[GB][2.3.4][BL Lock/Unlock] T0X1C ROM V8

Welcome XDA Community ! I present you my ROM, T0X1C ROM.
I spend much of my time to make this happen (about 2 monts), prevoius I develop a T0X1C MOD for LWW & Xperia Neo V (only published at polish android forum),
My ROM is developed for Xperia ARC, ARC S, NEO & at least NEO V.
T0X1C ROM based on:
Latest firmware for Xperia Neo V (.62), this is a system base,
Latest Xperia PLAY firmawe (.62), from this FW I take a PlayStation apps like a live wallpapers and PlayStation Pocket (certs too), PlayStation game has been tested by me and working without any problems (Crash Bandicoot from Xperia FW), even PSXperia games working
Latest firmawe for Xperia P/Sola/Go (.164) from this FW i take many apps, like a torch (GO), phonebook, facebook/timescape apps, meesage app, music player app, calendar, calculator etc. Almost every app form original FW has been replaced by newest from NXT Series.
Some other features:
- I added power menu (reboot to recovery, fastboot, normal reboot),
- Sounds/alarms taken from NXT series,
- SERAJR Launcher with 5x4 drawer and patched HDPI layout by me (I made some changes in config app too),
- Lidroid QuickSettings (every toogles working fine, even 2G/3G toogle),
- Static wallpapers (PNG) taken from newest Xperia P FW (ICS+GB resized for WFVGA),
- Some apps has been removed (bloatware like ANT service, Flash, Office) you can download it manualy and for free on Google Play,
- No scripts in init.d, only tweaks in build.prop,
- Very stable and fast (free RAM about ~ 250-260mb after first reboot),
- Apps from original FW are modified (PNG's and even strings) for maximum Xperia NXT look,
- Long press back button kill background apps (like in CM ROMS),
- NXT Lockscreen (witout installing aditional package) with settings and notifications,
- Live wallpapers from NXT Series (Cosmic Flow, Magic Forest, Earth),
- Modded camera app (better photo quality, and higher video bitrate),
- My implementation of Beats Audio (only few files for maximum audio quality and sound volume)
- Working ALSA + some tweaks in build.prop like a resampler etc,
- Skip track (in music app and radio) by volume rocker,
- Smooth scrooling,
- 30 step volume mod (for music, even on bluetooth headphone/s),
- Probably all widgets from NXT Series (I leave some stock widgets like Media Widget),
- Very good battery life,
- Some specific tweaks like a better touchscreen reaction, better voice quality incall, and many others ,
- Newest Google and Sony Apps,
- AdFree (by AdAway app),
- UI rendering by GPU,
- Optimized for everyday usage (because is stock like),
- Added support for init.d on locked BL,
- Bugfree ?
- Many others tweaks, and features that I forgot
Instalation is simple, flash a T0X1C_ROM_V8.zip, next choose a patch from T0X1C ROM (it resident on SDCARD after instalation of main system), odex is optional (but it can add aditional performance), recovery is only for locked BL. FULL WIPE IS REQUIRED ! (if you get a market errors like 927 or others make a second full wipe).
I suggest to use a .62 baseband or ICS (.72/.77).
I recommend a custom kernel (so you must unlock your xperia), I don't test my ROM on locked phones but it should work If you're using a .42 stock kernel you must update it to .62 or custom one.

- LT15i = Xperia Arc,
- LT18i = Xperia Arc S,
ROM is developed for polish user so instalation strings in recovery are in polish language, system is multilanguage

I'll try this soon, can't do just now as I'm on a 4.1 kernel and nowhere near a laptop/pc. Tried all firmwares and gb is still the fastest by far.

i think the rom is kinda xgamer with different background. Nothing new. Except the beats and alsa

+1 thanks. Now this is one of my favourite GB rom, using stock kernel, ram still possible to hit 235 is pretty good indeed.

Just one question, i'm on locked bl. So, can i flash .42 gb, root it, and than flash .62 firmware with flashtool to have root? I dont know how else, with pc companion i would upgrade to .587 ics...
And just one more question, can i flash only baseband with Locked BL?

I have tried alot of ROMS, but found this one to charge my Arc on Bootloader locked very fast than other ROMS.
Your ROM has Nice Themes compared to most GB ROMS here
Its really hard to choose between This ROM and X-Gamers.
For people who dont use facebook and the likes and want alot of Internal mem, i think X-Gamer is the choice. but those into social media, but still have good internal Memory of 280MB after installation, this ROM is number 1
Just to give people an insight to help them decide to install or Not
1. 270-280MB Of Internal Mem after Installation
2. 20-30MB of System ROM After Installation
3. 220-240MB RAM

Every kernel has its own wifi modules. Just flash it with cwm

xperia T improve wifi signal

troubleshooting the wifi signal in xperia T / TX / V phone and root system / etc / firmware / wlan / first
replace the modified file with WCNSS_qcom_cfg.ini then set file permissions in reading. Xperia T successfully tested.

Hi guys, this is a port of Sony Xperia firmware build 10.6.A.0.454 to Nexus 4. I ported the custimized 10.6.A.0.454 firmware from Xperia Z - eXistenZ Y
I've removed some apps as our system partition are too small
I did alot of changes for kernel, selinux and also adapt some files from nexus 4. At least it's booting for now. Video:
Why port from Xperia Z? Because Xperia Z have the same msm8960 board with nexus 4.

MTP (My computer seems to detect it. I think it will work if the system are able to detect the mount point of sdcard

I've removed Google Apps for now until the wifi / ril is fixed

A:- Its natural. That's called Stamina. It will decrease all system performance. But u can choose Settings/Battery/Stamina Mod ->Stamina Level -> Device Performance Preferred , to get some boost

A:- Yes. This rom has built in TWRP recovery. You can acces it by the following way.. Reboot ur phone , After seeing green or blue or orange led just press volume down button. Thats it..
Q:- Hi, anyway to include Xposed Framework in Aroma or Integrated to ROM ?
A:- Yea , i can. But Xposed Framework getting updated to every week or month.Like bug fixes or new updates. So its painful to add into Rom.

Ok so basically I just ported from z5 cutomised by nreuge it has bloatware and stuff removed

Just click next don't select or deselect anything on aroma
Then install @zacharias.maladroit kernel
Then reboot then install magisk
Then after magisk reboot
Check if safety net passes if it does voila if it don't
Search for magisk safety net patch on XDA for v13+ and install the zip should be version 2 I think then everything should work

Um ok then flash a regular z5 rom one that works then flash this one or if you that did not work.

Nice rom! Works like a charm.
I replaced Sony Contacts app for standard Google contacts app because of the Chinese symbols.
Also, apparently I cannot get Ok Google to work. The Google app has been installed, all permissions are set and tapping the mic icon works but voice command doesn't. Anyine know a fix!?

I replaced Sony Contacts app for standard Google contacts app because of the Chinese symbols.
Also, apparently I cannot get Ok Google to work. The Google app has been installed, all permissions are set and tapping the mic icon works but voice command doesn't. Anyine know a fix!?

To be honest mate it just might be a bug within the rom and I don't think it would matter to chinse people because Google would probably fail

Same here.
Advanced wipe: Data, all Caches and System Partition.
During install i get "error code 7"
EDIT: Tried different ROM combinations, also Stock-Rom. No success to install this ROM.

This is exactly what i tried today morning.
Installed XPERIA XZ2 Style Rom v2.8.9 and after that your Rom above... no dice -> Error 7

I dirty-flashed this ROM over the stock 32.4.A.1.54 firmware I was running on my UB E5823 phone. Despite some random reboots here and there, I'm keeping it. because, besides the good visual revamp it brings, I guess the battery lasts longer than on stock.. Thanks for having shared this ROM!
EDIT: This ROM is beautiful and its screen on time is good, but after some days with it I had to go back to the stock 32.4..1.54 firmware, because it was behaving extremely slow. It takes ages to boot up, it fails to detect taps every now and then, apps takes lots of seconds to be launched, Android usually reports them as not responding, and when they do, they take much time to read almost every tap I do. It's a real shame I had to go back stock again.
