Review- The Choetech 3-Coils Fast Wireless Charger - Galaxy Note5 Accessories

This is a brief video demo for my review of the @choetech 3-Coils Fast Wireless Charger. I received this review device from Choetech today and I love it.
Wireless charging allows for my phone to simply be placed on the charging pad and fast charge without having to plug anything into my phone.
Wireless charging is available on many devices but Fast Wireless charging is limited to Samsung Note 5 and S6 Edge +. My phone with charge from dead to full in a little over an hour. In total, it takes about an hour and twenty minutes. That's amazing.. The T513-S 3-Coils Fast Wireless Charger and chargers compatible with your device, can be purchased at www.choetech.com
https://youtu.be/mkeaUB3in_I
You can grab this device for $36 and that's way less than most others. The build quality is great and it charges my phone perfectly..

Great Charger
I picked up one of these chargers as well. It's a great product at a great price. If you are looking at getting one of the fast wireless chargers, it's about 25% less than the Samsung OEM one, but does just as good of a job, if not better. I have both and before I got the Choetech one, finding the "sweet spot" to charge my phone sometimes took me a couple of tries. With the Choetech I don't think I've ever "missed" putting my phone in the right spot.
The only knock on this versus the OEM one is the light is pretty bright. Much brighter than the original. I had my Choetech charger in my bedroom for the first night of my test, but had to take it to work as the light woke me up at night.
Other than my own personal preference, this charger is great. If you are looking for a fast wireless charger, I'd highly recommend going with Choetech.
You can grab it from Amazon: http://amzn.to/1m0oFnA

Unfortunately it only works for Note 5 and S6 Edge plus. Is there any fast charging receiver?

KiDiGi OMNI LC-UMB Rugged Case Compatible Galaxy S6 Charging Dock

Because of my issues I'm having with wireless charging pads and docks, I'm considering this universal dock to replace the one I've been using.

The best part of it is that it is a true universal dock, with the Micro USB connector being able to pivot forward and backward, as well as the unique ability to raise and lower the connector by turning a dial on the back of the dock:
My current universal dock just can't be modified enough to fit my S6 Edge with a very thin case on it, but this looks like it will fit just about anything. They also offer it with a reverse connector for those phones with the USB connector facing the opposite direction (Google, HTC, Windows, OnePlus).
They can be found for purchase on sites around the world, I don't work for the company, I'm not posting any links directly to product pages. Their own website incorrectly lists the LC-UMB as a fixed dock compared to this adjustable one, so there may be some issues with posting a link anywhere anyways.
Looks great, what are your thoughts?
Is this Dock compatible with fast charging?
I have a few Myrin Charging cradles which has been compatible with all my Android phones and tablets but it uses it's own propriety USB cables which does not support fast charging. Link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/330827203249
it looks okay

I'll let you know soon! I have my Fast Charging adapter in my charging valet right now ready to go for when this arrives, and hopefully it will "pass through" the charger. In the past, my Seidio Innodock Jr would allow the previous king of USB adapters, the OEM Samsung 2.1A that came with the S5, to charge the device at 1900mAh as read from the Galaxy Charging Current app, so that's about as good of a "pass through" charger as one would get. But only time will tell, I've received a message from the place I ordered it that it has shipped and I should receive it sometime this week.
Just received the dock and can CONFIRM that Fast Charging does work on it when connected to the correct adapter. Fast Charging shows up on the pull down notification bar. This dock is solid, very nice looking, and should work great with future devices as well, no complaints so far!

quick car charger 2.0

I just bought iVoler car charger to try it because the price was low and the reviews said it was quality made. I Just received this the other day, and I plugged in my Droid Turbo and it said Droid Turbo detected, so it indeed does support the Qualcomm Quick Charging feature! Charging was fast and held strong with my Droid Turbo. Charging the battery from 0 to 50% in about 30 minutes. And the 6 foot USB cable is of good quality and really nice. It also fits into my Droid Turbo with a nice click, and fits well around my case. I will definitely buy more of these!
The great product need to be shared.

I'll second this great recommendation. Thanks Bro!!!! I was worried when I saw it came from hong kong but it is quality,. The cord it nice and long and lightweight so it won't pull on the phone while it's connected to a mount on the window. The phone notes that it is turbo charging and I am very pleased with it.
Thanks for recommendations, just ordered one
Someone tested this?

+1 to that, and if you get the right one it will have 2 USB ports on it. On for standard charging & other is QC 2.0
I personally love the "Tough Tested" USB cable, from miczo.

Fast wireless charger by Choetech

Fast wireless charging is finally here! Personally I have not been too much of a wireless charging fan for the fact that it took longer to charge a device than a normal charger. Let alone the fact we have quick charging options as well. Fortunately, we are not seeing devices come out with fast wireless charging support. The Note 5 and the S6 Edge+ are the first to lead the pack with fast wireless charging support. Samsung does have their own fast wireless charing, but it’s kinda pricy. Good news though! Choetech has made their own fast wireless charger and it works really well.
The Choetech fast wireless charger has been a great wireless charger. They have definitely won me over to the wireless charging side of the force. In the past prior to fast wireless charging wireless charging just wasn’t a big deal to me. For many people wireless charging is a deal breaker, but not for me. Honestly, it’s still not a deal breaker for me. At this point I do want to have at least some sort of quick charging. I love to be able to charge up a phone in a short amount of time. If you ever used a Galaxy S6 you know that quick charging was a must have feature on that phone because of the horrible battery life. Fortunately the Note 5 has redeemed the GS6 with much better battery life. Regardless, for those who like wireless charging and quick charging, Choetech has you covered.
From my experience with Choetech’s fast wireless charger has been a great one. Iv’e got no major concerns at all with this charger. Some of the features I look for in a wireless charger is if it recognizes the devices quickly, charges fast, and does not slide around on the surface. Choetech’s meets all my requirements for a wireless charger.
However, I think there needs to be some improvements. Such as…
Ditch the gloss finish. Nobody likes a fingerprint magnet.
The bottom needs a stickier grip. While it does have a rubber ring, it needs to be a little stickier. The best I have used is TYLT’s wireless charger that has a sticky material that holds well in place.
The needed improvements might be a preferences, but I think everyone would appreciate the mentioned suggested improvements over what the current build quality is like. The current setup is good, don’t get me wrong, and I still think the product is a 5 star rating.
In my opinion, to enjoy the Note 5’s or any other fast wireless charging device, this is a must have accessory. There are two versions that Choetech sells, which is one with a charging brick and one without. Each box does contain the pad and wire needed. Just make sure if you need a charging brick that you get the appropriate one. You do have two color options between white and black.
Buy the Choetech fast wireless charger by clicking here.

Slow charging, 9 hours till full from 23%???

Is there a work around for the phone not recognizing a non-OEM charger and charging slowly? There HAS to be a way around this! My G2 is currently sitting at 23% and it says that it will take 9 hours to charge till full!?!?! Even with a generic charger there is no way it should take 9 hours to add 77% to my battery. Any suggestions from anyone, other than buying the OEM charger? I know they're only $10 on eBay but if I could buy one I would have.

What cable are you using? Cheap USB cable have small gauge wires that cannot carry the current this phone draws and will create a large voltage drop which eventually terminates or slows the charging process.
I have a cheap 1A knockoff car charger and use a very short USB cable (1ft) and my phone charges almost as fast as at home.
T
EDIT: Also check the USB port in the phone - if there is lots of lint in there, it prevents the connector from seating and making good contact.
The USB port is fine but I'm using a 2.1amp plug that supports quick charging and a regular 6ft microUSB cable. Still getting the "charging slowly" message.

Must have been a problem with CM13 or something. After restoring my stock backup I no longer get the "charging slowly" message and the phone definitely charges fast now.
I would try charging while completely shut down.
Yes its an issue with the rom you are using. I would suggest you use stock lollipop rom with dorimanx kernel to get the most outta your device.

[review]RAVPower Fast Wireless Charger

RAVPower sent me their latest wireless charging pad, which is capable of fast charging the Note 8 and other compatible devices up to 10W wirelessly. I've used many RAVPower battery banks in the past, but had never used any of their chargers and have to say I'm very impressed with the build quality. I've had countless Qi pucks, stands, pillows and other contraptions since first getting my Nexus 4 and the build quality of this is up there with the best of them, probably only rivaled by the second generation square Nexus charger, which is an all time favorite of mine. The RAVPower charging puck is very hefty due in part to an aluminum base, and the weight and rubber feet ensure that it wont slide around your desk or nightstand. The top of the charger also has a rubber ring with just enough grip for the phone to stay right where you left it down, and not move around if your desk gets bumped. On the front is an unobtrusive LED which has different color patterns to let you know not only if your device is charging, full or something is wrong, but it also differentiates when it is fast charging versus standard. The pad itself has a way to detect non-compatible objects and shut the power off. I had no problem charging the various Qi devices I've got around the house, and the LED is dim enough to not be bothersome in the dark. As an added benefit it turns off once your device is charged.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that RAVPower includes a QC 3.0 24W wall charger and a 3.9' braided microUSB cable. Personally I would have rather seen it use Type C, but at least they are both high quality add-ons and not a cheap afterthought as they are with many of the chargers I've tried. I initially made the mistake of trying the wireless charger with a USB hub I had, but the light just blinked red and it wouldn't charge anything. Turns out you need to use a charger that's capable of providing 9V in order for it to work. Once I used the included wall adapter things worked perfectly. Overall this is a great little package that'll provide full speed fast wireless charging to your Galaxy and Note devices, as well as work with the upcoming iPhones for all of you defectors out there . I'd highly recommend this, if you want to try it out they provided me with an XDA exclusive code XDABRAIN which gets you 20% off through 10/15 http://amzn.to/2ybD5qZ. (For those wondering, I'm not receiving any commission/kickback/other compensation for this coupon or link.)
