The goal of Omni is to experiment with Android development because we enjoy it. Omni isn’t better, just different. It’s another option for the billion Android users out there. Very smooth rom, no bugs noticed so far. Xposed also works fine and some features of Gravitybox [LP] work too like blurred lockscreen. Overall using it as a daily driver.

Gapps package
Everything seems to work fine until I flash the gapps package. Which gapps package should I use? I tried the opengapps.org package.
Camer app has some issues.
It clicks 1920×1080 size photo on 4.9 mp settings.
But i used other camera app and it works fine. Otherwise rom is awesome?

My GAPPS package
Try to search for benzo's GAPPS package. Google it, though I'll see if I can find the link. They worked fine but I don't see face unlock nor voice unlock in security. Is this expected and can it be added in?
I flashed 3 mm custom rom out of which omni seems to be most smooth.
I have one question though it doesnt have any theming app by default.Does layers manager work with this rom?

Layers manager works fine. And xposed framework as well
Best mm custom rom for now.
how is battery compared to stock ? I am hearing lot of battery leak in stock MM.

Installed and tried. ROM is sooo smooth, seriously, better than LP. Xposed is working (so i am waiting for fully working rom ). And yes, there is a problem with network switcher. It stays at LTE, and can't be changed to any another mode (2G/3G) BUT on selected LTE is only showing EDGE signal when i have HSDPA signal where i live.
Is this rom working with multirom? I can't check because I'm not in home. BTW. Great job and thumbs up.

The reason as to why your ROM is "super smooth and fast" is because it's just an ALPHA, and you had even installed a PICO gapps package - that's NOTHING for a device with 16GB storage. Basically, all CMs (I've been a fan of CyanogenMod since CM7) are meant to be fast, unique and smooth, but you can't really say that a CM ROM with only the most basic functions can be slow and bad. Especially on a powerful phone like ours.
And one more thing I'd like to add to those who are unexperienced - because you'll all lose DRM keys when you flash a non-stock ROM (which means awful camera quality at night and weird noise on photos), don't flash this ROM. It's not the time to do it, because you'll spend a lot of time backing up and restoring data. Better wait for a BETA version, in my opinion

Olivier, do you can recomended any GAPPS for this ROM? I using on LP HDPI (small) package on (for MM no exist builds), OpenGapps has having on LP problems as... After first logging lost pair Google services with Android (Sync account is lost) but after restart system is back,... And etc problems.

I don't see any issues after using this rom for a day.But the main disadvantage is I can't root my phone.I tried to flash supersu binary update but my phone stuck on boot logo.But I need root so I return to my RR marshmallow.I hoped to use this rom from now on but i'll have to wait when root support in Nougat version.Anyway this the stable alpha build yet.Anyone can use this rom as there daily drive.Though I'm eagerly waiting for resurrection remix Nougat version.Thank you so much for your hard work Chippa-a

You need to unlock bootloader first to use this rom.You only need TWRP recovery to flash this rom.

Good day can be done under the Xperia zl??
Installed and seems perfect! Any error till now. Camera works and takes photos. Only camcorder, doesn't fc but the videos captured doesnt play on mxplayer. And autorotate is not functioning sometimes.
Inability to root for now is the worst thing about this imo.
Btw, Awesome work bro! I'm using my XZR as spare phone, i can be a beta tester for you.

New LiquidRemix Builds for the beloved enchilada and the now welcomed fajita. Enchilada requires you to flash OOS v9.0.3 stable to both slots before flashing the ROM. Fajita requires you to flash OOS v9.0.11 stable to both slots before flashing the ROM. Do not ask if fingerprint is working on fajita this is a known issue and hopefully will be resolved soon. I am including a link to the latest and greatest smurf kernel. Please contact me if you find anything wrong in these builds that can be fixed and prepare to provide a log with it as well. Have used this ROM on the one plus 6 and now on my one plus 6t and can say this is the best ROM I have ever used ands down. nothing comes close to this work of art at all.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.

Hi... First of all thanks a lot for updating Rom, i have been waiting from long time, and I was just about formate with some other rom. I am not pro, I would like to ask about update.
If I install this rom now, and when u improve this rom as it is alpha version not final, how can I implement changes? Do I have to format and Install fresh or is there any other way to install changes.
Please guide. Thanks in advance.

Ofc, dirty flash is not a good way will probably cause performance lags and some issues so better clean flash i.e wipes everything excluding internal and flash again!

Lag can be seen in both Oreo and Pie, wait for stable release
Never thought I'd see an update to RR on this device

After Mohan's ROM, I thought this would never get an RR upgrade. Will be glad if bugs get addressed and this ROM becomes capable of being a daily driver.

i recommend a clean flash, but however its reported that it would do fine with dirty flash..
Procedure for dirty flash:
(1) Clear cache/Dalvik,
(2) Flash the new ROM files in the following sequence: Custom ROM > GAPPS > Custom Kernel (if any),
(3) Reboot to system.:fingers-crossed:

This is the Most Android Pie I like the most and it is my daily use rom now,
i am in the March rom but i have some issues, the GPS Is not locating most of the time, is it only me or is it some problem need to be fixed
the Whats app notifications only received if i opened the App.
any thing else is great about this rom

How do you restore your data?
Do you use migrate or titanium Backup?
Try reinstalling app from playstore..

Yes I usually restore my data using Titanium Backup.

do i need to have a certain firmware and kernel ??? or it work on all of them??
