I had started this thread in the Nexus 6P forum, was not in the wrong location to begin with, I was just letting my fellow Nexus 6P users that an update to Marshmallow has started to arrive. Having a Nexus, we should be getting it soon.

First development notes from JBQ, AOSP in a few weeks

Jean-Baptiste Queru said:
-Until the Jelly Bean source code becomes available in a few weeks,
it's not a suitable device for custom builds.
-To get into fastboot, hold the Power button for one second, release
it, and quickly press VolumeDown when the Google logo appears.
-When flashing via fastboot, run "fastboot erase" on each partition
before flashing that partition, as the bootloader doesn't do it
automatically.
-I'm hoping to make a factory image of the preview build available
after Google I/O.
-We already have the necessary licenses from NVIDIA and Broadcom for
AOSP Jelly Bean to run and access WiFi on Nexus 7, once it's released.

I think the last point is the most significant, we shouldn't have ANY issues with our AOSP custom builds!

You do realize that no one here is some executive for lg who knows this right? You're asking cellphone fans to tell you insider information that in sure most employees for lg don't know. You may as well ask who's going to run the super bowl so you can place your bets now and get rich.

You joined this forum in 2005 and have over 600 posts. You should know where certain posts belong (This is the general section, yet you posted a question here even though there's a Q&A section). You also asked for an ETA, You should know that members should never ask for ETAs.
Once we have a custom recovery (If you would have spent a little time looking in the development section, you would quickly realized that we don't have a custom recovery yet) i'm sure it could be ported. We all want KitKat, but sitting around and making pointless threads (like this one) isn't going to make it come any faster.
Thread closed, all discussion on Kitkat goes here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2733949

[INDEX]Nexus 5 Lollipop Release Build Thread[No Discussion on Release]

Nexus 5 Lollipop Final Release Build ThreadThis Thread serves to be the reference thread for all the stuff related to the release build of Lollipop which is going to be released very soon. Official Android Twitter account confirmed the lollipop release today.
Note:DO NOT DISCUSS ABOUT THE RELEASE SCHEDULE OF THE FINAL IMAGE.
Update: The download link is up. Get your image here. Link
Note:Please keep this thread clean and do not post any questions which could have been already answered in other threads and I believe there is a separate thread for such discussions. Also try to be as specific as possible when you report bugs so that the details about the bug would be added to OP in proper manner.
Enjoy the dessert guys.
Note to Mods: This is not the replacement thread to the Discussion thread you just closed. :highfive:
final isnt right. release version is right. as with other android versions, it will get revised, probably many more times than once. oh, still, i do not see the point to your thread?

To serve as Index thread to anyone who wants to get started with the Release Build. Some short guides may be added to the thread if necessary or the links to the basic stuff like 3rd party kernels and different mods would be definitely added. Peace.
Still can't see the links on the website, but download started, that's weird :')

Being rooted doesn't prevent OTAs, modifying /system does. That said, it'll still notify you and download the update, it will just give you errors when trying to install it.

I know everyone is very happy and excited about the update, but do we really need a thread each time someone gets an update?
Isn't this the place to show your happiness?

Of course we need a new thread for it! It's like, super important and stuff. I think a new thread should be posted for every single member that gets an OTA!!
WHO'S WITH ME??!?!?
I can't start a new thread because i installed it myself few days ago.:crying:
Tempted flash back 4.4.4, then wait for the OTA so i to can start a thread so i don't miss out.:good::laugh:
As mentioned we do not need a thread for each person who gets the update, many have already and it has been posted in multiple threads. Please search before posting and creating a new thread.

xposed framework for Android 4.4.4

I read in this main thread:

Does this mean that the latest version on this page:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-installer-versions-changelog-t2714053
Still works with android 4.4.4?
I am referring to the link within this text:

I am just double checking this because android 4.4.4 is old and things might have changed regarding support on 4.4.4.
Also I could not find a main thread where questions like these could be aksed, so I created a topic.
My apologies If I missed the appropriate location for questions like these.

That last link you posted is the most up to date for 4.4.4 you can get. Which device do you have that it can't get at least 5?
