On 19 Oct, Infinix has rolled out lollipop upgrade for their Infinix Zero X506 (another Xolo 8x-1000 clone). I tested and the rom worked almost perfect.
There is only one problem. Infinix Zero has 13 megapixels camera but Xolo 8x-1000 has 8 megapixels one. Therefore, the rom can not connect to front camera. Front camera can't be used even if I have tried downloading google camera. Can someone HELP ME or TEACH ME port camera from KITKAT rom to LOLLIPOP rom and fix the camera issue?
I am so close to have lollipop rom for my Xolo 8x-1000.

Hello there folks! I just got a Z1 and I'm looking for ROM recommendations... If possible a ROM with camera2 support... As the device is both old and popular, there is a lot of ROMs, and I tried some, but the newer ones seems to have some buggy camera support.
Any help, info, tip or info is greatly appreciated!
use slim rom 5.1.1 or cm 12.1 both uses 20 mp of the device
but to get best results stock rom wins
for using camera use stock rom or dstrikerz1 kai

Even I m missing the stock camera. I'm searching for this from the last few days.
Please for any Vanilla Rom like Pure Nexus or CyanogenMod/Lineage OS
I search for a modded camera who support the Snapdragon 652 like the x520 Phone's (International)- the Cyanogenmod Camera App works horrible also the Google Camera.

So I want to update my 701T with the most current ROM out there.
Once requirement...it must have working camera. I see that KatKiss 7.1 claims the camera does not work.
Is there another ROM 6.0 or greater out there with working camera?
