INTRODUCTION
Hello everyone!
Presenting before you Android L Themed ROM straight from MT6582 to MT6592. Ported and modified from Android 4.2.2 to Android 4.4.2 and is pretty stable (Well few issues still remain but they are not big of a deal
This ROM is first in it's kind for MT6592!
ROM is themed based on Android L 5.0 It is clean AOSP based ROM (4.4.2) tweaked for ULTIMATE PERFORMANCE and is designed for devices running MT6592 Octa-Core chipsets.
ROM is compatible with following devices XOLO 8x-1000, Cherry Mobile Excalibur, Mobiistar Prime 508 and Infinix Zero (Infinix Zero users you don't flash this ROM as of now! Wait for my small patch or you won't have working cam)

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
You should be rooted and have custom recovery installed. Follow ROOTING guide and install RECOVERY and follow next steps.
1) Keep it SD card and reboot to recovery.
2) Wipe data/cache and dalvik and then flash the ROM, incase you get a bootloop (which you won't) then reboot in recovery wipe data/cache and dalvik TWICE then again reboot recovery from advanced menu and then install the ROM and reboot.
3) Will work with any recovery prefer using Philz. (Link above)
4) Reboot and keep patience as first boot can take upto 15-20 minutes.
INFINIX ZERO users make sure you have stock boot.img flash this mod first CAMERA FIX and then using SP Flashtool flash stock boot.img or else wait for my mod
NOTE : After Installing ROM will automatically reboot recovery to fix root. Manually reboot to system from recovery
BUGS
- At first boot it will ask to setup device, that time while setting google account keyboard won't work as keyboard is not enabled skip that part and manually enable keyboard later from menu. It'll work fine after that
- After you setup the device it will say "Unfortunately Setup Wizard has stopped" keep tapping on ok continuously and after 3-4 times you'll see a black screen then press home key from device (hard key middle one on your device below screen) and you'll go to home screen. I know you can bypass that! OR to fix this issue just open the zip with any zip viewer and go to system folder then app and delete the "Browser.apk" and install the ROM
- ROM can't take screenshot from "Volume UP or Down + Power Key" but hey Gravity Box is there! :silly:
- You may get error like "Unkown issue request from Google Play Music or Services". You must know it's from a lower Android and SoC port hence will be having some issues but Google Play Music works just fine. Uninstall it if you don't want it. Fixed Check Add-Ons sections for Fix. :good:
- You may see issue that Dolby doesn't gets enabled, but plug in headphones then open the option dolby it'll work. In case you are frustated with my work install this Dolby app along with it, This one will work absolutely fine Download HERE
None other. ROM is totally fine and has good performance and battery backup

ROM doesn't has Lollipop taskswitcher use "Fancy Switcher" from Play Store to get lollipop taskswitcher.

FAQ
Q) ROM is having bad RAM management?
A) It is due to so heavily tweaked. Play games then complain if it hangs or not.
Q) Pre-Integrated Dolby still doesn't work?
A) Uninstall it simply using system app remover I added in ROM and install Dolby from this thread.

yes, mine did not work as well. it seems that it does not create the data partition correctly, mine shows that the sdcard0 is unavailable. and hence wont boot.

One question please.
Will the rome work on any mt6592 devices?
My device has octacore ARM Cortex A-7 @ 1.66GHz ,Mali-450 MP and 5.5inch screen.
The device is Voto X6 (WEITU)

No this ROM doesn't has Lollipop taskswitcher. Use fancy switcher from play store. It is already mentioned in thread please read there.

If you're having problems in flashing things read this post
Flash the zip normally just like how you flash ROMS (Or specially if you want)
If flashing takes only seconds its an error, flashing ROMS must take atleast 5secs
If you are facing any FC in any part of the ROM try doing a full wipe or Keep Calm and Use Odin

What is not working?

I flashed update but not working,after flashed it show me,instal superuser.

Congratulations, this ROM is the best I have installed based on cm 7.2, however found some small defects: Gallery is not open, I can not install some applications the play store or by sd-card, sd-ext options are not working and sometimes the statusbar is with a shadow. Sorry my bad english.

Hello, thanks for the good work. I have same Problem. I can't install anything from the store. I tink, it must automatically change from Google Store to Google Play, but it wouldn't do. I have installed the fix, but doesn't work for me, same with superuser-update. There is a message, that superuser must be updated, but it wouldn't update.
And then, I have another Problem. If I reboot my phone, next time it starts up, I have to Setup my Google account again and again and also every changes I have done, like the brghtness.

have you managed to make it work (play store).. would like to try this, but im doing it for a friend who is a regular user and wouldn't know how to deal with these kind of problems that might "pop up" .. to rephrase do this fixes work?

1. Just install latest Play Store version from here - Play Store Apk
2. Now Flash this from recovery - Play Store Fix

internal storage is showing Total space 0.00B, Available space 0.00B? cant install play store (nor anything for that matter) because of that.. also flashed SU but it still cant update binary, im guessing its because of the internal storage problem

fixed it by flashing everything the same again on top of this ROM and wiping dalvik cache..
cant say if store fix works cause when i installed the new store and fix, and went to install an app and pressed install it just stood at the "downloading" and wouldn't start the download, rebooted and tried again and this time i got the "no free space" error.. went to see why cause there was like 125Mb free, and saw that now there is only 25Mb of free space.
also the SU fix doesn't work me.

Yes, Asus keyboard can be downloaded from play store.
Nano gapps might not be possible to flash due to less space in "system" partition, and i won't recommend u to flash since i odexed the gapps apks, u can manually install other Google apps from play store.
Signal loss, that's what the main reason for me which made me roll back to kitkat....i don't think it shud happen in kk.

Backup ur data partition in twrp, wipe all the partitions in recovery, REBOOT RECOVERY AGAIN (else u will get errors during flash), then flash my rom, after flashing restore the data partition and reboot to system...
If u face any issues with it, then try clean flashing only ,else u are good to go

Temporary workarounds:-
1.Go to /system/priv-app, tap on gallery.apk and install it, it will fix the fc issue
2.Go to /system/priv-app, delete gallery.apk and gallery.odex, reboot and then manually download asus gallery from play store...
Issue is fixed in the upcoming update, I'll update the rom once i will get some time.

I fixed the gallery FC in this update and also included ASUSBackup into system/app so as to detect installed apps also...
Let me know which apps are u talking abt IN PM.

Alright. Here's my report:
ROM is pretty stable but F2FS is not supported, so you have to install it on ext4 format.
Too much unnecessary app for me. Some apps is not working (Video and concept installer) or no longer working (TrackID). You know Xperia Loops will never work on 32 bit device like yuga, right? It's just a waste of storage.
Another thing, DSEE-HX is also not working, aaand will never work for yuga (I guess).
Man, I really miss this UI since Lollipop and Stryflex ROM.

Currently using this Rom, (previous tablet issue is boot loop, flashing Stock firmware via SP Flash tool), is there any chance of getting IMEI?

Adaptable storage doesn't seem to work unfortunately. I was trying to expand the storage to 64GB via the SD card but it keeps saying 'corrupted' or 'not enough storage'

i have a big problem i tried to install the ROM i installed the king root and rooted my tablet after that i tried to flash the TWRB but the tablet keep restarting and booting into normal boot i tried to factory reset my tablet it didn't work keep booting in normal boot again and never reset even my pc can't read my tablet when i connect the usb i don't know what to do please advice

you must to go in recovery mode

2.i can connect to a hidden network
3.vpn is connected but it's not working
