Lonson Alejandrino, Cherry Mobile’s Product Manager for Smartphones has confirmed that the Marshmallow update will begin rolling out to One G1 owners by Nov 2. If everything goes according to plan, at least 50% of One G1 owners should have already gotten the update by Nov. 5, and by Nov. 10 the OTA rollout should reach all of the One G1 devices in the PH.

They're using the same source, yes but from my observations of the OTAs, they're compiled separately/independently which is why the resulting OTA patches look for different SHA1 values during the patch verification stage.

I'm using stock rom with root. In few days Europe devices get 4.3 update. I wonder could I get ota update. If not, how can I get?

you have to be on stock rom (no root) and stock recovery to get the update

Seems nobody tried that
Currently running May security patch attempting to update to the July security patch but it just keeps on failing to install. Roughly 20gb left on internal storage. At first though I had issue due to home screen disabled and cause of pixel bridge and pixel launcher but even after uninstall and reenable and still nothing. Frustrating part is that getting into recovery only shows no command and all the button combinations won't get it up. Also have to reboot to recovery through adb on cmd because I can never get it with hardware buttons. Anyone else run into this issue?
