Working !!
Works perfectly on Samsung SHV-E120S . There is a boot issue with CWM and this ROM , so install the given TWRP Recovery and you are good to go ! . The first boot may take up to 5-10 minutes, so be patient.

@kushantha7 - Hello. Can you please give me a link for the twrp that you use? I cant seem to find twrp recovery for e120s model.
@iistoryahi - About ROM. I used cwm recovery 6.0.1.9. Device always reboots and wifi wont turn on. Maybe i have used wrong recovery. Done full wipe (wipe data, cache, dalvik-cache, format system) before installing.
Please help. Thanks in advance!
Sorry for my bad english.

bluetooth not turning on
Installed given. Recovery, wipe cache, dalvik, whole system and install rom. After bootup, welcome screen bluetooth share always saying bluetooth share stopped. I tried to rewipe the entire mobile and reinstall the rom but no luck for bluetooth. Still not turning on and Bluetooth share always stopping.
Any solutions? Thanks.

What was wrong ? Mini CM9 on Xperia X8

Hi everybody,
I tried yesterday to flash my phone with the new mini CM9 + nAa 04 kernel... It did not work resulting in a soft brick.
I solved this problem by flashing back to the stock rom + kernel using flashtool. My device is now working as before.
After many unfruitful research on the forum, i'm forced to ask you what wrong did I do...
My phone was (and is) configured as follow :
Kernel : stock 2.6.2.9
Rom : Android 2.1
Base Band Version : M76XX-TSNCJOLYM-53404015
Built : 2.1.1.C.0.0
Rooted
Bootloader : unlocked
Today I installed xRecovery (which is not needed if I use the Kernel E15_nAa-ics-04_2.6.29.6-nAa-ics-04).
Is it problematic if I want to use the mini CM9 rom ?
How did I do :
I started by flashing the kernel using flashtool and with the latest version kernel E15_nAa-ics-04_2.6.29.6-nAa-ics-04.
The manipulation was successful and kernel was working well.
Then, after having backed up all my settings, apps, contacts, rom and wiped off the data factory settings, I started to flash the rom with CWM (the rom had been stored before on my SD card).
Once the installation finished, the phone reboot... and reboot .... and reboot, etc...
It was only able to display the nAa kernel screen (boot loop), but nothing more.
Finally, I flashed it back to stock version to use it again... OUff
I was a bit scared by the idea of having a hard brick but finally it was just a soft brick.
What do you think about my experience ? I know many of you think that people who do not have necessary skills to do it should not do it ^^ but I want to learn and to make my phone a bit more flexible and fast.
Thank you in advance !

Your hardware and software seems alright to me.
Steps: Don't bother about xRecovery. From stock 2.1...
Root again
Flash nAa-ics kernel
Install MiniCM9 and Gapps from first post of MiniCM9 thread
FULL WIPE -- YOU MUST DO THIS
WIPE DALVIK-CACHE TOO

Hi,
Thanks for your replies.
So I don't understand what was wrong as I completely wiped the system prior to flash the Rom.
I proceeded exactly like that :
1.Wipe data factory
2.Wipe cache
3.Wipe dalvik-cache
4.Format system
5.Format cache
6.Format data
7.Rom installation
8.Flash Gapps
I think I have done all the necessary steps to make it working ...
I was maybe not enough patient after installation ?
I'm going to try again today (now I know how to recover from a soft brick ).
Thank you all again.

NO ROMS??? Look here, there are minimum 4-5 custom roms. Ya, but what driver had you use? And how can you support this topic if you don't know exacttly if this rom works or not?
EDIT: download link don't work
I thought pure CM7 ROMs. There are ONLY stock-based ROMs. I know it's working(meaning: it can boot)
EDIT: I use drivers provided by broadcom and some libs from samsung stock rom's. And download link works
I will wait until someone will test it. If wifi and 3G works I will boot it up. TNX
EDIT:
1) maiby some ss.
2) Maiby is just my problem if download links don't work.
If you click on download link, what you see?
Download is here: http://d-h.st/o5k

When I click on the DOWNLOAD BUTTON from that page, the page don't load and the download don't start. I will restart my PC ( maiby is from my internet provider or from my antivirus software ).
EDIT: if something don't work you can fix it? I mean if I report here that wifi or camera don't work, you can fix it?
I can fix it, but if you need fixed build, someone must test it and report bugs.
I just installed it into my device.
First impresions:
It don't boot up. I receive boot loop.
EDIT: can you post a small tutorial of how to boot it up?

Download a terminal emulator from play store, open it and you will read something like "[email protected]:/ $".
Now type "su" without quotes then press enter. Grant the root access (you have to enable root for apps on developer settings first, but I guess you already did this step before if you succeded on installing v4a driver).
The prompt will change and you'll see "[email protected]:/ $". You are now using the terminal as root user.
Now you can type "setenforce 0" and press enter. You will see no output except another line of prompt ("[email protected]:/ $") but your SELinux is now set to permissive and v4a should work.

No problems here using TWRP and wiping all partitions before flashing CM (except external SD) with nano Open Gapps. Also try pulling out battery for some time (2-3 min). Looks like useless, but it is known to fix some weird things.
External SD card is not properly recognized. I can access it using RootExplorer, but applications don't see it.
The card is listed under storage just with its card Name (xxxx-xxxx), but not as "Storage1" like before.

[ROM][AOSP][Q]Basic Android 10 AOSP Rom with gapps

hey everyone
I have created a custom rom for you guys that you can flash using ODIN because there is no TWRP Development on the device yet since TWRP doesnt support Super Parititon right now.
Code:
*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
*/
How to flash:
1. Go into download mode on your device
2. Open up ODIN and choose the AP File
3. Flash it.
4. Boot into recovery so you can factory reset
5. It may restart a couple times, let it do that.
6. Now you should be able to use AOSP
Comes with gapps!!

Hey it works fine for me. You can try flashing the latest XAR firmware and try that. I went back to stock and then flashed it. Make sure you go into recovery mode nad factory data reset. After that it should reboot twice. Its gonna reboot to the white logo then its gonna go black and reboot again then wait. its suppose to reboot a few times anyways.
Rom is working great for me. No issues I can see. Great work

I tried it several times, but without succes. My tablet (P610) stays in bootloop and is not booting.
I tried it with and without cleaning cache and with and without factory reset.
Went back to stock ROM.

I have the same version and same issue as well. Even after flashing the XAR version of the stock rom or/and a blank vbmeta.

Are you fladhing it using the AP Slot? What version of Odin are you using? The kernel is based on an Euro kernel so i dont know why it wouldnt work. Make sure your vbmeta is stock vbmeta.

I tried is several times after a clean install of latest stock firmware.
I used official Odin 3.14 and patched Odin, and tried it several times with factory reset in advance and after flashing AOSP image.
But without succes, tablet doesn't boot and restarts every 15-20 seconds.
For now i stick to rooted stock firmware with some tweaks.
Did anybody try to install TWRP for A51 via adb?
I found this: https://www.droidthunder.com/install-twrp-recovery-on-galaxy-a51/
The A51 has the same cpu as Galaxy Tab S6 lite, so maybe it will work.
