe... Yeah right, that makes it so much easier for me, and the other noobs on the forum

I can't try each one, that's impossible. And I'm pretty new to PPC, so i don't know what to look at.

Look at the screenshots and the content list, pick one you like and flash. If after a wekk you don't like that one, flash the next one on the list.

Without me sounding like a a** best ROM discussions are against the forum rules.
I'm sure that stands here too, thats why you getting satiricle answers as there is no best ROM "so many variables on what people like & want" flash and you will find what you like which is what we all do.

I've managed to succesfully flash my ROM now
Now my Kaiser is running: [Aug 4th][PDACorner] Ultimate-X2.V9 -23017|M2D|CHome|Enhanced Version
And I'm very pleased with that ROM, after checking it out for a couple of hours now But I have a problem, and that is the norwegian letters on the hardware keyboard does'nt work =( What do i need to do to get them to work? Tried to search the forum, but can't find a solution =/

Saw a list in Wizard forums and found a thread of all the roms which is a good way of organizing all the roms but I hate the endless scrolling so I put up this google docs to kinda sort it out. Check out see if you think it works. Are there any other criteria that should be included.

2nd i think you must add the language wwe
because i see 2 roms in the list one is SWE and the other is multi language

This is the same problem I am running in to with my mirror.
Im trying to update the mirror with new ROMs most days (ok, have now for nearly a week... work has to come first)
The only field I dont have at the moment (although I have been meaning to add it in) is the TF3D version
If cooks what to upload their own ROMs to my mirror they are MOOR than welcome as it will save me time while tring to upload the rest...
I dont have a RS account so it can take along time to download all these new ROMs

thanks, for the support, I can't always tell the language, I added the column and will correct as appropriate. I also organized the list by developer so I could easily make sure I have all the roms each developer.

My question is - Where is the best place to dig up resources and info on learning how to work with the Android OS?? Such as creating Kernels and ROMS?? Even Themes? I have looked online and I found one course of instruction for Android - buts its quite expensive... Is there a cheap or free alternative?

Ok this is an old post but im using it for a new question since there was only 1 reply lol
tequnically this is a question so i feel it can stay in the Q&A lol but im one of the few un-lucky people who didn't know about XDA when i first got my G1, i was a little slow when this all first started and i finally joined earlier this year..
So my question is...
Is anyone as sad as i am knowing that the G1 section of xda has died down a whoooooole lot...? lol
this section used to be swarming with advanced and new users for the device and had so much going on, around 2009 this place was just moving so fast you could't keep up with the development lol but now it's just sad... makes me wish i could turn back time and be apart of the G1 movement lol sorry to waste your time if you read this... but i really just wanted express that opinion and see if anyone else has anything to say about there fondest G1 memories

Does anybody know how to remove a rom from the rom manager account? when i go to edit, the only option even close is the visibility... but i want to take it off!!! is it possible?
Also i tried to update my developer name and id but it seems to not change on the rom manager app...
Aaaaaand my roms are only listed in premium section lol, how do i maketem free.... they really don't tell you how to do anything on the upload page..

yeah i know... everything now is just faster, and has loads of memory to play with..
