Has anyone bought an Amzer case from Amazon? Gel or TPU? Any good?
I know someone talked about it in the Vibrant forum. Might wanna check over there. I think the person did a mini review.

I ordered a black silicone case as well as their screen protector to try out for the hell of it. They are out of stock so there will probably be a small wait till it arrives.

The cases aren't out yet. They are up for pre order. If you go to Amzer's website you will see that they don't ship until 1/5. That is how it has been since the phone came out cause that is when I checked for it so it is not out yet.

no one has it yet, it isnt supposed to ship until the 6th or 7th last i checked. Unless you meant you wanted a pic of the nexus 1 one, in which case that would have nothing to do with this thread on the nexus s...
Just got mine and im really happy with it. Fits nice and snug too. Their screen protector on the other hand was a total fail. It never adhered to the screen properly and was in the trash within 10 minutes of delivery.

I was gonna wait for a different case, but i already dropped my phone on the pavement and gave the corner a nice little ding I settled for this case..
Amazon seems to be out of stock. However, one of the other sellers had the case in stock so I ordered through them on Amazon. Fast shipping, too - just got a e-mail the order has been shipped.

The AMZER silicone cases look nice. I have disliked the Best Buy case since the day I bought it, but any case (well, almost any case) is better than no case. Anyway, Amazon registered the AMZER ones as in stock today, so I ordered one. Optimistically waiting.

i just ordered one to from ebay, it was cheaper there only 11.99 i think w/ free shipping. on amazon it was 9.99 with 5.00 shipping.

I always buy things in batches on Amazon so I can use Super Saver shipping.

I also have Prime (have since it was made available) so I just placed an order for two (one white and one black) and chose 3.99/item one day shipping and should be getting them tomorrow.
Side Note:
I highly recommend Amazon Prime to anyone who uses Amazon frequently. It's only 79.99/year and you can invite up to 4 household members (though I'm sure you can add a friend) to share the membership. The first time I realized how great it was, was when I ordered an industrial strength shredder as a christmas present and because of the bulk the shipping would have been outrageous, so instead I opted for the 3.99/item overnight shipping.

Just purchased one to replace the defender. The defender is a nice case, it just makes the phone too big for comfortable pocket carry and I have never trusted the holster. In fact, the only time I've dropped my phone has been when it fell out of the holster.

The belt clip for the Defender makes a nice car mount for the Commuter.

I have got the Car mount from Dell Which I like very much except in hot weather the tape comes unstuck but a small screw took care of that & for my Goldwing motorcycle I have a Ram mount But as I found out just a few minutes ago, it doesn't seem to be available anymore. It mounts to my clutch housing and holds the Streak fast. I will be adding a tether "just in case".
It shipped from Miami via UPS. It was regular UPS Ground (7-day shipping), but I live in Florida so I got it next day.

Got mine today. I used a TPU case for a long time. The commuter case is great.
I really need help with this. There's so many cases on Amazon, but I don't know which one is good.
It has to be around the $10 price range, it can be a little over or under. Under preferred.
My Nexus had been naked since I got it in July, let's dress it up.

That's the case I have as well. Paid like $5 for it on eBay and it works great. Not to bulky but feel like it would absorb a fall from 3-4 feet just fine.

I had their case for my Galaxy Nexus where it provided great protection and was also lightweight. I just ordered their case for the GN II and I'm excited to receive it. I went to the sprint store the other day looking for the bodyglove everyone has been talking about but ended up buying some bulky and heavy case from ventev.

Yes, the other one was first, but I prefer to see images of the case on the phone. (like I'm sure most users would)

i think they might've rushed this out. this is one of their few cases where there are no cutouts for the buttons

My case shipped out yesterday so I should have pics by Thursday or Friday. As for cutouts there weren't any for the Galaxy Nexus and that did become a pain however with the few cases I've tried for the GN2 the lack of cutouts is not a problem.

Just got my case in. I like it much better than the case from Cruzerlite.
Edit: First impressions. Love the matte finish and the smoothness of the back. I wasn't much of fan of the back of the Cruzerlite case, but I dealt with it. Vol Up/Down and power buttons seem a bit a "clickier".
I'm jealous! I am still waiting for mine.. hopefully tomorrow

Got the case yesterday and it is great! It doesn't slip, it's light, and offers very good protection. Without the case I would frequently hit the power button but there is less of that now. I wish I hadnt spent 30 bucks on that bulky ventev case from sprint.
If I didn't "need" a kickstand in a case, this would be my number 1 choice. Their case kicked ass on my Galaxy Nexus. This is the best slim type case with a great matte non slip finish, and the cost is always very reasonable. I wish Sammy made phones whose bodies were like this case lol.

Diztronic cases aren't starter cases...they are the best you can buy, IMO.

Some of my favorites over the years in no particular order...Speck Candyshell, Incipio Feather, CaseMate Barely There, Otterbox Commuter, Spigen Neo-Hybrid(On my note 3 currently).
Generally I prefer a minimal case as I'm pretty careful with my phones, however with small phones the Commuter is cool. I used a Commuter a long time with an M7 & my GF has one on her iPhone5

I often get Diztronic TPU cases right away, intending to use it as a "starter case" but end up keeping it on the phone. They're very well made for how much they cost and they are usually available right after a device is released. Win-win.
Got mine and the depth camera hole is offset. Feels good though.

Camera hole offset aside, it's definitely one of the best feeling enclosure for this device. I like it more than the Cruzerlite, that's for sure. Smooth, matte, with a very slight, slight grainy finish.

Mine was like that too but it seems to work itself in and becomes nearly perfectly centered. Take it off and put it back on.
The Speck Candyshell was the same way too.
I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the fit & quality of this case. Definitely a keeper.
Just wish I would have had it on before dropping between seat and console...
