Anyone else having problems with Spotify? - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Been a premium user for 3 years, bought my Tab S2 yesterday, 8 inch. Downloaded Spotify, but it won't login.
Tried logging in and out, reinstalling, uninstalling, everything. I use my Facebook account which works fine, on my laptop and phone (LG G3) to access spotify, I've relogged on both these devices and it works perfectly.
Just on my tablet it refuses to login and is stuck on the "logging in screen" forever without change. I even contacted spotify help and support and told them my problems, they gave me a generic username and password to login with and it still didn't work, so it must be the tablet/operating system software.
I don't know what to do, maybe I should factory reset? But I've already synced everything with my google account.
Pls help

NVM it started working as soon as I switched wifi networks, that was weird. Can a mod please delete this thread?

[Q] Facebook contact syncing

I bought this phone last week, and everything synced fine. But now I'm getting a facebook sync error just for contacts saying "it will be back shortly"...
Any way to fix this or may it be just server related?
Edit: ok, I've tried removing and re-adding the facebook account and nothing. But it works with another facebook account.
Edit2: I even tried reseting the phone via Privacy and still the same sync error... Ideas?
I get that when I'm on wifi. When I switch back to data I'm fine
Sent from my GT-I9000M using XDA App
I get it on 3G and WiFi
Thanks for answering though!
Orktu Sync Issue
Hi, everybody, my SGS has the same problem, but only related to the Orkut sync (Orkut is a social network from google, very popular in Brazil). I tried several ways to solve this problem, like wipe the phone and upgrade the rom with Odin (with re-partition e bootloader reinstall, using several roms, froyo and eclair) and nothing worked until I use a new orkut(google) account, and it worked, but now, suddenly (in fact, after I tried to root with z4root, but I instaled a new rom already, with re-partition) stops to sync, and the same message is displayed.
What am I suposed to do?

[Q] Question: Rooted, Wi-Fi ok, but cannot connect to my Google account

I have a NC, 1.0.1. Rooted flawlessly yesterday. I yet had great problems to register with my Google account. The NC works a long while with signing in... and then says: can't establish a reliable data connection to the server. At the same time I could reach my Google account via the Web on the NC without difficulty, so there are no Wi-Fi problems obviously. Finally, after some hours, I managed it somehow, don't really remember what I did. Market etc, all worked.
This morning, when starting the NC it went to a reset by itself. After that, I had to setup the NC and register at B&N again, without problems, and then to connect to my Google account again. WHICH DOES NOT WORK THIS TIME AT ALL. But again, I can reach Google via the Web. But that does not help for setting up my account, or. Cannot reach Market and all this.
What shall I do? Root again?? Is this problem known?
Many thanks for any help,

[Q] google account not connecting

Hello! i have an experia z (obviously) and a long while ago i changed my password on my google account. A few days ago, i was doing something (i dont remember what) and it said that it cannot access my google account. so i went into settings and removed the account and tried to relog in. but now all im getting is a screen saying it cannot get a stable connection to the server and asks me to use wifi for more stability. Sadly, i was already using wifi so i still went through the guided setup to select my wifi and try again. still didnt work. so i turned off wifi and used my 4g and it still wouldn't let me log in. So now im trying to troubleshoot ways to log in because i have none of my contacts and stuff like that.
it still lets me log into the account in the browser window and in the gmail app and in the email account setting in account. just not in the guided setup for making it the primary account. (i tried to add it as email and sync to think "just maybe it will work" but it only syncs emails :X)
my device is rooted and using stock rom
Here are things I've tried to do (some are from suggestions online that aparently helped others):
Reboot phone
remove data/cache from google play store
uninstall updates for google play
unchecking auto time
checking auto time
making sure time is right
checked for software updates
restarted phone, took sims card out and tried logging in
tried to log in through youtube app (which goes through the says black screened log in guide)
turned on airplane mode, turned off phone, turned it back on, then tried wifi and data again.
and i think that is all i have tried. But it tried alot of things so im not sure. Once again. i can log into the account on my phone in other places just not in this black windowed log in guide and yes im typing in the right password and username... i can add pictures if needed.
Bump also tried factory reset and going to website and did the trouble shooting guide. Still nothing
Bump threw phone at wall and drowned it in tub. Still not doing it
Also I called customer service. And like I assumed, all he did was tell me to reset cache and data and restart device. Then asked if I could try to factory reset and then couldn't find any other solutions. So im stuck

[Q] "can't Connect To Server" (PLEASE HELP)

So, i've had my att s5 for a few months now. It worked fine, no problems at all. But when I got Kitkat 4.4.4, every Google related refused to work. Play Store, Youtube, Chrome, you name it. I tried a whole list of things to try to fix it, including resetting time and date, uninstalling updates, clearing cache, the whole 9 yards. Now i've reset my phone to factory settings, which took a lot to do for me. So I select wifi, agree to the terms and conditions, then TRY to login to my Google account. But now it always tells me that it can't maintain a stable connection. All of my other devices work fine with my wifi, and I even went to a friend's house to try. No luck. At this point my phone is bricked, and need some help. If you have any idea whats going on, or how to fix it, please let me know. Thanks!

Getting the dreaded NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID message

Hi all,
Hi all, first time poster here, please highlight any indiscretions or mistakes in etiquette and I will address them going forward (forgiveness is appreciated!). I have also asked this question on the Android Central forum a couple of days back but have had no response yet.
I have a Galaxy Tab S2 - 8.0 inch screen size, 3GB RAM, 32GB Storage, Android 7.0 (Kernel Version 3.10.9-10949424). It's been absolutely fine for over a year, the only recent thing I can recall doing which may have some relevance is removal of the Airwatch Software and Agent which my previous employer used to manage devices connecting to their corporate network. No AV software is installed.
I first noticed the issue when trying to browse one of the regular newspaper sites I read in Chrome, I got the "Your connection is not private message", with the "NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID". I am not able to proceed to the site - I just get the "back to safety" option.
The problem is more wide reaching, some apps that require internet access do not work any more, Google Play thinks it is not connected to the internet. Some web sites do work however, and so do some apps. A standard Google search will not work. E-mail via the stock app and the Outlook app both work.
I searched through many websites and found the same advice and steps to attempt resolution in a number of places, I will highlight below what I have tried.
Resetting the time, from automatic to manual and back on a number of occasions, with reboots in between.
Have tried connecting to 3 different WiFi networks, all of which work fine with other Android devices and my Win 10 laptop.
Rebooted my home router.
I have cleared the Chrome cache / history multiple times.
I tried the stock browser, the same happens.
Disabled Chrome, rebooted.
Re-enabled Chrome back to it's default version.
Installed the Toaster app via an apk, but I have to admit I have no idea what to do with it.
Rebooted multiple times.
There are no user installed certificates to delete / remove.
Under Settings->General Management->Reset, I went for Reset Settings and Reset network settings, with reboots etc...
None of the above have worked, the only thing I haven't done is a factory reset, to avoid the pain of restoring everything, even with backups etc it's tedious.
Any other suggestions or advice on anything I missed would be most welcome please before I take that step, many thanks in advance.
Peter
