[Splash Screen][OnePlus 2] How do i change the boot splash screen? - Android Themes

I just got my OnePlus Two phone. I want to change boot logo of the device
I have already changed the bootanimation to my liking. But i want to change the image the comes before that.
After looking around the XDA Forum, I tried to find the logo.bin on my device, but i could not find it.
The device is running STOCK OXYGEN OS. I just updated the bootanimation.zip
The devices is root and bootloader unlcoked. I have also installed TWRP

I'd like to know how to do this too. Something like this would be awesome http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/themes-apps/tool-change-splash-screen-various-t3000218

There is some good threads on the forum that will teach you how to do it. Basicaly it involves creating a new Splash Screen .nbh file that you will flash to your device in the same manner as you would flash a new ROM.
check this thread i made aggges ago about flashing splash's, there are some already made by me and whiskeybro and tools and a tutorial to make your own

HELP need the original boot screen

i have flashed the win7 style windows and it have changed my boot screen with a white htc logo (or something).. so i want the original boot screen with "bios" (if you all get me).. where it give us informations about the memory, processor, etc.. so help me!
Moved as not ROM Development.
Search splashscreen in Kaiser section thats first logo may also want the welcomehead.png.
You can also use ROM editor on a stock take the splash to which is .nb and use htcrt.exe to make flashable .nbh.

[Q] How to Reset Splash Screen

I have a bootloader unlocked Moto X and I've flashed a custom splash screen to my device. However, I'd like to reset the splash screen so it updates so it'll match the seasonal boot animation (currently the spring animation has a green moto logo). Does anyone know the command to wipe the custom splash screen and return to the default/seasonal one?
Thanks!
Browse through the themes and apps section, I'm sure its posted there.
When the phone starts up, you first see the static bootlogo (default is the Moto "M")... after that you see the boot animation. So what do you mean by "splash screen"?
If you have never unlocked the bootloader, the bootlogo is the CLOGO.BMP. If you have an Unlocked bootloader, or you've unlocked/relocked your bootloader, its the LOGO.BIN file.
The Motorola Boot Services app replaces the the bootloogo via replacing the CLOGO.BMP, and switches out the boot animation file on its internal schedule depending on location. You won't see the CLOGO.BMP switch if your bootloader is unlocked (because you'll be using the LOGO.BIN instead), but you will see the boot animation switch just fine.
So if you have an unlocked bootloader and want to replace the boot logo, you'll have to manually flash the logo.bin via mfastboot. See -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x/themes-apps/moto-x-boot-logos-t2417961 and start around post #140 and post #150 of that thread for info on making your own, as well as a ZIP containing some premade/converted (including the Spring, Fall and Winter from Moto Boot Services, and the defaults), and there is some good discussion later in that thread (starting around post #300).

Right, by splash screen I meant the boot logo. For some reason my boot logo is still the default Moto X logo, rather than the seasonal one, even though the bootanimation is the spring animation. I wondered why the Motorola Boot Services didn't overwrite the old one with the seasonal logo. I'll keep trying to figure it out.

Because. As I said.. since you have an unlocked bootloader, your phone uses the LOGO.BIN for the boot logo... BUT Moto Boot Services only replaces the CLOGO.BMP which is the boot logo for LOCKED bootloaders along with changing the boot animation (which is the same for locked and unlocked).
Moto Boot services does not touch Logo.bin. So if you have an unlocked or relocked bootloader, you have to flash logo.bin with mFastboot yourself if you want to change the boot logo.
I've converted the Moto Boot Services CLOGO.BMP files for stock, winter, spring and fall to Logo.bin's, and they in the ZIP attached to post #150 of that other thread.

Yup! I've used those and they look really nice, it's just too bad that I'll have to flash them on my own rather than have the app do it automatically. It's kind of an inconvenience. Oh well, small price to pay.

Black border on boot animations?

Hi all. My Moto X is unlocked and I've been trying to get a custom boot animation on it by switching out the bootanimation.zip in the system/media folder (using ROM toolbox to facilitate this). Problem is every boot animation is too small and has a huge black border around it when I boot up. I gave up and downloaded the stock one and tried to go back to that and... STILL the black border. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Bump.
Bada bing bada bump.
It's because those boot animations are made for a different size screen. You have 3 options. You can either grab the boot animation, extract it, resize the images, then zip it back up, or you could find a boot animation for your X, or you can make one yourself.

That's the weird thing. I grabbed the official Moto X boot animation, and the Moto X is only 720p anyway (pretty small by smartphone standards). What dimensions should I be changing it to?

If it is the official Moto X boot animation then try placing it in system/media manually. You may want to back up the current boot animation first.
Sent from my Moto X.

Removing kernel boot splash

Hello,
i want to see on my N1 screen whats happening, when kernel starts.
So basically to do it would be by removing boot splash. I assume, that this splash logo is like on PC's bootloader(for example GRUB) with params "splash" and "quiet".
So, it should be in boot.img which is flashed inside already. Or i am wrong?
Is there any suggestions how to disable/remove it and show kernel dmesg?
At first, i thought its coded inside kernel, but when i compiled kernel 4.0.5 and used fastboot for N1 to boot it, i still saw that "X" splash and i couldnt see any messages.
