Charging and wakeup problem in android - Teclast X98 Air 3G

Hi everyone,
Whenever I charge my tablet while in android, tablet wakes up each few seconds with screen on. While the screen is on, I can see that the charging icon displays the tablet is charging and then next time screen wakes up, I can see that it no longer charges. This loop continues until I disconnect the charger. It charges and wakes the screen then stops charging and wakes the screen. Again and again.
I just want someone to confirm that they have the same problem as mine so I know this is normal.
I tried to use another charger and it didn't help.
I am on mirek190 and I have had this problem both with version 5 and 6. I didn't test this with other versions and I can't remember if I had this problem with official firmware.
This doesn't happen with Windows.
Thank you.
Nik

I would like to add that if I boot to Windows I don't have the charging cycle problem. Windows displays constantly that the battery is charging. It's just the android which cycles through charging and of course irritating screen wakeup.
Thanks
Nik

Same problem on Teclast X98 Air III
Nik, Did you get any resolution on this? I just got my X98 Air III and it's having the same problem running the stock Android ROM. Thanks, Dave

Yes kind of. I flashed the stock Rom again using mft tool instead of the tool provided by mirek Rom. Then charged it overnight (about 8 hours) and then flashed mirek again using mft tool. It helped a lot

After 4 weeks a have now the same problem. Have the C5J6 with Mireks V6 and a clean install of Windows 10 1511. And now it doenst charge to 100%, sometimes it doenst charge. When it switch it of and put in the charger, it normal charge with about 1300mAh, but only so long as the green charge animation is visible. After the animation goes of, it goes down to 0mAh, so it doenst charge. I must plug in the charger in and out and then came a white battery symbol for charge (instead of green before) then it charge but very slow, 300mAh
Under Android runing sometimes it charge but not more then 80% and very slow, ca. 400mAh and stop charging at 80%..
Aida64 says under accu "over volting" or "dead".
Is the accu really dead??

This is lolipop bug, i also noticed that a few days ago. Im on official stock debloated. Charging in windows seems fine
Im waiting for new mirek's 4.4x release, lolipop is too sluggish and bugged on this tablet

[Q] Charging Battery so loong...

I charged my X1 with wall adapter. But after 2 hrs, the phone is still charging.
See the battery meter it has reached 100%. Then wait another hrs, the phone is still charging. After almost 4 hrs, the illumation light is finally off.
Q: Is it ok? Does it happen to yours?
dosen't wake up
after the x1 charges to full battery, the device dosen't wake up on pressing the power button, this thing is new, almost few weeks, i don't understand, is a hardware problem or a rom problem... can anybody help me with this,
ps... the xperia illum lights dosen't turn off after charging, and charger disconnected they still blink
It's normal behaviour of the Xperia X1 to keep charging when the battery meter has reached 100 %. And it's also common for the charging process to take some time. I don't know exactly how long the process takes because I usually charge the battery during the night but charging an empty battery is certainly not accomplished in under an hour.
Your second problem could be a software issue. What rom is installed on your phone? Custom or stock? Have you tried a hardreset yet?
It happens to all X1. AFAIK, it's okay to disconnect the charger after X1 reach 100%, no need the blink to be stopped. The same thing is happened to my previous HTC too.
I don't know any Windows Mobile Phone that stops charging immediately when the battery meter has reached 100 %. One reason is that the meter only measures in 10 % steps. So when it reaches 100 % it might only be 96 %. To charge the battery completely you have to leave it connected until the leds stop indicating the charging process.
Okay guys, I got u people's meaning, yeah I remember that it was happened to my elder PDA too, O2 mini. Thank you people, to spend your time. Sorry bother you.

[Solved] Upgraded to CM7 RC14 (doshaska), now battery will not charge on my Milestone

Edit: thanks to this post, my problem has been solved. Thanks!
So last night I went from stock motorola 2.2 to this wonderful-seeming version of CyanogenMod on my UK milestone - the install went flawlessly, but now I have a problem - my battery is not charging at ALL.
While the phone was on last night after I charged it, it was plugged in, first to my PC and then to the wall socket. In both cases, the battery indicator had a ? (question mark) on it.
I thought it might have been some weirdness with battery calibration so I left it and plugged the phone in from the wall to charge overnight. This morning, my phone was telling me to connect my charger (despite it being plugged in) and on removing the power cable, it died due to no battery power left within 10 minutes.
While plugged in from the wall, the battery indicator comes up but again just contains a ? on it. The little white light next to the power socket never lights up.
If I plug the phone in to my PC via USB then if the handset is OFF, the white light comes on and around 10 mins later it gets enough juice to boot up. The problem is that when the CM7 software starts, the little white light disappears, the phone stops charging despite the cable being present, and it then dies 2 minutes later.
I know the battery is fine because it was perfectly fine before I installed CM7.
Anyone else experienced this problem and/or know how to fix it?
One thing I did manage to do before it died was install a battery calibration app that I found on xda-developers - this told me that the battery was running at 3267 mV - any idea if that's good or bad?
(and yes, I'm using precisely the same cable/charger I was using before I put this version of CM7 on, so I know they are fine - they charge a friend's SGS with no problems)

Try plugging the phone into the wall charger, without the battery. Try and boot it up and let it boot. Once it's booted up, give it a bit and try and put the battery in and leave it to charge.
What happens if you turn off you phone and plug it in a wall charger? If the problem isn't in your battery it will charge fully.
When you phone comes up, try to disable the 1% battery steps in settings. I got a problem with it, and after disabled/enabled it worked fine for me.
Hope this helps.
On plugging it into a wall charger, the phone comes up with its special battery charging screen (i.e. a fullscreen battery level indicator) - no amount of pressing the power button seems to get it to boot properly (with or without the battery).
I'll see if I can get in and get rid of the 1% steps thing later, thanks for the suggestion

Dude, that was PERFECT.
Managed to get enough juice into the thing to get into the menu for a moment and was able to disable the 1% battery steps option - soon as I touch that tickbox, the battery indicator switches from a ? to the charging symbol and the phone starts charging. Thanks a million!
Nop dude, you are welcome

maybe solved : battery drain after taking off charger

Accidentally discovered this.
I am still testing it. On 7.8 .8835 ansar rom currently. I noticed tgaey battery lasts longer if I did the following.
1) full charge till green led, restart the phone, phone will show orange led again turn off the charger b4 it turns green led.
2) always keep a tab with a non flash webpage in IE when phone is idle.
I have no explanation how this works but need testers to verify.report back if this worked for u

Didn't seem to make any difference for me. I am using the deepshining rom 7.8 so this may be why? Personally since the move from 7.5 to 7.8 the battery life has got worse but not too bad. :silly:
Since mango there is a phenomenon where the battery when left overnight onthe charger will drain rapidly after being taken off the charger..
For this reason alone i have stopped leaving it overnight on the charger .

[Q] Battery not charging. Stuck on Battery logo loop

So, here's what happened.
I have a N7000 and it's charger port stopped working a semester ago. So I bought a new one and replaced it. Everything went back to normal.
Now yesterday I was using my phone and it discharged (It discharges even while charging and browsing the internet for example), but I was talking with someone and I had to get back ASAP and conclude the conversation. So I took a older battery that's stuffed and pluged it in and finished what I was doing.
The thing is, now that I connect the newer battery (3 months old, original), I get stuck on a battery logo loop. The battery icon shows up with the circle that rotates in the middle, then the screen gets brighter, flickers a little (My phone always flicker at 25%~ battery) and goes black. Then it starts again and again in a loop.
The stuffed battery still works and is charging fine, with that said, I'm sure I don't have any problems with the charging port/cables/chargers.
I believe this has happened once before but I can't remember the procedure to fix it. Does anyone?
Thank you!

It almost sounds from what your describing like the charger block (not the cable itself) is not sending enough power down the cable, I would try either a different block or even a 2 amp charger block just to make sure.

My phone won't turn on

Ever since Lollipop, my HTC One M8 has been a battery hog! I'm running Venom 4.x.x and my battery only lasts less than 7 hrs. Yesterday my battery completely died, I went home to charge and it won't turn on at all. The red charge light kind of flickers when plugged in and nothing when unplugged. It's been charging for 19 hours and still nothing. What could possibly be wrong? Is there any way to recover from this?
**bump**
Did you find a solution ? I had a problem yesterday withy phone I was flashing a mod and didn't put attention about battery levels , during flashing my phone went off and the battery charging light started flashing and displaying a battery on my screen . Since then I haven't been able to turn it on anymore, I keep it plug in the charger all night and nothing
