cancelled my order....but it still arrived?

Just thought I tell you that I cancelled my order for the 8 gig model post two days after I ordered it but then yesterday received an email stating that the thing was on its way over to me and arrived this morning???

Idk. Contact google again?

I tried to cancel my order but Google rep told me it had to be done within 60 minutes. It was nor really an issue because after I had bought a 16gig N7 at Sam's (saving about $20) the monet was not there for them to charge my account.
I called my bank and they told me there would be no nsf fee. No problems as far as I am concerned.
Google should fulfill pre-orders before sending them to retail outlets

Steal N7? People have no morals or ethics. It's disgusting.
The Truth of the matter is Google specifically stated in their terms and conditions of sale that there were no cancellations. As you are unlikely to have cancelled by phone (because they wouldn't let you) you have probably just used the support web page and sent it in. That isn't valid, your order is still good.
Correct way to move forward now is to phone them and request a return which they have said they will do if you have not opened the package.
The important thing to realise is that right now you have the device you ordered. Google's card processing system is catching up. If you have not been charged you you will be soon.

I didn't think they're was a cancel online, I did mine by having them call me, and even the first rep didn't do that right.
Eventually I called back and a different rep said my request to cancel never happened even though the first rep days before said he did it.
Second rep did it again and sent it off to the appropriate people. 24-48 hours later, I received email confirmation including the order number, was cancelled.

In that case you have a good set of history to now request they come at their expense and pick it up and return your money (if charged).
It would be nicer if the delays were not 60 minutes ha as a result of the level of borkedness of this release! Good luck.

If it says it was cancelled, you will probably get a knock on the door from a UPS guy saying that you have a shipping request. You can either a) say no, keep the tablet, get charged or b) give it to him, wait 2 weeks, get a refund from google)

All you can do now is either return the package unopened to UPS (You have 5 days) or sell it on Ebay.

No way he can get less than what he paid for it, they're all selling for a profit now. plus he might get his money faster since google refund will take a couple of weeks. However if he doesn't sell it he's stuck with it.

I contacted google last night and they said that they would send a email regarding shipping however, this has still not arrived. I then proceeded to put a complaint against google for ignoring my request for cancellation of the goods.
I bought this tablet in the UK so regarding googles policy it really does not matter if they stated "no Cancellations" as this wanders into the realms of "goods law" and statutory rights of the buyer.

I have told a friend at work that I have one for sale or return she stated that she wanted it at the cost £170. Shame, though it would have been nice to make enough extra on top for a cheeky pint!

Also forgot to mention I have already purchased the 16 gig variant through HMV at 190 quid. Also TESCO are selling these at 190 with the order number/discount voucher thing of TDX-KPHM if anyone else is interested.

If this is UK and you were charged, send it back under DSR within 7 days and they must refund you.

Everything's kinda held up right now. If I understand the dates others have been throwing around correctly, your phone probably won't ship until AFTER Tuesday.

I ordered mine Friday night at 10pm. Got it today. Funny thing is that I knew it was coming before the cs reps did... I called fed ex, told them that I had something shipped to me but didn't receive tracking. Gave them my address and that it was express, sure enough, it was in transit and scheduled for delivery 9/24... Checked the moto site and it still said that it hadn't shipped. I got my tracking in the email about an hour after I picked it up.
BTW. I freaking love this phone! It was everything I hoped for. And the cement back, blue accents and black front is gorgeous!
Edit*** didn't see the t mobile part. Mine was a custom from moto maker, so take my shipping experience at face value.

Sign up for Fed Ex's free delivery tracker on their site - it's your best way of finding out if the device has actually shipped to you. Moto has this bad habit of not letting people know they've shipped things.

I think I signed up for the correct thing with FedEx. However, I ordered Sunday, its Wed., and I have not had any delivery or email confirming shipment. When I login to the Moto X site, it still shows as "not shipped". Seems much slower compared to everyone else...

I did motomaker, so AT&T. Strangely, it still says "Not Shipped" on Motorola's website but I received it in the mail yesterday.

Phone being delivered tomorrow?

Just rung carphone warehouse to give them my pac code, and they told me that they already have the phone in their warehouse and it's ready to be dispatched and I should receive it tomorrow even though the phone is not due out until Friday. Will believe it when I see it!

Carphone warehouse systems are full of soot, so id take tomorrow with a bucket of salt, heres why:
this morning and 11.12 am i received a email to say my order was being processed
couple seconds later received another email saying my order was successful and that it had been processed and DESPATCHED from the warehouse, however i have no tracking number so when i called them up they told me according to their systems my phone had been delivered to store of choice and is just awaiting pick up, so i ring up said store to find.............. its not here and we don't expect it until thursday earliest!
I have my case and screen protector ready for the arrival in any case

I haven't even had a despatch email.. They just told me over the phone. I took it with a pinch of salt though. My Note 2 has survived another day
Have ordered case, screen protector and 32gig memory card in preparation.

I already have my 32gb card, sold my S4 and HTC one to my cousin as he smashed his one and now im using my ms note 2, hate the thing.
I want a 64gb card but not paying 30 for one, ill wait till they go down more

32gb is enough for me. I still have room on my Note 2's 16 gb card.
I will miss my trusty Note 2, but will use it as a back up phone until I decide to sell it on.

A tracking number finally showed up on my AT&T order, but it's standard shipping so I likely won't see it until Friday.

Still no vzw tracking info

I have an email from Carphone Warehouse saying its sent today with DPD on next day delivery, with a tracking code.
Tracking code doesn't register with DPD yet.
Also got a welcome email with username from o2, which is pretty useless as I cant log in without password, which I need mobile number to reset.

Just spoke to carphone warehouse again and they told me someone was giving out false information yesterday and no phones have yet to be dispatched lol

They really haven't got a clue. I only called them yesterday as I got an email saying there was a problem, they told me the problem was resolved and order was sent to warehouse for picking, and Id receive it today. I asked if he knew the phone was only being released on Friday, and he said he didn't know, and can only tell me what the system said..
Today I called again, and they say that it would dispatch between now and Friday, probably.
Then after that, email received saying it was processed and being dispatched with DPD tracking ref for next day delivery.
Final conclusion: its not worth asking them and it'll turn up when it turns up.

Just picked mine up at the post office, can't wait to get home and try it out.

For info, Carphone Warehouse are delivering mine tomorrow, confirmed by DPD.
I have however tried to cancel and will be rejecting it, as EE called and offered a super deal to stay, letting me upgrade early (GBP 200 of contract remaining) for free / reducing to 25/month with 109 for the handset.
Was going to be paying 28/month + 29 for handset with CPW on o2, on top of GBP 200 cancellation fee from EE, so a decent saving.

Question: What's the quickest way to get one? Has anyone ordered super recently and received an immediate shipping/arrival ETA? Or would it be best to go to the store and nab one?

I pre ordered on 9/30. My shipping label was just created on 10/11/14 and still seems to be sitting in a T-Mobile warehouse someplace because it has yet to be picked up by UPS. This is the first time I've pre ordered a phone from T-Mobile and it will be the last. I always show up at a T-Mobile store on launch day and walk out with a phone by 9:30 AM. As a T-Mobile customer for over 10 years you would think my shipping would be upgraded to 1 day air like a lot of others have. But according to my still up shipped tracking label, it's going UPS Ground.
Rather messed up that T-Mobile wouldn''t honor a first come, first served model. I could in all likely hood pre-order right now and have a device delivered before someone who ordered the day it started.

Same boat as you. Estimated delivery date is Friday.

Did you get tracking yet? I ordered white one Friday as well and they told me it would come in Monday if I did overnight. However, today they said it still hasn't been shipped yet and are not sure when it will now. Shipping was obviously refunded.

There was a loose ear piece grill on mine and Tmo had to order me a new black one today. They charged my card for a new phone with EIP just like the first one and they are shipping it to me overnight for Wed delivery. It's technically a new purchase and the 1st one will be a return.

I pre ordered mine and had it two days later. So I'd say having pre ordered but they will be showing up in stores and with that sweet $200 dollar rebate deal going on it maybe better to get one at bestbuy.

How they get it free? how much was one day air? Cause I preordered mine in stores on 10/10 and come to think about it they never ask what shipping rate I wanted... like when I ask questions about the phone like a week earlier over the phone but anyways if I can get back the shipping that be cool.. but I think they just gave me the standard shipping $6.99... but if I could gotten free shipping...

I was stupid last night and waited because I called AT&T and they told me I could use my 25% off discount for it in the store. I go to the store today and they are like sorry that's not covered as an eligible item. I am going to hassle them until I get the discounted price now.

25% off 300 is only 75, which is not as good at the T-Mobile deal was. Just doing the math, you had no reason to let AT&T cause you to pause.

After jacking up AT&T for 3 days I finally got got one at a discounted price. Picked it up in the store tonight. It is awsome , no I need to learn the ins and outs. Thanks OP

Ordered on Saturday 11/22 and finally got a confirmation Monday night. Status changed to shipping and I should be getting it on Wednesday
