No, how to do this?? is there any risk of hard brick?
No just find the baseband file and flash it on flashtool
Sent from my X8 using xda app-developers app
i recommend to you to start from scratch, 2.1, root, flash baseband, install busybox, install CWM recovery, the full wipe and flash rom, you can flash the baseband with flashtool, and i think there is no risk, i have done it several times, the baseband xxxx15 is required to flash custom roms.

If you have installed gingerdx there is no need to flash baseband xxx15 because you already have it!

[Q] Installing JellyMod

I apologies If I'm posting in the wrong section, I literally just signed up. I've rooted my device and have got the jellymod file downloaded, however I've looked at some tutorials (couldn't find one specifically for I9070) and they say to use ROM manager with clockwork mod however it seems my model isn't supported so I'm quite stuck, help please!

Do NOT use rom manager...can result in a brick. After you've rooted, install a custom kernel with custom recovery and then just flash the jellymod using custom recovery after placing it in the ext sd card..
Follow this guide

Go with CoCore..the same which is in the guide.. i believe that is 5.0 version.. you can update it later to 5.6 or 6.0 if you want to..
Edit- the link is to the main cocore thread.. so you can go ahead and install the latest i.e 6.0 with either twrp or cwm recovery..

How do I install CWM and keep stock ROM?

I installed a CWM Recovery and it deleted my stock ROM so I decided to go and install PAC ROM which I found the WiFi doesn't work so I used Sony's flashtool to go back to stock ROM.
I want to be able to make a backup of the stock ROM then install another ROM such as CM

I'm not sure what you did, but installing a recovery shouldn't affect your rom.
In any case, XZDualRecovery is what you need.

Is it so hard to search here? Go to the last page for the download links. The rom can be flashed with custom recovery.
