Mi4 Sensors not working (Proximity, Gyro, Orientation) - Mi 3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
When i flashed stock MIUI 7 Stable (Fastboot ROM) some sensors like Gyro, orientation, Proximity doesn't work but when a flash Moshi Custom kernel everything works
@@ssasin.monish
Then i though it might be a MIUI specific bug so i flashed CM12.1 Official still all those sensor mentioned doesn't work?
This all started when i first flashed Moshi Kernel on CM12.1 since then no other or even stock miui kernel is not able to detect sensors.
Please guide me i don't think it's an hardware issue bc everything works fine on Moshi Kernel but no other kernel is working including stock.

Nothing new? i got the same problem mate! did u solved it?

[Q] Front Camera not working after CM 11

Hello, few months ago, I've installed a custom ROM on my N7000 and before I do that, the front camera was working just fine, but after I installed CM 11, it stopped working ever since, I then changed ROM to AICP and no avail, then I flashed back to Stock ICS 4.1.2 and also didn't work, what should I do? Is it a hardware defect? Or just about Kernel, ROM, Software stuff? Help will be much appreciated.
Regards.

Kernel source camera problems?

Has anyone else here been playing around with building your own kernel based off the source that Huawei released? I managed to build a kernel and boot image sucessfully which boots my phone perfectly fine, but I am having a problem where the camera is unable to take pictures when running the kernel I built vs the one that came with the phone.
Known problem and Huawei has been notified.
Unfortunately no solution at the moment.
the kernel is missing camera drivers ...which are not in the kernel source

What is the newest working ROM for the 701T with working camera?

So I want to update my 701T with the most current ROM out there.
Once requirement...it must have working camera. I see that KatKiss 7.1 claims the camera does not work.
Is there another ROM 6.0 or greater out there with working camera?
Thanks
Ray
Here a link to 6.0.1, I did a quick read and it doesn't mention that the camera isn't working.

Camera does not working when using kernel compiled from OSRC source

Hi, I just got my hand on the Galaxy Note 8, I immediately tried to root and compile a custom kernel for it, I'm running Android 9 latest version and used the latest kernel source code on Samsung OSRC but for some reason, the camera refuses to work if I use my custom kernel.
I built my custom kernel simply by unpacking the stock firmware boot.img, replaced the zImage and put it back together.
After a while of investigating and tried to use custom kernel built by other people, I realize that they replaced the camera firmware in /system/vendor/firmware/ with the files fimc_is_lib.bin fimc_is_rta_imx333_3h1.bin fimc_is_rta_2l2_3h1.bin fimc_is_rta_imx333_imx320.bin fimc_is_rta_2l2_imx320.bin and the camera was functioning with their kernel but somehow I still unsuccessful on getting my OSRC kernel with a camera working on this phone with their firmware files.
I've searched all over the internet and there doesn't seem to be any thread talking about such issue so I'm currently in a dead end
So anyone knows what's going on with the camera firmware of this phone, please let me know.
Thanks.
