[Q] NEED HELP Mobile AP disconnects

When I use the Internet via Mobile AP, everything works fine for approx 10 minutes. Then my computer somehow loses Internet connection. It is still listed as connected to the Galaxy Tab and the Mobile AP remains on together with the Tab's 3G connection on but the Internet on my computer doesn't work anymore.
I use the same sim card with Desire Z and all works fine when I use that as a hotspot.

Portable WiFi Hotspot problem

When I turn on my portable wifi hotspot in my 4x, and connect my other android phone on it, it connects but it cannot browse. But when I turn on the hotspot app of my other android phone (with the same sim card i used in my 4X) and connect my Optimus 4x, it connects and can browse the net. What do you think is the problem of my p880 guys? Ive tried some tethering apps but the same result.

My tablet works well with the wifi hotspot. Make sure that mobile data is on on the o4x, and dont use any tethering apps, just settings -> network -> portable wifi hotspot

I did that sir. data is on on my o4x. But when i connect it on other devices, they cannot browse. I think there is a hardware problem on my phobe. Or maybe i just need to wipe the data? What do you think guys?

I had issues with mine until I rooted it. All good after that.

[Q] can not use internet in anyway from mobile network but hotspot is working

My phone work perfectly until today morning, now I can't browse web ,going FB or use play store using mobile network. can't use anything that use mobile network. over wifi it work fine. but mobile connection can share to PC by portable wify hotspot. i am in V10e open, stock, not rooted. what is wrong with my phone. please help.

is there any accessory to attached to the note to use usb sim card for data?
i mean in my country 3G internet service on mobile is very expensive , while usb internet is cheap. so is there any accessory to be attached to the note works as usb internet

oh thats what you want. Then I dont know, usb internet, isnt that with a mobile network also?

In Egypt, we have mobile sim card and supports internet service also but with very high rate
and we have usb modem sim card for internet with less rate for internet service
i read about an adapter to use 2 sim cards inside the phone, where i can use 1 sim for calls, and the other slot will insert the data sim card to use it for internet with the less internet service prices,
so is there any thing can do the same? even if it is external?

I recommend you check if the devices mentioned allow data to be passed through from the usb module to the phone, instead of the phone passing it through via bluetooth to the module. That makes or brakes what you are looking for. The phone can tether bluetooth network for i. e. networking capabilities to laptop, but not sure if phone can browse internet the other way around.
So far several devices to research, In accessory section of this forum there some more threads, you can check them as well as device manufacturing websites
if it works, check additional battery as bluetooth in usage sips battery like koolaid, standby it depends but using it goes quickly.

Hi..
Forgive my silly question. Any way possible for xperia z to use mobile data instead wifi while connected to any wifi network?
I use to connected to wifi network with no internet access, just for transfering data.. While i want to still use internet from my mobile network. It keep act like search data through wifi network (of course it can't).. So, is there any way to force my phone to use mobile data instead wifi?

i just bought a wireless flash drive and i realized i cant use mobile data while using it so i cant use internet while sharing/streaming data from my drive.

Technically phone should support multi-path transport system, but phones work in the way to minimize data usage, so wifi have priority whenever ist connected.
It could be possible to make it work with custom kernel, but its just too messed up i think...
BUT
There is an app from xda:

that technically enable both connections, but it need root, and it doesnt support ftp/p2p
Also I personally didnt use it so you should read this topic before using it, and after that just check if it work for you.
