About
MoKee OpenSource is based on the Google AOSP. We update our source code frequently to keep up with the latest development, and not forgetting to merge in special features of our own at the same time.
A small group of people from around the world who are interested in Android launched this project on the 12th of December 2012, and is committed to make this ROM better and better. Like most contributors of open source projects (Omni, CyanogenMod, Slim AOSPA etc), we are doing all these in our free time as our passion…
Since this project is open source, anyone interested can participate in the development (maintain new devices, contribute code etc). Newcomers are always welcomed!
Read here for developer application: http://www.mfunz.com/en/developer-application, you can host your unofficial MoKee builds on our server!

Is it stable/better compared to Exodus?

Yes, is stable like a rock

Wow thanks ! Nice to see some more developement on this device
I'm gonna try it as soon as possible

So I tested it today and so far I had only 2 issues :
1) the phone was getting hot (really hot, it has never been so hot on COS before) and didn't want to cool down, even when closing all apps and doing nearly nothing (Chrome browsing) ---> I had to create a battery life preset on kernel adiutor to get it cool as usual
2) When I come back home (with data enabled), disable it, and try to turn the WiFi ON, it got stuck on OFF with the message "Turning WiFi ON..." And I had to reboot the phone to make the WiFi work again. I had the exact same issue on COS, hope it'll be fixed
Otherwise, the ROM is great, awesome performances/fluidity, everything's working flawlessly
Suggestion : make the lockscreen wallpaper changeable differently than just with the themer (which doesn't allow us to use our custom wallpaper)
Also, implementing an option that allow to disable the vibration while unlocking with fingerprint scanner would be great

@deejaycarras Can you confirm this is working with my TWRP image?

Awesome, I just tried flashing and it failed due to device checks, K9 being chinese Z1 being international. Turns out I am not even on the latest version of my own recovery which doesn't check that. *derp*
Thanks for your work

!!!WARNING!!!
I can confirm this is flashable with TWRP
!!!CAUTION!!! : I found a kind of "FATAL" bug : When clicking on the LTE tile, it change the network mode to (W)CDMA (US norm, we, europeans, are using GSM) and it is IMPOSSIBLE to switch it back to GSM. As for now I tried to play with all the options in the SIM Management menu, Data and *#*#4636#*#* hidden menu, nothing as worked. I even performed a goddamn FULL WIPE (System/Data/Cache/Dalvik Cache) and then flashed Cyanogen 12.1 but I'M STILL STUCK WITH NO NETWORK/DATA ! I'm now gonna try to perform a full wipe again and flash COS YOG4PAS3OH to see what's happening. Anyway, !!! I ADVISE YOU NOT TO USE THE LTE TILE AT THE MOMENT !!!

This issue is there in all roms and you will hit it only in sim1. Try sim2 you wont hit this issue. Try to change the mode to global then network will be back.

What's global? only LTE / 3G and 2G options are here.
Can you explain a bit more?
I don't have this issue, but others

Can you try to change it from LTE to 3G when your active sim is in slot 1. Please check this for more information

Thank you ! Switching to COS and doing this made it work again ! (but it wasn't working on other ROMs)

Cannot confirm that. I switched several times from "LTE only" to "WCDMA preferred" and other settings in engineer mode and back (I checked if there is FDD-LTE B20 support).
What are your band settings in engineer mode? I modified several parameters in NV and now I have worldwide settings to choose from.

Since then, EOS has evolved into a multinational collaborative effort backed by top Android developers. Our objective is to provide a world class AOSP build with unique features and enhancements. EOS is an ongoing development project in which builds are released on a regular basis. Every release should be considered stable and highly functional.

Is the known CM wifi bug present?
Only for XT-1032
This ROM looks good I wanna try it out but I have a doubt. Is this ROM only for XT-1032 or MOTO G all variants ?? If it is for all variants then is it works fine on dual sim variant (XT-1033).
Thanks

no dual sim support at this time. convert to single
Using latest version.
Settings->Weather->select Celsius, immediate FC of Weather followed by FC of Settings UI and loop FCs, can't provide logcat as I can only hard reboot.
Interesting ROM.
This ROM is REALLY FAST! No lag whatsoever!
I have XT1033 converted to GPE. Can I flash this rom and most importantly does wifi issue (not able to connect to wifi hotspot) exist in this rom like most of the other roms?

ATTENTION EVERYBODY
as of September 14th you must change the file system of your system and cache partitions to f2fs in recovery. this applies ONLY IF YOU HAVE NON GPE. gpe edition does not have to do anything. but regular edition moto g needs to convert system and cache to f2fs. data is already f2fs on the non gpe moto g and i wanted to make it all f2fs for better performance. thanks and dont complain of no boot if you did not do this.

Hi !
I have installed this ROM today.
And I have few things to talk about.
First, PLEASE use the old fstab .... I need to test ROM regulary and I absolutly don't won't to modify their boot.img each time... I've personnally customize the EOS One to fit.
Second, the Weather stuff don't work. It FC Crash everything.
Thirdly (and finally), if you are a Team EOS memeber, do you know what they doing with their "l-preview" manifest ?
Thanks.
PS : Update your trees with some CM fixes.

[ROM] [5.1.1_r5] [UNOFFICIAL] [29/06] Paranoid Android 5.1 Alpha

Hey there! I'm just a builder who want to share with all of you the compiled sources of Paranoid (Credits to the team for all the work and gerrit patches I've used).
It's an alpha, so it doesn't have many features:
- It has an advanced power menu with options to reboot (recovery, bootloader, reboot), screenshots, etc.
- Head-up notifications have been improve (using Hover sources I guess)
- Ambient Display has been added for our device too (replacing peek at this moment)
- Quick unlock is enabled.
- Quicksettings' tiles reorder
- Inmersion mode with tile support
- OnTheSpot is now implemented, but there isn't any example of it.
- ParanoidOTA comes with the rom, but isn't functional right now.
- Another smalls changes and improvements.
- CM12 Theme Engine
- Linked volumes and expandable volume panel
- Added a standalone File Manager
If you want to check all the new stuff of every build please visit gerrit. It works fine with TWRP and also multirom.
All the builds like build 4 or newer, will be compile from sources, without adding any feature, so they will be clean builds. I will try to get new ones every month until the team release their own ones, so enjoy them, and if you like my work, click Thanks #StayParanoid

- Download the rom, the gapps you prefer and the root zip.
- Do a factory wipe in recovery (if you are updating from a previus paranoid 5.1 build just wipe dalvik&cache).
- Flash the three zips in the same order as above.
- Reboot and enjoy the rom!

Wooohooooo!!! It's finally coming!! :cyclops: Thanks for the build
many many MANY bugs with this...rotation does not work...even messes with rotation apps. Reboot menu only has reboot...no recovery or bootloader option. LTE 100% does not work...switch it on and loose data altogether. Rom will not flash in TWRP 2840...something about symlinks.
That's all I found before I got fed up and restored my factory backup. Seriously, thank you for taking the time to build and share this...I'm appreciative of that, believe me. This is just as far from usable for a daily rom as I've seen in a long time is all.

It's a shame that it has all this problems, but you have to remind that this is an alpha version , and for example you can find in gerrit patches for LTE that are in state of review, so if you want I can cherrypick them in next build.
About the powermenu options, you have to enable developer-settings, and there you will find an option to enable advanced reboot menu.
Finally with the build I will compile this saturday I will see what de can do to avoid the errors with the recovery, and also I will check the rotation.

Thank you. I totally understand it's a first build in early stages. I wasn't trying to beat you up...the problems could be in the source. I just wanted to let everyone know this shouldn't be expected to be a daily just yet, so they don't go in with high hopes and have them killed when all these things start going wrong. There are some builds that are definitely suitable as daily drivers as first-draft alpha builds, so it wouldn't be that surprising to find this one to be one of them, but unfortunately it's just not.

That's good to hear...would you please tell us what version of twrp you used? I tried 2840 and got the symlink error. I reverted back to 2820 since that's the newest I had stored on my pc and it flashed.....but with all these bugs I listed. Maybe it's not flashing properly still???
I had native rotation on and it didn't wok, so I downloaded Ultimate Rotation Control ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=nl.fameit.rotate&hl=en ) which works fine for me on 5.0.1 factory image....it was missing several rotation options with this rom, and the only option that worked was manual, which consists of a notification widget and clicking the angle of rotation you want, in order to change it....and it locks to that position. Like I said, maybe it messed up flashing...it definitely had some real issues. I'll try again and report back

SlimROM is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.
The entire SlimTeam works together to bring you this tailor-made beauty straight from Android Open Source Project (AOSP) source code.
All of the sources can be publicly viewed through GitHub and Gerrit.

Known issues:
*Motorola cameras will not work correctly when using non-stock DPI; Victara stock DPI = 480

*Root
Apply root via developer settings.
SuperSU doesn't work with the current cm kernel:
Until CM's kernel compression is supported by SuperSU, or until we switch to using a different kernel, the built-in root is our easiest (maybe only?) option.

The echo issue fix can easily be incorporated into the build, but have you experienced any downsides as a result of this change?

Hi,
I didn't noticed any problem yet. I did a call with the stock line (from remix rom) "--persist.audio.fluence.speaker=true", echo problem was there. Then I modified it to "false", reboot the phone and did a 5mn call and the loudspeaker was fine.
the other line was already set to "fluence".

A week now with this wonderful ROM... battery gives almost 6h on screen... Biohazard Audio working... just 2 random reboots... but still no found a cause... everything is working...
Slimroms has recently switched from Wednesday to Friday releases, and hosts the general changelog at: https://slimroms.org/#/
There still isn't much customization at this stage, so I'll continue uploading alpha builds, but I probably won't xda-announce them until they reach beta status.
OMS (the replacement for layers) is in gerrit, but I have no idea when that'll be ready for debut.
Cheers

I can't seem to reproduce the behavior on Slim. The date and time are always correct, even after I have the device turned off.
These victara builds use CM's device-code, but the ROM is NOT CM-based.

Yeah that'a the issue..... whenever I restart my device, its time goes back to build date and time.... I haven't used Slim yet but I found it on CM and all recent releases of CM based roms.... Guess CM code is resetting RTC at each boot but its just a speculation... Good to hear Slim isn't effected by this bug...
Has anyone been able to gain root access on this ROM? When i tried it, my clock and battery got all funky (Battery registers 4,007% and clock changes time at random) and wifi stops working altogether.

Root is built-in, enable it from developer settings.
When I use a root app, I get the expected prompt, and the device behaves as expected.

Yeah, this is currently a known slim issue. There's a frameworks issue, and Slim is waiting to see how OMS/substratum works, to decide whether to implement it or not... Glad you're enjoying the rom, there's a little bit more customization every week.

Great ROM. I'm not getting any LED notification, anyone else have this issue?

CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
Be careful, this is still a WIP, don't think that all is working FINE!

Hey guys!!!
First of all, THANK YOU for beying so quick and for keeping working for Nexus 4. Big up for you!
I've just installed the ROM and it's working fine by now (we already know the video recording issue) , except that i've installed Google Now Launcher but i can't make it work. It just doesn't show in the setting (only Trebuchet). Any one with the same issue?

This is not ROM issue. I've seen this on many mm ROMs too.
Do you have Google app installed?
To solve this, uninstall Google app (if you have it) and now launcher. Then install both of them from play store. That'll solve it.
You'll find many posts like this on internet.

Thanks m8, i will try that!
I have another issue with Gmail app, it always asks me to introduce an email address, despite already have 2 configured. If i press "take te me gmail" it says i have to "add at least one email address", if i add en email address it configures it in accounts but keeps asking in gamil app. I've read on internet about that issue but the possible solution (unsync, re-sync, remove account, put again, clear data+cache) doesn't work for me. If someone knows something else, please let me know
cheeeeeeers
For video recording use Footej Camera or Google Camera.
Configuring video to 720p and working.
Thanks for the firmware! I've encoutered some bugs:
After the installastion (CM+opengapps nano):
Settings->buttons->buttons and layout crashes "Cyanogenmod Settings" app
Settings->status bar options battery status style/battery percentage don't make effect (the battery icon remains default). btw, Clock Style works.

Can you include a radio that does LTE frequencies as an option that would be insanely nice

Moto Z2 Force
Code:
- Your warrenty is now void.
- You have been warned.
- Use at your own risk.
Introduction:
This is the Official Lineage OS 17.1 thread for the Motorola Moto Z2 Force, codename nash.
Join our Moto Z2 Force Development Discord server!
How to Install:
Please follow the instructions on our Official LineageOS Wiki page here.
If you don't follow these instructions, please don't expect support here. We also don't support 3rd party addons (Magisk/XPosed/Dolby/Viper/etc.), so please don't seek support if you use these.
Known Bugs:
Camera Mods don't work.
Official Lineage OS builds will not ever allow Moto's Battery Mod "Efficiency Mode" to work.
The EQ Apps for Audio Mods (eg. JBL2 App) won't work, and will crash.
Ultrasonic Proximity Sensor doesn't work -- No support present in the OSS Audio HAL. If it was written in, it wouldn't be used by anything in Lineage, as the normal proximity sensor works fine.
Notes:
Official Lineage OS builds for nash ship with full Project Treble compatibility! Flash GSI's to your heart's content after flashing Lineage. Please don't report GSI bugs here, report them instead to the GSI's maker.
Technical details on our Treble implementation:
Treble is enabled with VNDK29, and VNDK runtime enforcement. VNDK runtime enforcement means that unlike most "ported treble" you'll see, ours is just as it would be from the OEM, and can run GSIs. without need for hacks or additional flashable zips. We relabeled /oem to /vendor (as /oem isn't wasn't used in custom ROMs anyway). To use a GSI, flash official Lineage, then flash your GSI, it's that simple! Flashing a factory image will likely write over /oem and remove the mock vendor image.
Download:
LineageOS Updater
npjohnson's Personal Updater -- These are experimental, likely to break/eat your cat/destroy your data, and include GApps -- you'll only find support for these in the Discord linked above.

Hi devs!
Trying it out, seems pretty great! Very few bugs (not related to device probably, just LOS17).
Only device bug I've found is the camera focus: it doesn't seem to be focusing properly (or at all).
If you need any logs let me know - eager to help out.
EDIT: That's weird. Somehow after using the camera app and moving the thing around I got it to work again. Although it's sporadic at best - focusing isn't working reliably.
EDIT 2: Found what allows it to work sometimes: open and close the camera app briefly time and time again and it starts working.
Has anyone with Reliance Jio tried it? I'm not able to get VoLTE going. Phone info (*#*#4636#*#*) has VoLTE provisioned enabled but greyed out. IMS Service status says not registered for IMS registration, and Not Available for everything else.
I jumped to 17.1 straight from stock, so not sure if it used to work in 16.0. I manually tried adding the ims apn for Jio, but no go...

Adding to my quote here, I got incoming calls coming in! Only outgoing is not, the rest of the stuff I've reported remains the same. Also, the phone is able to query the status of Call Waiting and Call Forwarding, so IMS is partially working. This is a pure LTE provider, does not have a fallback.

I haven't tried the camera. But did you upgrade from LOS16, and did Jio work fine there?

Yea incoming calls are fine btw normal messages don't work either
Yes in los 16 everything is fine
in los 17(not 17.1)(the September 21 unofficial build) calling is working fine camera has same bugs there too tho
But if u want everything working los16 is the option
@erfanoabdi @ThE_MarD @npjohnson not sure if you had a chance to review this - while this installs in LOS17.1, does not really control efficiency mode.
However we can still see the battery % of the Incipio Mod:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/z2-play/themes/motomodbattery-service-lineageos-15-1-t3895041/
https://github.com/devilsclaw/MotoModBattery
I was looking for a way to find the mod's battery % and stumbled on this...
no signal
i dunno what im doing wrong but when i flash LoS 17.1 and reboot the rom start but i have no signal

Do you see your phone's IMEI in settings > about phone? Baseband version when you tap the Android version (10) in the same screen?
Magisk manager
I update LOS 16 to this 17.1 and everything seems to work fine, no real bugs. I've installed latest 7.2 google camera port from Arnova and picture/video/selfies are great. Phone calls no problems and it's a my impression but finally loudspeaker volume is higher than previous lineage versions. Only a question, maybe someone can help me, I've lost magisk root access, is it possible to install it with a temporaney twrp as in LOS 16 or is there any other method please?
[SOLVED] Maybe could be useful for someone. I tried the pie method: I've installed Magisk zip booting (not flashing) TWRP 3.3.1-0 (the 3.3.1-1 doen't boot on my device). Everything is working fine, I don't have any glitch and now my devices is rooted too
Getting Glitches when Playing Games Like Asphalt 9 also Same Camera Focusing Problem here too.
I'm seeing glitches in the home screen/ launcher too. Happens at random, gets psychedelic when unlocking - there are wavy lines (stock LOS17.1 wallpaper) on the image that move. Screenshot does not capture this, but I can take a photo if it helps figure the problem.
Messing with Developer Options (disabling overlay, etc) has not effect. Let me know if I can help troubleshoot...
Heyyo @ph03n!x, my nash is broken btw so I can't help too much.
Anywho, for the graphical glitches? Please try to go into your LiveDisplay settings and disable any special profile you have selected. I think those profiles are actually broken on nash hence the graphical issues when waking up the device after it sleeps.
Can you do me a favor please? Test my latest build of TWRP for nash. version 3.3.1-1 that contains a bunch of fixes and so far no feedback...
