Which build u r using old or new?
Can someone confirm if gps is working on build 1?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Latest build from 2015-10-14 with 5.1 gapps. Clean flash of course from another ROM.

Well not so smooth for me I waited like 5-10 mins in the flash screen ( TWRP 2.8.6.1 ) and then gave up. Used the last 1014 build.
EDIT: Going to redownload and give it another try.

Pleasantly surprised that you set selinux to permissive in the new build, now exposed works like a charm. Thanks.

Does GPS work for you in this build? And if yes what did you do to make it work. Thanks

thanks for reporting
any other bug guys?

For me, enabling HW+ in MX results in no video playback, which seems to affect YouTube as well.
Without enabling it, video plays fine.

New build is up . Flash and report
mobile data and some other bugs fixed

I just installed your ROM + open gapps pico on a clean flash with twrp 2.8.6.1
Everything is working except the MMS with stock app but it works with google messenger.
I tried to install boeffla sound app but your kernel doesn't support it.
Therefore as I saw that selinux was set to enforcing, I decided to install Archikernel to get benefit of boeffla sound. It works.
I did untutu benchmark :
Stock kernel 25300 (default settings)
Archikernel 28900 (default settings + touchwake enabled)
It looks like phone function is working fine without any delay but need time to be sure.
Xposed v75 sdk22 arm installed and working with my modules without any troubles.
I will try GPS tomorrow.
Good job mate. Thanks.

Please Report about GPS working? thanks in advance

So no issues at all in this latest build? (Except that MMS that you noted)
Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

I didn't noticed any other issue. Now I'll try the GPS in few minutes and I will report.
Edit: one issue that I forgot to report but I guess it's from slimlp source about the launcher. When I press home button, it switches always between page0 and homepage. Not a big deal anyway.
Also, I forgot a detail which is important for some of us regarding the flash light. The torch is not switching off when the screen turn off. Good point in my opinion.
---------- Post added at 07:02 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:23 AM ----------
And the sad news is that the gps is not working. Setting selinux to permissive will not do much. It's a "no go" for me at the moment. I need working GPS. I will try next build if problem is solve.

I will try to fix gps in next build

CAF has added support for FM radio and Bluez. Maybe they won't do it this time.
Anyway, camera and Wi-Fi are not working. So the build will be delayed.

I don't think that anyone will use it ,until the wifi is currently not working ,but for testing ,uhm I don't know about ,maybe you could use the CM10.2 for developers (Development section goo.im) but I don't even think that these builds will be for daily use , so just wait for the most stability

Why would you want such an unsable build? Most of the stuff isn't even working yet. Let OP stabilize this build first. Also OP, can you add in this build the ability to put the clock in the middle of the status bar? Or the ability to disable the bootscreen for a faster boot? Or the ability to change the status bar opacity?

since we'll now be working with bluedroid unlike the blueZ we used in CM10/10.1?

Focal already got removed from CM sources by cyanogenmod.
There will be no focal inside official builds too.
Focal now only available via PlayStore
Already tested some focal builds on cm10.1 and it works.
Too bad that PlayStore says its incompatible with the device

[/COLOR @iyahman thanks for your rom :thumbup::thumbup:
What a pleasant surprise @iyahman ! Shall download and test tomorrow morning! Huge thanks for your efforts!
So I finished testing this build on my unit and sadly I had the same problems I had with epicboy Lollipop builds. I am a Straight Talk (AT&T) user and the following issues are happening to my unit:
- No mobile data: Yes, I've selected the correct APNs, rechecked, reentered the APN, toggled mobile data off/on, same with Airplane Mode, rebooted several times and nothing. This issue does not exist for me in earlier Android versions 4.4 and below.
- Corrupts internal storage: As soon as it boots, a new undeletable DCIM (or another title) folder with strange symbols appears. This also happens using the provided TWRP custom recovery as evidenced in the attached image after a format. This forces me to ODIN the device, format using a Samsung ROM then only use CM derived ROMs which don't corrupt my device's internal storage.
These two things force me to stay with CM11. I recognize the hacky nature of the Lollipop builds and these issues may or may not ever be fixed for my unit, so, again, thanks for your efforts, iyahman.
Here are some screenshots. I really love ambient display feature. When I go out and wondering whats the time just put out the phone and shake it show me the time and all notifications. And this build is really smooth change data to F2FS and feel. Thank you man @iyahman

Shout-out to @GHsR for updating the patches
Additionally, Dual SIM has the following limitations (once they work):
Both SIMs are always enabled (no way to disable one SIM)
"Receive incoming call while data is enabled" is always enabled
Installation
Make a backup!
If you were on CM 10.1 or a stock ROM prior to 4.2, upgrade to stock 4.2 first.
Install ClockworkMod recovery with SELinux support. Older CWM will result in a "status 7" error.
Reboot into recovery
If you are using a recovery which mounts /system on boot, unmount it before installing
Wipe data if coming from stock or other ROMs (You may get a "status 7" error if you fail to wipe.)
Install the ROM
Optionally install the Google Apps Addon (In Marshmallow, you MUST flash gapps before booting into the system for the first time or else the proper permissions will not be granted resulting in Setup Wizard crash. If you experience the crash, you will need to do a factory reset.)
To upgrade to a newer build, simply flash the zip. There's no need for data wipe or flashing Google Apps again. (However, if you are experiencing strange issues, you may want to try a wipe.)

great rom. thank you
Great work
Awesome work @osas514 can't expect nothing more!!! Respect for #hardwork and #patience!!! :fingers-crossed:
thank you very much for the rom.
Thanks for your hard work.......
We like it......
Booting process completed very smooth. No issues while setting up the device for first use. Mobile calls, data, sms and Wi-Fi are working without any issues.
Installed every app that I use in my daily life. Everything is working superb except the issues mentioned in known issues section.
No app fc and no random reboots.
No one expects more than this from the first build and we are glad to get CM14 with Android 7.0 where many other big devices can't even guess the chances.
@osas514, thanks for this awesome ROM.
Except for some random freezes, the build is absolutely solid .
Greaaat workkk! Thanks !
:good::good::good:
Yeeeeaaayyy!!! Great work, dev! ????
How is the battery performance ?
I did a clean install and got stuck at the cyanogen head boot screen forever. I did a clean install of cm13 1012 and same thing happened. I had to go back to cm13 0912
I use twrp
Edit: problem solved! do NOT wipe system, just wipe dalvik, cache, and data.
Awesome ROM!

thanks dev for giving a new life to our device.
Nice job @osas514, well done, although I already knew you had compiled and made cm14 well before but I had really like others to know that what Osas and devs like me are doing isn't quite so easy job, I know u may have gone through many guides n stuff about compiling ROMs but that's just basic of what goes on into compiling a ROM, the amount of time and patience required to develop a ROM is quite a lot specially when u face errors while compiling, so hearty thanks to Osas for bringing cm and huge shout out to @GHsR for making the device tree and kernel of grand compatible with Nougat, soon expect other custom ROMs from my side too(if time permits)!!!!

Sorry but the issues of touch were as a result of improper rooting. My realisation is that if phone is not properly rooted, it can misbehave in several ways.

Could you explain more please?
because as far as I know, it is properly rooted but when you use the phone after a fresh install the Magisk SU gets a little weired but, after a while it works fine.

Sorry @Ahmed_Khalifa. I should have talked about my phone. I am always forced to re-root any ROM which is pre-rooted for this reason. I don't know if anyone else has had such a situation like mine but my phone always requires that I re-root it. Moreover, I have personal issues with magiskSU because it does not root my phone completely and am unable to use certain apps that I always need. Hence as can be seen from the screenshot I earlier sent, I have to combine magisk and superSU. For me I have no need for safety net. For instance, after following my usual procedure of rooting fully (as I would call it), the rom has no more issues and i can now use it as i want.Thanks.
