Htc one mini 2 doesn't want to start - HTC One Mini 2

My HTC one mini 2 doesn't want to start anymore.
I have tried to start the recovery mode using the button combination, but with no effect.
If I want to try reinstalling the OS, how should I do? I know that if I want to reinstall the OS I need to enter the recovery mode, but i can't do that.
Please help me and sorry if there is another similar post.

Try powering it on after charging overnight. If that won't work, try holding the Vol Up and Power button together for 20 seconds

I have tried them both with no result.
There is any chance to reinstall the OS if it doesn't want to enter in the recovery mode?

Your phone needs to atleast boot to the bootloader before you can even consider reinstalling the OS

you might be able to enter bootloader with command line.
We need more info:
is you phone rooted? bootloader unlocked?
What exactly is happening with the button combination? Any image like HTC logo or any at all?

[Q] Help! Cannot enter recovery mode.

Hi have OG Milestone, with OR & CM7.1.2 working great, till today, when adfree suddenly stopped working. So I try and go into recovery to re-enable...
Have tried to reboot to recovery, it just reboots.
Have tried the 3 finger method etc, get the triangle but it immediately disappears! Then reboots.
Anyone provide any pointers?
I think GOT's open recovery requires you to press both camera and power button to boot into.
Can you try?

Maybe reinstall GOT open recovery?
Delete your openrecovery folder in sdcard, and dowload a new copy.

download mode: vol up + vol down + power button
recovery mode: vol up + power + menu.
in order to connect your phone and use odin you should go to download mode.

Yes i can, and it didnt reboot, so it means my phone isn't hard bricked
yes maybe just a soft one. You do know how to use Odin, right? You can flash a stock firmware, there's one thread who has stock firmware just follow the instructions from there. try this. Hope you fix your ace in no time :good:

Try installing the Samsung drivers yourself, I think there is one in Sammobile.com. Not sure though, or just try visiting samsung's website and download the drivers.
Just Google for Samsung mobile usb driver, i have just downloaded it few hours ago.

[Q] HELP! Phone stuck in unuseable state

Hi
I've been having problems with the HOME button on my phone. I've been running PA2.51 on it so thought it was probably the ROM. I went to flash the newer 2.99 ROM from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2115167
After I followed the instructions I rebooted the phone and now I'm stuck with loads of FC! I can't even reboot into recovery or download mode because the stupid HOME button doesn't work.
I don't know what to do??
Can anyone help or advise please? I'd want to get my files off the thing if I can't save it sigh

It's strange. VOL-DOWN + HOME + POWER combination should brings Ace to download mode, and VOL-UP+ HOME + POWER combination brings Ace to ramdump screen.
For flashing stock ROM purpose, Mobile Odin may help.

No dude, his phone is stuck in ramdump mode, so he can't boot to system.
He should use the PC version of Odin.

Yes, I can enter Recovery Mode. In fact, I was thinking about this, but I have no idea what custom ROM I should install.
Could any of you recommend me the easiest one to install?
Please, consider that my PC is very outdated, so I hope I don't have to install any software or download any heavy file.
I just want to go back to the stock firmware after I flash the custom one, so I don't care what feature the custom rom has.
Thank you all for your answers

Please help !! Htc one m7 stuck in boot loop *not rooted*

Hello,
can anyone help me. My HTC phone m7 just had a count down and then shutdown for it self. It then began to reboot over and over and it never gets pass the HTC logo.
I tried:
1. going into the splash screen, but i reboots even when i do that. It happens so quickly i can't select fastboot, factory reset or anything.
2. Holding it close to a bring light and hard reset.
3. Waiting for 48 hours.
4. leaving the battery to drained and then hard reset.
I can't remove the battery. and when ever i put the phone to charge it keeps rebooting over and over.

First, try holding the power button for few seconds till kapacitive buttons start flashing. If that doesn't help, press power + vol down to get into bootloader, and then post everything written there

I tired pressing the volume+ down button but it goes into the splash screen, where I can choose fastboot or factory reset. But when I get there, the phone reboots before I can select anything.
When I hold the power button. I did this for at lease 2 mins. Nothing happens.

OK, what does it say on that screen? Under "locked"?
There should be h-boot version and OS version above fastboot and factory reset options. We need that info to try to help you

Download this .exe to your computer, reboot your phone to bootloader mode, connect it to your computer, and run the .exe. That should fix any software issues

If it's in bootloader mode it should be fine. In order to run the .exe file your phone must be in bootloader mode. You managed togo into bootloader, so there should be no problem. If that .exe doesn't solve your issue, than it's safe to say it's a hardware issue
