I have an Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (9.7) and I have noticed two very small indicators (or LEDS????) at the very top of frame. I have yet to see them light up or flash or ????

Just near the Samsung logo? Light sensors (left) and front camera (right). You never read the owner manual and you still have a 3310 Nokia?

Nope - I know what those are.... Above the Samsung name in the frame of the tablet. They are definitely not a camera.
They are not in the glass front of the tablet. A picture might help -

Antennas, the Note 4 has the same except front and back.

Secret status LED?

Something I found while flashing some firmware on my C6603. The purple dot in the image is some sort of LED that's visible to my Nexus 7 2013's camera, but invisible to my eyes, and I caught it flashing while TWRP was busy with something. I've never seen it outside of flashing .zips.
No idea what it's for, but maybe somebody here can work out what it's for and whether it does anything useful to us.

Thats your proximity sensor. It's an infrared emitter and detector, invisible to the naked eye. When viewed through another camera it shows up as a light because a camera can see IR light.
Point your camera at the end of your TV remote and press a button on the remote. It will flash.

s view cover

Hello my friends
1) Is there s view cover for Galaxy Note 2, like s4, s4 mini and note 3?
2) Some people say that there is a s view cover on e-bay but it is not original from samsung
and that it is a fraud bacause it dosen't work.
no. because that case requires a special magnetic sensor in our phone which is only on s4 & note 3 ..... so s-view case is only works for n3 n s4

Thanks for this one. The other day saw one in a local shop, with a throw away price. Was just about to buy it, but something stopped me!!

Behold, the magnet inside the S View cover! (smallest rectangular piece that I accidentally cut through)

Where did this keyboard come from?!

This whole time I was upset that only the 10.1 had an official keyboard and I was settling for the amazon 'case' ones
then I randomly found this, its official. Seems like it was a Korea only release?

Errr.........Perhaps in the Accessories section?

Well the box image still shows a 10.5, so maybe it is an error?

No the 10.5 is the CT800, the 8.4 is the CT700
You'll find both if you google....but I'll be darned if I can find decent photo's (from a real user) anywhere of either one in use.
same as this one? http://www.amazon.com/Samsung-Keyboard-Galaxy-Titanium-EJ-CT800UAEGUJ/dp/B00LU2XHZ2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1415345830&sr=8-1&keywords=galaxy+tab+s+keyboard

That's the 10.5 version....
It's quite possible they are in fact the exact same keyboard, however until someone sees genuine user photos of both in action how could we know?
The nearest I've seen to a photo of the 8.4 beside the CT700 keyboard is this one....which is dotted around the web.

Unfortunately it has a much larger footprint than the tab itself.

In a way yes, this is the first generation of plastic OLED, and no it isn't exactly perfect. My screen is also a bit grainy.

I've gotten used to it. It is what it is. The overall speed and, for the lack of better description, joy, of using this phone, imho far outweighs the paper-like graininess of the display.
And I actually have come to enjoy the more 'natural feeling' it has. I look at my note 2 and it almost seems 'plastic' looking, if that's understandable at all.

Can't get hole punch notification light to work?

The stock EdgeLighting and I downloaded EdgeLighting+ and I still cannot get the camera hole punch notification light to work on either the outer or inner screens. I assume the correct option would be "Eclipse" but when I press it nothing happens?

I'm using Always On Edge from the Play Store.
I've used it on past few galaxy models and it works really well, minimal impact to battery life.
Settings can be a bit tricky but it's easy enough to work out. I've raised a few issues with the dev and he always responds and sorts it really quickly. At the minute I can only get it working on either the front or inside screen, not both at the same time due to the camera placement. I've contacted dev to see if that would be something he could implement.
Use the app called Aod Notify. Perfect app.
