Flashing a custom rom - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S 5

So, I got a Galaxy s5 AT&t (G900A), and i want it deodexed, but since theres no custom recovery for it i wanted to flash a rom like twi5ted lolipop, would this be possible with a locked bootloader still?
Edit: By the way im on 5.0 lollipop

No. If you can't root you can't flash.

[Q] CyanogenMod for AT&T Galaxy S5?

I read somewhere that you aren't able to flash the CyanogenMod Rom onto the AT&T Galaxy S5 because of the locked bootloader, is this correct? Also, does anyone know of any way around this? Why can't you just flash CyanogenMod with Safestrap?
we can only flash touchwiz roms with safestrap. if and when the bootloader gets unlocked only then can we flash custom kernals, and aosp/aokp roms and CM.

should i take the updates?

alright so i have a tmobile z that is still on the stock 4.2.2 firmware. not rooted or messed with at all. im wondering, should i take the latest update? will it make getting root or unlocking the bootloader harder...just looking for some thought and insight. tyically im all for rooted and rom'd phones. something nice about being stock...
tell me what you think!
thanks
Can't unlock boot loader so no custom Roms. Unless something has changed that I don't know about

You can root your device with an app called Towelroot. Then install SuperSU from Play Store. Then install NUT dual recovery. Then flash prerooted 4.4.4 ROM. Now you will get rooted 4.4.4 ROM with dual recovery. But you cannot unlock your bootloader because it's locked from your carrier and cannot be unlocked.
any roms you recommend?

[Q] How to update from stock 4.4.4 rooted to 5.0.x with root ?

Hi all,
I have my N910F 4.4.4 rooted, so no OTA update,
Whats the best way to update to stock Lollipop 5.0.2 without losing root ?
Is it possible to install the Stock ROM via philz recovery ?
I have never install stock Roms via costume recovery.
Not sure if I lost root on this process

I Would Suggest Looking Around In The Snapdragon Note 4 forum you'll likely find something there Most T-Mobile Note 4's are the N910T and not the N910F, N910F is for the international Snapdragon variant. Hope this helps.
Ooooha right thanks for the head-up

Can I use Safestrap and Xposed on my (AT&T G900A) Galaxy S5?

I originally had KitKat 4.4.2 rooted using towelroot, but I got tired of the ugly TouchWiz UI and wanted to try Lollipop. I successfully used the FlashFire method and flashed a pre-rooted Lollipop OF3 Stock ROM (DeOdexed) and I am using the OA1 Bootloader (I believe it's KitKat) which I flashed with Odin.
I would like to use Safestrap to flash the .zip required to use Xposed on Lollipop. I read that to get safestrap somewhat functioning, you have to flash a stock kernal to get it to boot into safestrap, flash your .zip, then flash another kernal to ensure that the phone actually boots after using safestrap.
I can't find a straightforward answer as to what kernals I should be using to do this for my specific phone and if it is even possible. I will list my phone's details below.
Thank you!
-AT&T Samsung Galaxy S5 G900A
-Lollipop 5.0 (Pre-rooted OF3 Stock ROM)
-G900A OA1 Bootloader (KitKat bootloader?)

You can just use flashfire to install the xposed zip. Just make sure you're flashing the one for Samsung phones by arter97.
This is the one i use:
Xposed modules on G900A_OF2 - 5.0
is DeOdexed required for this - is it possible with non-DeOdexed?
Thank you

Flash ATT S5 to Tmobile

Can I flash a rooted Galaxy S5 with OF3 baseband version to Tmobile stock ROM by using Odin? I keep hearing that ATT Galaxy S5 has a locked bootloader but how does that stop it from using Odin to flash my own modem and baseband. Is it not possible?
I found all the modem, baseband, and ROMs for Tmobile at this location.

Update: bought the phone full price 1.5 years ago so does that mean I have a locked bootloader or can I install any custom ROM?

No you can not flash the T mobile bootloader. Odin can flash a bootloader if the bootloader is unlocked only. Yes your OF3 has a locked bootloader as this phone has always had it locked and no one has been able to unlock it. No you can not install any custom rom. If you want a T mobile rom you will most likely need to port it to your phone (no i don't know how) best to stick with AT&T roms if you don't know how to port.

@Rakuu i started to put it back on my phone but not sure if i wanna deal worth the trouble shooting of a lot of things again. Did you ever get it running smooth on the 900a? My 900t needs a new screen right so I've been running my 9p0a on TMS5 3.0.

I was running it for a while, but I switched to tms5 as well, can't remember exactly why but I think I was having issues with xposed. Couldn't live without the darkness theme though so I kinda 'ported it'(decompiled the systemui and stuff and used tms5 apks as base).

I've been running both TMS5 and Twi5ted for a while (Android 5.0). I've had on-going annoying issues with both. TMS5 freezes quite often, and Twi5ted will randomly reboot. Is there a way to install (Odin) a stock Rom (i.e. from here) and stay rooted, or flash one and re-root? If so, could I install the 5.1.1 version or stay on 5.0? I just realized as well that, with Twi5ted being based on TMobile, it shows my model number as G900T vs. the original G900A.
Thanks.
