[FONT]Full System Fonts! Clock symbol FIX! - Nexus 6P Themes and Apps

Hello fellow XDA friends! I am an extreme fan of Roboto Condensed and ALWAYS keep a zip of the font to replace my entire system UI. So if you are anal about your phone having consistent fonts, being Roboto Condensed, this is the zip for you! As always MAKE A BACKUP before flash even though I of course have flashed this multiple times every time I flash a ROM and have never had any issues with it. I do not have a revert to stock zip so PLEASE, AGAIN, MAKE A BACKUP, JUST, IN, CASE! I hope you enjoy!
Credits to this who create flashable zip files for me to use as a template to use for each device I am using.
Thanks to everyone who has helped me on XDA with not only fonts, but various tasks here and there :silly:
THESE ARE FLASHABLE ZIP FILES - YOU DO NEED A CUSTOM RECOVERY TO FLASH
To fix the [X] in your lock screen clock problem you can flash this: http://www.mediafire.com/download/bt2hz0t6osbghy5/Font_DejavuFonts1.zip
Credits to: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/themes/fonts-flashable-zips-t3219827 & @xxsashixx for the find - thanks again!
Big thanks to @THATTON for providing me with some great looking fonts to zip up
For any requests, feel free to PM me or mention my username in a thread post and I'll be happy to throw together a zip for you!

My Dropbox Fonts Folder (once this is confirmed working, I will remove the files from this post and put up screenshots of each font)

I've been trying to figure out how to get Bariol system wide. That's my all time favorite font.

Great Roboto font! Cool

Assume this needs root?

Yes it does. You have to flash in recovery.

It's been awhile since I root or have custom rom. I assume root device will not get factory update anymore, or does it? Want to keep the phone as vanilla as possible, but there's really some deficiency that only root app can fill.

Correct, no ota with normal root system changes. There is a systemless root, but I've not tried it...

I have updated the main post to be a bit more clear on needing ROOT and a custom recovery to flash this font for those who aren't as familiar! Enjoy

Added Bariol font per request, enjoy

Bariol FTW!!!!!! Thanks again man.

Happy to help and I'm glad it worked out the font does, indeed, look good! Though I can never leave my precious Roboto!!!!!!! :silly:

Any chance you could post a zip of the stock font? I liked my clock more before and stupidly didn't make a backup, and font changer apps don't change certain things including the clock for me.

So I grabbed all the default fonts from my /system/font & zipped them up.
I'm on the ASOiP ROM, so I'm not a 100% sure these are the same as Google's stock Android fonts, but you could give that a try if you want.

Is that a flashable zip? I couldn't get it to work.

[FONTS] 300 flashable system fonts with screenshots

Hello all - I've been putting together a collection of simple flashable fontpacks. Originally, they only worked on the EVO 4G, but I've updated and signed them all so at this point, they should work on any android phone - if you can flash a zip through recovery, you should be able to flash these. I'm updating pretty regularly, and I'm up to over 250 fonts right now. Check the link in my sig to get to my thread in the EVO section.
Enjoy!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801160
If you head over to the main thread, can you drop a note in this one to keep it bumped up so that more people see it?
Bump - just updated the main thread. We're now at a whopping 108 fonts!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=801160
This is cool man, so simple thanks.
bump - main thread was updated again. Now up to 132 fonts! And did I mention that most of the fonts have screenshots showing what the font actually looks like on the phone? Enjoy!
This is so cool. I just have to decide what font I want to use now.
Good stuff with a lot of possibilities!
bump - added some MIUI love to post 2 of the main thread.
Main thread updated - BAMP!

This is great. I really love some of these fonts, as I'm always looking to change something. One question. Is it possible to load up multiple fonts somewhere on my phone, then change them whenver I want? Or do I have to download a single zip file, copy to sd, reboot to recovery, flash zip, and reboot just to see if I like the look?
I might like one font, then want to change it 20 minutes later. Just trying to figure out the quickest way to switch.
Thanks again for posting these!!!

A reboot is always required when changing fonts - you cant just change them on the fly. Even with the various font changing apps out there, I've found that these packs are the quickest and easiest to use - grab say the 5 fonts you like best, and just flash the one you want to use.
Aaaand bump for some great looking fonts in the latest update.
Bump again - just added some fonts for the holidays. We hit our 200th font with this update too!
bumping this thread back up for those who missed it.
We're at 261 different fonts now - all flashable through recovery. And almost all have screenshots to see what they look like on your phone. Also added instructions for ADB and terminal emulator in case you don't want to flash.
bump again - just hit 300 fonts!

U must have ROOT -> S-OFF ->CWM Recovery. You have this stuff?
Thank you man
The one labelled 'Call of Duty' is actually called Bank Gothic and is used everywhere
Isn't posting these here like posting up a cracked app? I think those are all copyright. I would suggest open source fonts from here instead if thats the case.

Yes. Download zip file and extract the "system" folder from the zip to your /Storage Card/Android/root folder.
Start Android. It should work.

OK, sorry if this is a bit thick of me, but when I extract the zip there is also a METAInf folder - do I do anything with that? And also, what do I do with the dock in the extras folder? I can work wonders with CHT themes but find myself back in first grade as far as Android goes

METAInf folder has only the signatures for CWM flashing. Just do as I told you and it should work fine.
The apk's can be installed manually and docks png's need to be applied through the ADW or LauncherPro Dock settings.

Flashable Font Zips?

Lollipop uses a larger font family then kitkat
Though Chromium's app will change MOST of the fonts, it is definitely not system wied..
Whatsapp for example does not get themed & looks quite horrible after font zip flash
Yea looks like we are waiting for the devs to truly take over Lollipop
Font installer works good enough for right now
iFont works great as well

How to change the lockscreen clock font?

Hi guys, I'm trying to change the lockscreen clock font, but i don't know the name of the font to change in system.
Could someone tell me the name of the lock screen clock font in the system/fonts folder that i need to change? Thanks in advance
Usually that call is in framework. Would have to decompile the Apk and change it.
This link has zips that change the font throughout the whole system including the lockscreen clock.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2964304
If your running xposed theres an awesome xposed module called "Lockscreen clock mods" thats amazing. Id check that out, its what I use.

Digging up an old thread here, but I'm trying to do the same thing as the OP but on my nexus 6p. I've looked at that thread and tried to install a couple of them, but they don't seem to change anything, particularly not on the lockscreen or the clock widget font. I'm on stock marshmallow, rooted, with xposed. Any suggestions?
EDIT: what i'm trying to do is revert the system font back to what it was like with lollipop: i don't like how they bolded the lockscreen clock or the clock widget, so i'm trying to change that, if that helps at all.

Hmm... That may be part of the issue. I'm trying to use the stock lollipop fonts. Which should I download to get my mm phone to look like lp?
Idk what change in the system/font folder from lp to mm so with the N6P being on mm flash an mm font zip. For a font that looks like lp you're gonna have to scroll though the thread. I always used something other than stock. I'm sure there's one that is similar. Unfortunately I can't help with that!
How do I know if a font is written for mm or lp? The thread says they work for both...?
