Reactivation lock - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Does anyone find reactivation lock option under security on note 5?
I'm using SM-N9200.

+1 i cant find it

I did hard reset on my note 5 and when i was setting it up, i notice that it asked me for a gmail account use previously before the hard reset.
Also samsung didn't add reactivation lock to the note 5.
Has anyone notice the google reactivation lock on note 5?

Samsung took out the reactivation lock but as long as you are currently logged into a Gmail account your phone will ask you for that account info. Unfortunately at this time it is not bulletproof but I for think Samsung's was either.

No!!

How do I bypass it asking for the Gmail account info?

Can't turn turn off Reactivation lock

Hello,
I'm trying to sell my S5 and of course I will need to disable reactivation lock in order to completely wipe the device and the Samsung account, but the checkbox in settings simply will not uncheck. I click the checkbox, enter my correct passcode, it accepts the passcode, and the checkbox is still checked when I return to the security screen.
Stock everything, unrooted, untampered. I have full access to the Samsung account that's associated with the device, the correct account name and password. I've tried removing the account entirely, multiple factory restores, reflashing with Odin, etc... I just can't disassociate my account and this device. It's proving to be a huge pain because it's useless to anyone but me without this working out. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for reading.
Thought I seem in SS in wipe section that it takes encryption stuff off the device.

Just Reset the device give it to the new owner when it asks for your samsung account login for him have him setup the device and delete your samsung account when its dont have him add his own Samsung account andturn on Reactvation Lock.
Try to reset for good measure and see if it will accept his info and not yours.

Is there a way to enable pattern lock with Exchange account setup on the Nexus 6?

When I add an Exchange account to my phone, the device administrator that is forced by corporate policy disables the pattern lock option. It forces me to set a password or PIN, both of which I dislike. I came to the N6 from HTC One, where I used to get around this issue by installing an Xposed module to bypass Exchange security, and then set the pattern lock which at that point was optional. With the N6 we don't have Xposed yet, so I am wondering is there any other way to get the pattern lock as a possible option? I am rooted and have TWRP installed, running the latest 5.0.1 build.
Thanks

[Q] Can't add Samsung Account after disabling app

I disabled the Samsung Account app yesterday and then realized today that the Theme Store wasn't updating, nor could I download new themes. So I re-enabled it but I still am unable to download themes or even add a Samsung account from the Accounts page in Settings. I also found this thread documenting the same problem.
Any solutions, other than a Factory Reset?
Googling your problem leads me to believe that a factory reset might be the only solution. AoN

I have exactly the same problem. Now there is Dark Theme in Theme Store and I can't download it! :crying:
I've enabled all disabled app, but still can't add or activate Samsung account. Do you think they make it to be so for a reason?
Please someone help! Factory reset is the last option here.

There's no easy solution that I've found. The simplest is to just do a Factory Reset, which really wasn't nearly as painful with Lollipop as I expected. I just backed up my Pictures, DCIM, and Downloads folder to my computer, backed up my texts with SMS Backup & Restore, and factory reset, using the new app device restore function when you set it up again.
Guys, i have the same issue. Did several full wipes/factory reset but still i'm unable to login with samsung account, it does nothing when i try to add the account.
- after i do a full factory reset i don't even get the Samsung account popup at first boot. After i put in the google account and try adding the samsung account manually it just does nothing and goes back to the previous screen. Everything related to samsung account is not functional.
I've had the phone for just a few days, bought as new, and i can't use this! I think i'll send it back for warranty, as it's really annoying!
Tried deleting my old samsung account/recreating it, but same issue.

Had the same problem, more specifically: reactivation lock was on (but greyed out), Samsung account was missing in the active accounts list, but trying to add it did nothing, just returned to the active accounts list screen. Also unable to sign-in to Gear apps, etc.
I solved it this way, no factory resed needed (Note 4, latest stock FW):
Went to backup & reset
Choose "factory data reset"
Tapped "reset device"
Entered backup password (don't know if it makes any difference, but I used the password from my Samsung account)
Then it asked me to login to Samsung account, which I did.
Cancelled the "reset wizard"
voila!
I didn't perform factory reset, but the Samsung account is now back in active acounts list and i'm able to use GearApps and other stuff that depends on it.
Also able to control reactivation lock.
Good luck!
The factory reset menu does indeed allow you to add your Samsung Account back in! Good catch...
MarsRover that finally worked for me too. Thanks!
Btw, the problem started after I changed the email address for my Samsung account on their website. Within moments I received a ghost notice on my phone saying 'this account is no longer valid, please log in somethingsomething..'
I want to download themes on my themes store on my sumsung galaxy s6 but the feedback is my sumsung account is disabled so l should go to enable it on application manager to add sumsung account but l see no sumsung account on my application manager to add please any help am stressed out

Axon Pro Security issues

Hi guys surely this is an easy fix but I can't seem to find it. I have been using a pattern lock on my phone quite some time but now I would like to go back to none but now for some reason it's not an option for me. I have tried clearing credentials, and removing guest profile and it still saying the same thing. Can anyone help me out?
Are you using company email? After I added my company Outlook email account, I'm forced to use pattern/pin/password lock. This can't be disabled otherwise than removing exchange/Outlook account.
