Ive just seen this on Clove, and wondering if anyone has bought it yet?
Really i would like to know how big the bulge will really be, as there aren't any good photos on their site... LINK

That particular extended battery (from that manufacturer) is now available from many sites. I did some searching earlier today and there are some great pictures available (sorry...I don't remember where).
It looks nice, but like you I'll look forward to what people think after they get it and use it.

there arent any good photos of the bulge is due to the fact that the extended battery is really ugly. There's no decent view of it from any angle.

bought this a few days back. the back cover looks really awkward. the battery lasts full day with wifi and gprs on. after about 8-9 hrs the battery is exhausted and strangely when taken out of the mobile and reinserted, the battery meter shows me another 49 to 50 % left. so basically double life. but i havent checked it practically for two days without recharge

Thanks I was fearing as much, i did find a few photos last night, that seemed to show a gap where the cover meets the phone body under the camera LINK

Great thanks! the sino cameron looks pretty bad, It would be good to see an alternative

for me, even the original extended is ugly...but this is really really ugly
i would buy two normal and change these....think thats better than one ugly

you have a point! I have just been looking at the HTC extended battery and i really like it but the price and not be able to use a case really puts me off...so i think you are right, maybe a spare or two standard batts are the answer

I kind of had to push it on real hard. I think it clicked. It's got a rubber finish. Not bad but not perfect. Haven't used yet will report.
21$ USD received in about 2-3 days from purchase in the U.S. Pretty quick. I like that. Doesn't ship from Hong Kong. Or it didn't for me anyway.

Thanks for the post and the pictures. Will look forward to your thoughts after you've used it.

I bought the one from Clove a few weeks ago. The cover didn't fit too well. The space cut out for the volume bar prevented the cover from sitting onto the device properly. I cut out a bit of the corner then it fit.
Then I found the cover didn't "lock" well to the device. One side was OK while the other was just too loose (it didn't "click"). Just a slight touch/pressure would make the cover fall off. This was totally unacceptable.
I nevertheless still held on to it just to see how the battery perform. I fully charged it for 8 hours (overnight) but then I just felt (feeling only; no proper testing) that it was more than the original juice by half only, no where near the supposed-to-be-almost-double.
Being totally disappointed, I returned the cover + battery to Clove, who admitted that it was a manufacturing defect (I didn't really complain about the battery). New stock will however be only available end of the month.
While waiting for the new stock, Clove was kind enough to inform me that the original HTC extended battery (with stand) was available. So, I informed them that I would want to get the original HTC one instead.
Sales at Clove really sucked. They didn't even bother to read emails nor customer records or whatever and asking me to return my battery - what the heck. Like this, after a few rounds of email exchange (one email reply per day), the Sales finally seemed to understand the situation and advised me of an additional charge of 30 British Pounds ??????
The HTC extended battery is priced at 35 pounds while the one I returned is 15 pounds. So, apart from the VAT, etc., they obviously charge me at least 10 pounds for the shipment, again. Excuse me, that was supposed to be a replacement!!!
Like this, another few rounds of email exchange (that means a few days), i finally gave up and stick to waiting for the replacement.
Just some experience to share with those who are interested in this battery and buying from Clove.

as if the HD 2 isnt big enough allready. I just bought a spare normal battery which i will keep in the car or something.

Battery isn't really a problem anymore at least with my phone. Can have Wifi and bluetooth on all day listen to music ect. Make calls and browse and still on about 30-50% at 11pm when taken off charge at about 7am. If I turn things off and use it just a bit I can get 2-3 days out of it. Using Elegance Rom with 2.07 Radio

I purchased the battery on Ebay here http://myworld.ebay.com/av-battery/. It arrived in about 2-3 business days. Pretty quick. Obviously not shipped from outside the U.S.
Where I live my HD2 is constantly struggling to hold a signal. It goes between 1-3 bars 3G most of the day. Mostly hanging around 1 bar and sometimes dropping signal altogether depending where I’m standing in my house. So with that said I’ve charged it fully and used it 2 full days. I mess with the HD2 most of the day surfing via wifi and 3G. Watch some videos and do a handful of calls a day. The battery does definitely offer more juice than the standard. I wouldn’t say double but maybe 70-75% more. So for me I get pretty much a full days use out of it. But I think it’s because my signal isn’t great where I live. If I lived where I had 4 bars constantly I’m thinking I’d get at least 2 days out of it.
It does have a good rubberized coating and the extra girth isn’t really a big deal. Actually the hump kind of fills a gap in my hand when I hold the device. In the pocket it does stick out more but not too bad. My cover didn’t fit on perfectly on my device also. It did click on both sides though. Some people are saying that one side isn’t clicking on. But mine did after I applied some pressure. Definitely not as quality as the original cover and it’s plastic not metal. Also the volume keys are almost flush with the cover making it hard to click the volume keys.
One benefit of this battery is when I lay the phone on it’s back the camera edge doesn’t scratch surfaces anymore. I think I can live with the hump on this device. I think I’ll keep this battery on. I’m curious about the official extended battery how/if it will perform better and I think I would like the kickstand. But for half or even less the price I’m OK with this solution for now.

I bought one of these off ebay also. Seems the same one as is available everywhere. Battery was ok but backplate was crap and would not clip in on one side. I complained and asked for a replacement, which they granted and then i changed my mind that I wanted a refund. They gave me my refund and didnt ask me to post it back Next thing they have sent me a replacement as well (although again backplate wont clip in properly)!!!! And in between i ordered the official one so ive got three now lol.
Anyways the official one is far far better. Backplate is metal and of perfect construction (as you might expect) and kick stand is nice and solid.

got this battery today. The back cover doesn't feet well, one side doesn't lock.

Hello,
I bought this 2400mAh battery a month ago, but it has the same problem. The capacity of the battery is as described, but the battery indicator shows wrong percentage. It means that, when the indicator shows 0% and automatically turn the phone off, the battery still have about 50% of the power inside. I have to remove the battery out of the phone and install again, then it shows the 50% left.
Anybody know how to install it in a correct way (without this problem).

Ok, I bought the same battery off thEbay and the cover didn't fit well either. So I got out my pocket knife and shaved away very thinly on the cover where it has the cutout for the volume buttons, and also at the bottom of that edge till it fit and clicked in place. The most I had to cut away was at the top and bottom of the buttons, and in the radius. I think I trimmed a very tiny bit off the top of the cover too. It's very soft plastic so go slow like you are shaving it. Fits like a champ now with very noticeable increase in power.

Love my 2150 but went back to 1750

The 2150mah is a wonderful wonderful battery. I am glad to own it, and for really heavy users, or those will be out and about all day, it is definitely a great investment ... so long as you are ok not having a case.
But I started to think about it and realized, having 68% left at the end of the day is wonderful, but do I *need* 68% at the end of the day just so that I can risk damage to the phone? I don't think so.
With the low-effort battery charging trick (charge with power-on, when green, select power off, and wait for green again; NO NEED TO UNPLUG), the 1750mah provides a full day of usage, but will fit in a case.
Anyway, while YMMV, I think the bragging rights on battery power do not outweigh the risks of damage.
My 2 cents.

Well ... I did a proper charge this morning, and played with Nav, maps, a few games of freecell, emailing, 1 phone call, and am still at 74% with my 1750. I think the 1750 with proper charging is the sweet spot.

Will the Innocase fit over the phone with a 2150 if you have the battery cover off?

For what it's worth, I bought the 2150 and, following the advice I received from another xda thread, just cut the back panel out of a soft case. Though much of the new expanded battery back is exposed, the camera lense is actually much more protected than before. And, of course, the screen is now protected from dropping. As a bonus, the phone looks nicer and the obnoxious bulge is considerably less noticeable.

I did the exact same thing. If you take your time and pay attention to detail the end result is very nice.

I did the hard case and cut it. 17 hours of use and still has half of the charge.

Thank you for your 2 cents, it has earned interest.
I was considering which battery to get since the stock 1300 seems to last ALLLLLMOST the whole day for me with heavy usage and having it plugged into USB at intervals when I am at my desk. I need something to last all day or nearly so without plugging in at all. I prefer to stick with something that fits in the stock case so I'll go for the 1750.

I guess that I am a moron. I don't get what the low-effort battery charging trick does. What do you mean by no need to unplug? I understand the steps, but don't you need to unplug it when you go somewhere?

I just bought the 2150 the other day and I did everything I could think of yesterday to completely kill it. I had it off the charger all day at work (I usually keep it plugged it at work), I played slacker for about 4 hours a few of which were in my car and didnt use my car charger (I always have my phone plugged in when driving), played about an hour of "traffic jam", sent numerous texts, talked over bluetooth, had GPS on all day, and lastly used SportyPal for an hour when I put in my bike miles. After all that and 15 hours later I was finally in the yellow. With that said I do love the extra juice I get from the battery but I dont think I need it over the 1750. I am going to order the 1750 and see how that holds up. If I like it I will return my 2150.

Anybody have a good and semi cheap case idea for extended batteries? Or pouch

[Q] SEIDIO 3500mAh Extended battery

So I got the 3500mAh extended battery which came with the backplate to house the battery and noticed that the included backplate does not have the two contact points that the stock plate has. anyone know what those two contact points are for the nexus s?

They are the NFC chip contacts.
If you change cover, NFC will stop working.

I can't review the battery itself yet, but I can say this for the cover: it fits as well as one might expect, and seems to be made out of fair (though certainly not great) quality plastic. It's a bit thinner than I'd like, but very lightweight.
I had to exchange my first one because the cover didn't snap onto one of the corners of the phone right. The second one was fine. It should fit well and snap securely in place; if it doesn't, exchange it; it's defective.

i've had the battery for about 3 days now. it lasts more than twice as long as the stock battery (which was unexpected).
daily use for me: gps, wifi and 3G are always on, i have popup SMS that wakes screen for 10sec - average of ~150x a day, overclocked at 1.3 (ondemand with a minimum of 10000), foto tile slideshow as live wallpaper (6xtiles) and automatic updating/refresh for various applications/widgets/mail every 30min to an hour (unless pushed). as for phone calls i barely receive or make one to two phone calls a day, those of which are usually under 3min. volume is always set on high and i have vibrate and audio notifications for twitter, facebook, sms, mail, calendar, alarms and a couple of other apps.
so my battery used to go from 8am (96% full charge) to 2pm (2%) - from 1:30-2:00 the screen stays on running a timer (ultrachron) for my lunch.
now with the extended battery it runs from 8am (96%) to 11pm (30%) without any charging, the last few days was the first times i've ever had the phone and had no worries about carrying a spare battery or finding a charger - granted i've only had the battery for a few days and performance is expected drop a little as time progresses but already the single extended battery already outperforms the two stock batteries combined with the added benefit of not having to swap batteries in the afternoon (although i guess that doesn't matter as much since sometimes i get a random reboot that requires me to take the battery out because it reboots with a negative display and loops).
as for the plate, i didnt know the plate was anything to even consider, it is a bit thinner than the stock plate, fits fine, all corners snapped into place fine for me. the plate has that rubbery finish, which i love, and adds some perceived value, the phone doesn't feel so "plastic-ee" or "cheap".
because i have rather large hands the thickness also adds some much wanted dimension to the phone that i've been really looking for since i came from a background of being accustom to an iPhone4 with a mophie juice pack.
considering that i live in colorado there is absolutely no use for the NFC here and i dont miss the functionality at all; the lost of that feature is a minor setback compared to the added battery life and dimension.

Dear lord. With slight tweaks to your setup you would see this type of battery life on the stock battery. Seems like you are wasting gobs of power.
I came from a Droid 2 with liberty rom, where I routinely get two days of battery life under heavy use (I sell phones so I'm on it all day) and I'm easily doing 12 hours of use with no tweaks on my nexus.

I also just got the extended battery and back cover. As the OP stated, you need to make sure you have a good fit with the new cover--it has a very nice feel, but mine does not fit quite as securely as the stock back.
As for use, on my second charge I went from 100 to 15 percent with the following use:
*wifi or 3g always on.
*syncing 3 email accounts every 30 min.
*9 hours of screen on (surfing, YouTube, playing around)
*1 hour of phone calls.
*4 hours of GPS tracking while walking around and using endomondo pro.
Battery meter showed usage at about 30% for screen, 25% endomondo, 12% voice calls, 12% gpsd and the rest with various apps, standby etc. (sorry, forgot to take a screenshot).
This was all over a 40 hour period and is more than my normal usage. I streamed a couple hours of YouTube just to try and deplete the battery. With my normal use, I suspect I will get 4 to 5 days or at least twice what I was getting on the stock battery.

yeah, i've used nscollab with no modifications, widgets, well basically with no bells or whistles and yeah my battery life was lasting over 24hrs but (for me) there wasn't enough functionality - i need full featured performance as i use the phone as everything else but making calls lol
everything i run is a necessity except my wallpaper and i definitely keep an eye on running apps through the native app manager but i cant seem to find much else to get rid of for better battery life, with the extended battery though i'm just kinda happy at where i am now =P

Thanks for the pics. I don't understand why seidio insists on making such ugly back covers. I hate to bother you with too many questions, but in your opinion does it make the phone feel too bulky in your hand or pocket? Also, where did you get your Android at? I want one!

I hate to be an ass back, but seriously I did google android figurine. I was asking where he got his at, not where I can find one on Google. Is there any harm in me asking that? Just like a Yankees fan...think they know it all. If you didn't notice his is a little different with Android written across the stomach of the Android.

i actually prefer the bulk added to the phone, makes it feel a little better in the hands. as for throwing it on my pocket, its not too bad but i thought the nexus s was too thin to begin with so i guess its just preference =P

Extended batteries (3500mah in this case)

Well... so far I've ordered a 3500mah extended battery from Hong Kong.. but as I believe this will take rather a long time to get here... I've ordered another one from the UK as well from ECELL, which apparently has a silver extended cover.
I'm well aware that these are likely cack batteries and I have a plan for that
Basically I'm hoping that whichever one I consider to be the worst will either die on me... or I will simply end it's life prematurely. I am going to cut open the battery (Carefully!) and try to replace the cell's with two Genuine OEM 1500 mah batteries, for a true 3000mah. I bit elaborate but I think it should be possible as long as I cut in the right places.
EDIT: I found genuine LG batteries for about £8.50 each plus about £5 postage, so will order 2 batteries for around £22. They are special order though, so will take 14-28 days. (I am also getting them to confirm the capacity is defo 1500mah, as no point buying them otherwise.)

Well.. I was getting a little impatient... so when I was really tired (and may just a little to drink), I ordered one from ECELL on ebay. It had a silver cover and a 3600mah battery (We all know it isn't that much), and was listed for the 2x P990. Turns up.. it's for the LG Optimus S :-( Bummer. Just trying to get a return/refund.
So... experiment is delayed somewhat.
Update: Two LG OEM batteries have been ordered ; The incorrect extended battery sent back ; Still awaiting the HK Extended battery. Bizarrely I thought I actually ordered a 2nd UK based battery.. but I was so tired I think I forgot to do it lol. Can't wait to have a play with these

Since I also have a bigger case now, I am going to look to see if I can play around with an external antenna as well.. and maybe fit a bigger antenna inside the expanded case. With that in mind I have ordered two antenna's of different types to see which one fits (expensive.. but then at least we all know )

Apparently the LG batteries have been dispatched now, so should get them within a few days. Only annoying thing is that even LG were unable to confirm whether these batteries I'm getting are 1500mah. I will be gutted if they are not lol.
btw.. you should see my desk at present at home. I have about 5 phones, four of them in bits awaiting tinkering, LED bike lights (all modified), circuit boards from laptops everywhere, reparing a 4x 18650 battery pack + routers etc lol. And I just realised that I actually don't know where my soldering iron is ROFL. Must dig one out.
Anyway... I'm looking forward to it and if I can get it working, I'll put up pics etc. I'm very interested in trying to get the temp sensor working (although I realise it may only work for one of the batteries.).
P.s. as for extended cases and covers I bought this w w w.ebay.co.uk/itm/Clear-Black-Trim-Rubber-Case-Cover-LCD-Film-Pro-LG-Optimus-2X-G2X-/180782656771?pt=UK_MobilePhones_MobilePhonesCasesP ouches&hash=item2a177c6d03 and then cut out the back clear part. It's not a perfect fit, but it will work for the moment (Buy at your own risk.. I actually stretched mine too much when getting the clear part out).

Genuine LG batteries have just arrived about 30 seconds ago. They are 1500mah
So with the delivery charge added in they were £11.04 each (£8.49 each without delivery charge). So if you ordered more it would be less due to the one time delivery charge of £5.10. Not bad for a 1500mah genuine battery! Batteries dated 10/09/2011.

On my first run it lastest almost 2 days on stock rom, with a fair amount of use. I would prob say only around 2000mah at a guess though.
I'm just trying to get it to run down again for a 2nd charge now.
Once all that's done, I'll open it up and start tinkering I will have to get both the LG batteries to the same state of charge as well (same voltage level) before hooking them up.)
Bear in mind I've spent £22 on original batteries that I am about to hack open for the cells inside, so there is no going back lol. Pretty expensive mistake if I **** it up relatively speaking.

no doubt it could be an expensive mistake, but if u succeed which i think you will the results will be probably a 4 day battery. so i think its worth it
i got the 2450Mah battery and it holds about 2 days with medium usage, so im really thrilled about ure test as i dont care about the size of the phone,
if you can share pictures it will be great you can also p.m if u want!!

I charged the battery again last night, and rapid drained it running bluetooth (nothing connected), some GPS usage and wifi with smartshare running a video across from my NAS drive. In the morning it was down to about 25 percent so tried GPS on cycle to work and then drained it with music and GPS until 1%. Charged it without using it, and it's reporting about 1900mah estimated for the battery. I don't rate the estimator as highly accurate btw, but it's a guide .
I will try to take the battery apart tonight if I can. Not sure on best way to open it though, as I will need to reuse the carcass.

Damn.. was taking it apart and fried the circuit it came with. Unfortunately the metal legs that bring power from either side slipped off and touch the outer shell of the battery, was enough for a small yellow spark :-( oh well. (EDIT: Hmm.. circuit may still be alive actually...)
It's two batteries pressed together with several layers of thin plastic between them, either for insulation, spacing or both. I'm actually pretty surprised the cells weren't isolated better from each other.
Update 1: Well, for the first time.. I just managed to burn myself with electricity opps. These packs are really badly isolated. Shorted it on the tip of my finger... beginning to hurt lol. There are NO ratings on these batteries whatsoever. However, one thing they are is... amazingly well balanced. Just measured them and they are both exactly 3.78V's.
Update 2: The circuit and LG Battery will NOT fit directly into the old casing. There will need to either a mod to the extended casing, or we'll just have to 'go without', and make a casing up. It's looking like it's best to do without using the old battery at all actually, and just wire the two batteries together using the LG circuitry. (Well only one of the circuits).
Update 3: Will dig out the soldering iron tonight and get this double battery running
Update 4: Have VERY BADLY soldered the batteries together and combined battery is now charging in the phone. Due to the excess solder on the sides the battery is not quite proper fit, so I will have to redo it at some point. Really very dissappointed with how awful the soldering is, I will simply HAVE to redo it once this experiment is tested. Any tips on a soldering iron chaps? On the plus side, the one thing I do get is a temperature reading :-D
Tip number 1: Quickly snip the circuit off first and DO NOT let it touch the side of the battery casing, it will short out.

Points of interest
A) The extended battery is EXACTLY double the width of an LG battery.
B) LG OEM Batteries are made by Sanyo
C) Don't use a conventional soldering iron... it is almost impossible to solder the negative side and you will end up overheating the battery if you are not careful. (Any tips here guys?)

Charge battery up last night, and stayed up wayy too late trying to drain it.
Technique... used the 'flashlight' app to keep the LED on, turned on bluetooth, turned on wifi, and use smartshare to stream a movie (at full screen brightness) to the phone. Played Dungeon Defenders for a while as well at full brighness so hopefully the graphics core would take more power. Battery Temp got as high as 40C under 1400mah draw. Odd thing was that battery widget pro at times reported +25000 Mah(ish), yes PLUS '+', and 25000mah, that's just insane..not sure where it was getting the figures from :-(
7% battery left when I put it down, voltage was 3.550 or very close. This morning, voltage it still had 7% left and voltage had increased to 3.7 ish. Guessing it's because the battery was warm last night when under heavy strain, and now it's relaxed and cooled it's feeling better lol. (Or maybe something else?)
Running gps client down now in attempt to drain the rest before recharging. Ideally want to get it down to 1% before a full charge.

how were u able to fit it in? i get u got a bigger case but still....
share with us ure images / knowledge its sounds really cool doing.

I basically copied what they had done on the 3500mah battery, and merely connected up the positive to positive and negative to negative terminals of the batteries using thin strips of metal, and only used one circuit from the LG battery. Basically I parallel the batteries to increase capacity.
I used a small spacer to keep the batteries seperated, but thinking about it, I could have use the bodies themselves as the 'negative' but it wouldn't have been a good connection). I then just taped the battery up and use the 3500mah battery sticker to hold it all together.
This really is just a 'prove it works' / prototype, and I will remake it neater, although I may have to buy a better soldering iron.

Note: After charging back up from 1% this morning to 100%, the 'estimated' mah by Battery Widget Pro is 1551mah. This would indicate to me that one battery is not connected properly unfortunately. I'm gonna run the battery and see how long it lasts under general usage. If it lasts only a day and a half, then I suspect I will have to resolder.

I bought a 3500mah half a year back and it wasn't any good. Twice the width but lasts the same as the original one. It'll be good if you could show us some pictures? I may consider making one too!

To be fair the estimated capacity of the 3500mah was around 1800 to 2000 mah. Pretty good considering it came with an extended back cover for under £5. It does seem entirely random though, and I was never comfortable without a temperature sensor.
The work I have done so far is rubbish to be honest. I thought I'd make a better job of soldering. I will have to redo it, as the fit is terrible due to the solder being too big/messy, and the connections are not very or or not working/broken.

Can't wait to see the results.

For some reason, battery widget pro was recording very high mah draw/drain. I do not believe I soldered the negative terminals well enough. I took it apart and tried to prise a little flap of metal up for soldering, and managed to rip the terminal off the pack. I will do my best to remedy this of course and let you chaps know the result.

I also have the 3500 mAH and I was wondering if it was really giving 3500 mAH. I'm getting about 1.5 days on this battery with moderate usage. Heavy usage I get about a day. I wonder what I'm doing wrong. I think it's supposed to last longer.

ZeroLemon LG G4 8500mAh TriCell Extended Battery Review

I have had the ZeroLemon 8500mAh battery and case for a week now.
The day I received it, I charged it to 100% and left it on the charger for an additional 3 hours as the instructions say.
I have a moto 360 connected to this phone all the time, and used a set of Plantronics Backbeat GO 2 bluetooth earbuds about 4 hours per day.
The very first charge I went 4 days without charging and ended up with 9.5 hours screen on time.
I left the brightness on 100% and had 2 email accounts on push as well as the usual Facebook, weather and other apps syncing.
I use my phone for both work and personal use so it had some heavy use.
I have been going 2 days now on the second charge and it sits at 78%.
As for the size of the case on the phone. It honestly is much smaller than I was expecting.
You can look at the pictures I have attached and see it is no bigger than an OtterBox Defender, it is just more square and not rounded.
The case does look like it would protect from small drops (desk height) and scuffs.
The front does sit a bit above the glass to keep the glass from ever touching anything when you set it down.
All of the openings and ports line up correctly and are big enough for normal use with no issues.
The speaker port is on the bottom of the phone instead of the back making for less muffled sounds when placed on a table.
The rear buttons are well placed and easy to use.
The case itself adds texture and does not feel near as slippery as the original backs.
Overall I would recommend this case to anyone who has to charge their phone throughout the day or who can benefit from multiple days between charges.
I can honestly say that the only (and this is minor) problem I found was the ports on the bottom of the phone allow dust ingress to the battery compartment.
Other than that, this is the perfect extended battery/case for your LG G4.

I don't think this battery support the Quick Charge 2.0 and I have noticed that it takes quite a while to charge the normal battery, sometimes up to 4 hours with a 5V 2.1A charger. I just ordered (had to) a Quick Charge 2.0 charger hoping I can reduce the total time to at least half that time.
I don't mind leaving it on an entire night every 4 days, but it kinds of worry me that if I ever get this it will take a huge time charing it.

It took mine about 3 hours to reach 100% and then the directions state to let it charge for an additional 3 hours after it hits 100% to be fully charged.
So about 6 hours. I do as you described, every 3 or 4 days, depending on usage, I will fully charge the battery.
No it does not seem to support quick charge.

Hey @Milimbar i thought about getting it because I'm basically out I the field working all day and I like to listen to iHeartRadio. My job can be very dirty and hard sometimes so I need a tough case . The other extended battery cases seeing very crappy protective wise. The zerolemon case seems very good in that respect. The only thing holding me back is the thickness. Would you say it is twice the thickness of the g4? Elaborate on the thickness please.

My review- 4 out of 5
Rather than spam the accessories board with my own review I thought I would post mine here.
Incredible battery life (comparison to stock battery screenshots included). Minimal to moderate increase in thickness considering the battery rating (8500 mAh). It's actually not much bigger/thicker than an otterbox case (picture included). I honestly can't say enough about how great the battery life of my LG G4 is with this. Seriously I spent last Sunday trying my best to drain it in a day and couldn't, and the battery life has only gotten better over the first 4 full charge cycles (per zerolemon it takes 6 cycles to achieve max performance). Seriously after one day I wouldn't have recommended it (size and bulk with moderate battery gain), after two days it began to grow on me (as battery life improved), and now I will use this battery all the time (why stop gaming to swap batteries?). When I did nothing but play DS emulator games all day (almost 12 hrs) and still had 30+ percent left when the stock battery only managed just a bit over 4 hrs and was at 15% made me a believer in this battery (battery saver just kicked on but by the time I took a screenshot the battery showed 1% more - common when doing something that drains a battery quickly over a long period of time).
Recharge times aren't that bad- it's always at 100% when I wake up and sometimes that's been only after 6 hours. I haven't actually kept track of the recharge time but it's surely not 12 hours or anything ridiculous. I would bet it's in the 3-5 hour range.
So if it's so great, why only 4/5?
Well, for starters, I am constantly pressing the wrong button on the back of my phone. I don't think it would have been too difficult to add a little bump or something for finger orientation (a small speck of plastic on the power button would have been great). I'm pressing Vol + or Vol - when I want to press the power button, or pressing the power button when wanting something else - which I have resorted to actually turning the phone over and looking at the buttons first. I also don't think the case was designed for anything but to hold the battery to the back of the phone. Don't expect it to save your G4 if you drop it on concrete. The sides flex out a bit quite easily, so I would imagine that your phone will pop out of the case if dropped (likely removing the zerolemon battery in the process). So the battery is great, but the case could be better/more rigid/more refined (thus 4/5 for the case quality and lack of attention to detail in its design).
Size is substantial as I stated, and even though it was less than I expected, I was sad that my phone doesn't comfortably fit in my Moga Pro Power anymore. It's doable, but angled funny. Not a deal breaker.
One other thing to note is you will be without NFC using this battery. The NFC sticker is inside the factory back cover, so anyone who uses android pay/wallet will no longer be able to do so. I personally don't use NFC at all, so I won't miss anything.

Mine doesn't have nfc.

I do not think mine has NFC either.
I will check when I get home, but there are no contacts on the battery to match up with the contacts on the phone for NFC.
I checked, and it defiantly does not have NFC on the battery I received.
That does not mean that they did not change it between when mine was made and what is currently for sale.
I doubt it though as they sent me this one to review. It is more probable that the listing is in error.

Remember that does not mean it adds 178g.
You remove the original back and battery and replace them with the extended battery and case.
Rough guess the phone with the extended battery and case is a little over double the original weight.
