Has anybody found a good pouch or slip cover? I like to use my phone naked but with a pouch to protect it from scratches in my pocket.
I've looked. I've used a sena case before, they're nice. But they and melko are always late making stuff. I refuse to put my sim in until I get a pouch of flip case. I have yet to find one.

I usually get the black neoprene ones with the android printed on them for like $5 on eBay direct from China. Been searching but nothing Nexus 5X sized yet.

Anyone found a good leather pouch the fits the phone snug ? There are many on the market but its difficult to see what will fit until after you have bought it.

anyone tried the HTC C310 ? it doesn't look like a good fit to me as its generic for too many phones
I received one of the black PDAIR leather pouches today. Fits nicely, but is a bit tight. I think it's gonna take a few weeks use to loosen it up. Nice product though.
It doesn't have any cloth interior like I expected it to, it's just leather inside. Not a big deal though.
I was after something like the official Diamond pouch, and this is similar, but maybe a bit thicker than I'd have liked.
I'll try to get a picture up if I can.

As I use my HD2 with a gel case, I can't use a normal leather case which are to tight to fit my HD2. I found on ebay a seller who will make a custom case with the dimensions of my HD2 with gel case. Besides the dimensions of your phone you can customize your case in different ways, even with your own words engraved.
I didn't have to pay more then the normal price for a leather case for a HD2.
I think this could be very useful info for everyone who has a gel skin on his HD2. Ordered mine today and will give feedback when my case arrives.

I ordered this case and wasn't impressed. First one wasn't done with the right cutouts so they sent a second one. The belt clip on the second one wasn't tight around my belt and just kept falling off. Pretty much just gathering dust in my desk now.

Just received my leather case today. It's well made and a perfect fit. I've chosen the wider belt clip, it is holding tight on my belt, so no problems concerning the problems mentioned above. I think this leather case will not gathering dust in my desk.
This seller is also the only place so far as I know that makes custom leather cases from given dimensions.

I would advice you to at least buy 2 case.
1. Foldable leather case with at least 2 landscape standing position groove
This one for premium feel & function outing.
2. Left, right & back protected transparent hard plastic case
This one for light & casual outing.
I'd also recommend the Zenus case, which isn't on the list. I got mine last month, and am pretty pleased with it. It's leather and adds some thickness, but it still fits in my coat pocket, but not most of my jeans' back pockets. I may break down and get a lighter one late Spring, or might just carry it around naked.

The Zenus is a very well made case, it looks classy and isn't bulky, doesn't cover any of the screen and the stand on it is solid and works well. I'm very pleased with the purchase, unlike the stock Samsung case which is quite poorly designed.

otterbox case after a few drops i still love it.
I absolutely loathe cases where you have to slide the Phone/Tab into.
Not only are they difficult to put in and remove the device but they obstruct part of the screen and when you are swiping the leather edges can get in the way.
I much prefer the type that allows you to 'clip the Tab into place.
This method is easy to insert/remove and does not restrict the screen in any form.
Noreve do one (see here fore link) ~ This one has the added advantage of additional pockets for cards, notes, etc. and can be used as a stand to hold the Tab in Landscape.
Plus you can design the case to your own liking.
However, it's missing one vital ingredient for me and that is I would like to be able to remove the leather part that covers the screen.
I've seen cases where the case comes apart allowing you to remove the top screen cover which in turn makes it easier to hold and use the Tab when standing and if you put it down and want the screen on but not in it's stand you don't have a top cover flap hanging off at the side.
So... anyone seen a case similar to the Noreve but has a detachable screen cover?

It's an interesting design and as always the Apple brand gets the 'prettiest' of designs.
Not sure about that release mechanism though.... I'd rather have the top cover come completely off thus ensuring the sides and back are still protected.
Scosche Foldio is the best, no added bulk, easy to put in jacket pocket, even in a the back pocket of my jeans, easy to take out and show off if needed and makes an awesome stand.
I really like the Samsung Slide Release Sleeve. It protects the tab well but lets you get it out easily to use it. The Tab is a sexy device, no sense having it hidden away all the time!
I also have the "d30" leather travel case (from Carphone Warehouse) which is really nice for travelling (makes a good stand) but unfortunately it partially covers the soft buttons which can make it a pain to use.
I just received my ' Case Mate - Barely There '.
It is exactly what i was looking for. Not scared to place it on the table or sunroom floor anymore in case of scratching the back. I think the tab looks excellent in its all new black look
Now hopefully it will fit in the Brodit holder for my van

Hi XDA! I am looking for my PERFECT case/smartcover for the Nexus 7.
So the official Nexus 10 has a smart cover that is incorporated into the "rubber feet" on the back. Today, while walking through a mall, I saw these Blackberry Z10 smartcovers that are incorporated into the battery door.
Do you know of a case that is similar for the N7?

The back has never needed any protection so these folio cases are pointless....it's the front that always has, and a bumper of sorts with the smartcover built in would be ideal
Exactly. The N7 is pretty bulky as is, dont need an extra layer in the back.

I have a moko cover that's pretty sweet. Its a portfolio case that let's you stand it in landscape to use with a Bluetooth keyboard or just to watch videos.

Similar to the Blurex cases.
I've tried lots of cases. I DID like the Blurex/Moko style. However it did add a considerable amount of thickness. I also tried the Poetic case, which is a slim hard back plastic case with a smart case attached. It worked pretty well and latches shut at the end to keep closed. The Poetic case is the best case I've found for a smart cover type protection.
I eventually settled on a hardback book case. It is stylish and gives it a little more protection. The lid stays closed with a strap but some include wood shells with magnets. I opted for the cheapest solution and find it very good. In fact it has held up very well. The tablet is held in by sticky tape. I've owned mine for months and never had it fall out or need to be cleaned/restuck.

So iPAD mini like smart covers isn't available for the N7 ? I too just need a lightweight smart cover only to protect the screen and not the back and was wondering if something like poetic slimline exists?

The iPad Smart Covers uses many magnets around the edge of the screen to keep the flappy flap tight against the surface. Others just use one side of magnets at the edge of the closing point.
Very good price too. I purchased mine for $20, but it is showing $9.95 at Amazon right now.
The Poetic was nice and I liked it but out of the 4-5 months I owned it, I had to replace it 3 times because the material would break at the seams. Poetic has a 3yr warranty and replaced it hassle free by just emailing them my Amazon order number. Because they are so cheap, they don't even bother wanting the old one returned... so while they were falling apart, other N7 owners didn't mind a free slightly worn case.

Yea. In doing the research and finding that video, I noticed the different colors. When they first came out they only had black. I'd almost wouldn't mind picking up a baby blue or red one.

After so much of research with matching my requirements, I just couldnt find an alternative to Poetic Slimline case. Looks like it isnt available in my country (India) which is not cheap option.
Any idea if there's any similar chinese ones or replica? Have seen few smart covers from China on Ebay but they have the problem of turning off the screen when cover is flipped around.

I've heard good things about the Nillkin smart-wake cases. While the case covers both the front and back, the folding section does not, which makes it a bit slimmer (Hard to explain, take a look at the link for a picture). Apparently these cases don't suffer from the waking issue when folded backwards, either.

As above, looking for a leather pouch that is a good(not too tight) fit for the edge
Must either have a pull strap to get the phone out (and be a reasonably tight fit so it doesn't fall out)
or
Must be a sensible fit with a flip magnetic clip to hold the phone from falling out
