You recovered succedfully your IMEI? If you did can you please make a little tutorial how you managed that? Just in case it would be helpfull to other people.
Did not work imei still 0 I think it has something to fsc as the image is blank
I think imei doesnt stored into these hub dhub or fsc partitions..,
Imei and other private informations are stored in pds partitions and every device has its own pds partition.

That's bad. If the moto g 1st gen threads are an indicator, then you are screwed.
There's still no way of recovering a lost imei if "fastboot erase all" was executed. (Who in the world told you to do that? It is well known that this command will permanently brick moto g). And even if you could somehow get an imei through flashing someone's backups, your provider would kick you out of the network because of an falsified imei (it's a unique number, assigned to the phone).

Yes. The system will report imei=unknown if pds is corrupt, read-only or in any way not accessible to the system. Then there it's a good chance of restoring the imei. But after "fastboot erase all" the system will report imei=0 and that is the end of the story. Motorola doesn't give any tools or information on how to manipulate imei.

That's probably the only solution. They will most certainly put a new board into the device. Won't be cheap.
You don't have pds partition backup?
Yes I do PDS is perfect

Doesn't help with "fastboot erase all"
i think
it isnt
cat dev/block/mmcblk0p22 >/sdcard/fsc.img
it should be
dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk0p22 of=/sdcard/fsc.img
Dont know how
but my imei is still 0 but my signal returned and all is working again i reflashed partition hub before it has worked again i used the one provided here my g is healed <3

OnePlus 3T Factory Restore Utility

I have the factory restore utility available for the 3T but not sure how to upload it or link to it since it exceeds the allowable upload size limit. It's a 1.2GB 7z file.
Split it up with WinRAR and then upload it to gdrive, Mega, mediafire... The server is up to you!

I'm ~30% done so should be downloaded for me in ~60-80 minutes+.
Thanks.

I've got the file downloaded, unpacked, and am wondering if there's a README that came with it? I can see a lot of the usual ways to use the components via fastboot, etc, but thought this was meant to be a .. "utter disaster recovery tool" ;. Or am I missing something?
Yes, it is and utter disaster recovery tool.
You may need the qualcomm drivers - 64 bit windows driver is attached. I believe mine autoinstalled without needing the files
**** NOTE: This procedure will completely wipe your entire device ****
To use the recovery tool.
1. With the phone turned off, press and hold the volume up button while inserting the USB cable attached to your PC.
2. Windows will recognize the Qualcomm driver and if you're lucky will auto install the driver.
3. Run the MsmDownloadTool V3.0.exe file with administrator privileges (right click and run as administrator)
4. One of the lines in the window should show COMM or something that is not "No Device" when your phone is attached and recognized as the Qualcomm loader
5. Click on that line item, then select Start
6. The whole procedure should take about 5 minutes and the line item will turn green when completed.

No problem.
I've used a very similar tool previously for my oneplus one which would not power up Hopefully I won't need it for my 3T !
Here are the missing Qualcomm 64 bit drivers.
Can we make this a sticky or mention in the OP the recovery procedure from post #5? I know this will become invaluable later on as the few devs that bought this phone start fully getting into test mode.
Delete fixed. Never mind.
You should place this in general with the guides in the op with some pictures , I think many will benefit rather than diving through the QnA section for it
if i restore factory mode.what's the next?

I agree: Over on OP and here, I find myself recommending this guide and software nearly each day to someone that just "bricked" their phone. It's really good. As was just said, sticky it in "Guides" area. Thanks.

I used it without issue on my 3T. Are you still seeing the problem?
I uploaded it on megaNZ but I can't send links in here, so if you want it, send me a message. Btw: Thanks for the torrent, works perfectly!

Yes, but on the original file from the support.
That's correct. I repackaged the files without a password after tech support extracted them via a remote session on my PC. Their archive password was very long with lots of non alpha-numeric characters.

Unable to Enable MTP in TWRP Recovery .

I have unlocked the bootloader but when I boot into Twrp recovery and Format the Data then I am unable to Enable the USB in the Enable MTP section . So, because of this I am unable to transfer any files and I am unable to root my phone . Please help me . Thank you .
I have the same issue. Even if I disable and then again enable mtp, the internal storage isn't displayed on my computer. I had formatted data. Because of this I cannot even load any OS zip and my phone is just with no OS. It's not working on any version of twrp posted in the official twrp page for the x526. Can anyone help? It's urgent.
How can I transfer files from my PC to x526 when it's in TWRP? Reinstalling Twrp or Full device wipe didn't help either.
Disabling/Enabling MTP makes the disconnection/connection sound on my PC ,but No x526 data disk is displayed.
Can anyone please reply? Is MTP transfer working fine for everyone else?

1. Usb type C otg cables are costly
2. I'm not looking forward to an added hassle of moving files into a flash drive when there is an option to directly put files in root memory.
Here is the solution :-
1 open twrp recovery in your phone
2 connect the data cable to your phone and your computer
3 in the recovery click on ENABLE MTP option
4 after that download MINIMAL ADB AND FASTBOOT SOFTWARE IN YOUR COMPUTER i will post the link
5 install it on your pc and copy any file you wanna past and past it in the c drive programme files x86 minimal adb folder
6 than open the cmd by shift and right click open cmd here
7 in cmd type 1st command - adb devices hit enter
2nd. adb push (file name) without breakets /sdcard/.
Done your file will be copied to twrp and now you can easily flash a rom , file etc.

It's a very roundabout way of doing a simple thing.
Does mtp work for you on your x526?
If yes which version /variant of twrp are you on?

I have the same problem as you have with my cm 14 version of my Ray. I just hear the USB-off sound when plugging in and out the USB cable but never saw a drive symbol on my laptop (Windows 7).
I would wish to find the answer why it doesn't work.
However, I found a way out:
The only file transfer method that works fine is USB-OTG.
Hope that helped...
Best wishes.

Just wanted to let you know you saved my life. 3 Years gone but still helpful. Thanks a heck ton!
For me, it worked by using a USB2 port instead of USB3.
