Font problem? - K3 Note Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I have kind of a weird problem.
I have the K50-t5 (or K3 Note) And first used it with the stock rom.
I also have the zgpax S28 smartwatch. (very cheap smartwatch but works pretty cool)
The thing is: With the stock rom the messages send via bluetooth to the smartwatch are all being shown as 0. So for example when I get a whatsapp message the smartwatch says: whatsapp: 0. It doesnt show the whatsapp message. Funny thing is that with my samsung galaxy s3 mini ve it all works fine (which is an original european device)
So I switched my k3 note to a different custom ROM and another one, and another one. Until now no succes.
I think it has something to do with the native font inside the device. Since it's chinese the native font inside is a chinese one (inside telephone settings check font). I also tried downloading a different font. But that wont change the font at all. Only the font on my keyboard was changed the rest of all the font inside the phone remained the same.
I'm not sure if it's the font that causes the issue but so far it seems like that's the problem. And every single custom rom is based of the chinese one. at least the ones that I found on needrom.com
Ideas anyone?

[Q] Calendar bug after update or replacing a stock app

Hi all,
I've updated my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (Wi-Fi) to a new version (the one with a custom Sumsung skin) and now the Calendar app (which I use quite heavily) is partially broken: setting a different "First day of week" does nothing in week view (the month few does appears to display correctly). It's quite a problem as in my region, Sunday is not only the first day of week formally - but also an actual first working day, and the half-sized space at the end of the calendar doesn't really help, even leaving along the fact that it does have to respect the setting and display it before Monday. If anyone curious - I've attached the screenshots to demonstrate the problem - one from week view and one from month view, both with Sunday set as the first day of week. I tried to report a bug to Sumsung but couldn't find any way to do so - Samsung Galaxy Tab support page appears lack any kind of feedback besides writing a review. Does anybody know a way to get a bug report report to them?
Anyway, the real problem is that I'm unable to replace the app with the previous one. I though it should be easy - found an stock Honeycomb Celendar.apk, but when I try to install it, after it asks for permissions and I click "Install" it just says "Application not installed" without any additional info. So how do I get the damn thing replaced with a working copy? Or maybe there is another way to fix the problem I have?

keyboard dock and jelly bean

I've updated to Android 4.2.1, kernel 3.1.10-CyanogenMod+ [email protected]#1, cyanogenmod ver 10.1-20121222-unofficial-p5wifi
Everything seems to be working but Samsung keyboard dock. Can charge via dock but keyboard not working. Blue light comes on briefly.
Any ideas?

Yes. Read my posts.
Hate to start here with a question but..
I flashed the latest build CyanogenMod 10.1 [2013-Jan-25] (factory reset, dalvik wipe, formatted /system) and it's fantastic. Keyboard dock functioning mostly as expected, I knew some buttons wouldn't work. But my keyboard has nordic layout and for the life of me I can't figure out a way to change the input language.
I've tried every option I could find in Language & Input, even custom finnish layouts (qwerty, PC), to no avail. Everything only affects the on-screen keyboard. I even replaced Generic.kcm in /system/usr/keychars/ with a finnish version, nothing. Couldn't get any relevant info from logcat either, didn't even show input device events as far as I could see, just dock status changes.
Any ideas what I could do?
Its most likely an issue with the rom. It's brand new and all the bugs aren't worked out. Wait for updates.
God promised men that he'd put beautiful women in all corners of the world. Then he laughed and laughed and made the world round
I just went back to "stock" (ICS 4.0.4 StockRom_Discovery V6.1) and the keyboard works perfectly (all buttons, correctly recognised as finnish). Yes, it is a rom issue, but here's the catch: it's not because this is a new rom, it affects other roms as well.
My device is P7310. I was previously using ICS 4.0.4 AOKP Build 35. Same problems as in CyanogenMod 10.1.
P7300 at work, running JB 4.1.2 CyanogenMod 10, same problems again.
So, there appears to be some fundamental difference between stock and modded roms regarding keyboards
UPDATE: No change in 4.2.2 CyanogenMod 10.1 [2013-Feb-16]. Reported to tab89cm google code issue list.
I've been trying to debug this between the 4.0.4 stock rom in P7310 and 4.2.2 CyanogenMod 10.1 in P7300, as well as comparing pershoot's and samsungs kernel sources. Here's what I've found so far (which isn't much):
Dumpsys verifies that both roms use same files,
KeyLayoutFile: /system/usr/keylayout/sec_keyboard.kl
KeyCharacterMapFile: /system/usr/keychars/Generic.kcm
They are practically identical in both roms, only difference being three function keys commented out in CyanogenMod.
sec_keyboard.c in the kernel sources are also almost identical, and don't seem to have any difference that could affect locales. Both have scancodes for US and UK keyboards and default to unknown layout for other codes (which is then logged: pr_info("[Keyboard] Unkown key layout : %x\n", scan_code). Although here is one difference, in CyanogenMod dmesg output I don't see the "Unkown key layout" ever being logged unlike in stock rom, although both log a UK keyboard being connected. Relevant snippets of dmesg output when connecting the dock in the attachment.
Another oddity I found was when I tried comparing keycodes and scancodes with Chris Boyle's keytest app. In CyanogenMod all functioning buttons give keycodes and scancodes. However in stock rom very few buttons produce scancodes, most just show scanCode=0 (which should be impossible?). And then there are buttons that don't produce anything, like scandinavian characters..
So what now.. I suppose I could edit the sec_keyboard.kl and Generic.kcm together, but that doesn't really solve the problem itself. Not to mention some of the function keys don't work for anyone, even using regular layouts, so perhaps a keen developer could take interest..

Language Help

I also posted this in the ZVB MellowMallow thread, but no one was answering so I'm also posting it here.
The problem I'm having only exists on the MellowMallow ROM. Stock ZVB and ZVC seem to be working fine. Here's what the problem is : The language Korean doesn't display properly. It looks like this : ㅇㅏㄴㄴㅕㅇ, all disconnected and unreadable. The first 3 "letters" of that word SHOULD be combined into one "sub-letter", same goes for the last three.
This is how the letters SHOULD look like : 안녕. (I'll attach images in case the browser is unable to display korean, the first screenshot is how Korean SHOULD look like, second one is how it's displaying in MellowMallow right now, so incorrect.)
This bug can be partially solved by setting the system FONT to something else (settings, system apps and a few other things seem to be working fine with a different font, but Korean apps in the Play store, videos on youtube, Chrome, etc. still have problems displaying Korean properly.)
As for solutions, I tried resetting / wiping cache from recovery mode, going back to stock ZVB (Korean was displaying correctly when I did this, so it looks to be something exclusive to MM) and re-flashing, asking for advice from a local tech forum, and even going to an LG service center to see if they could work something out. Obviously, none of that worked.
I know the developer of the rom stopped development for this phone, but I just see no other way to solve this issue as I have no knowledge on editing build.prop files / things of that nature, so I was just hoping someone could help.

****! Help!

Hi, to begin if this is not the subject my sincere apologies, as you will see, I am new.
I have two appointments.
1- What would happen if I put the firmware of the Samsung J120M in my J110M. I've searched everywhere for a rom for the J110M and I do not find it, it contains Android 5.1.1 lollipop (But **** haha, it's ugly) the J120M also contains 5.1.1 lollipop (very nice, updated apps, very smart.).
Like every member of the community (I suppose) I am very obsessive. I like that my android is extremely tidy and obviously I like it. So for this first point I want to know if at least the worst thing that could happen is that you have to install the J110M firmware via download mode. Because if I ***** I ****ed.
Now 2 !.
As I never found a rom for this cel, it took me to customize it on my own. I replaced the samsung browser (for a more recent version) I replaced the touchwiz launcher (for an s7 launcher with icons of this one) obviously replacing the apk of the system. I saw a subject right here, where a developer posted s6 apps for any samsung device with android 5.1 lollipop with touchwiz interfaces. But none served me !!. I replaced the default apk (obviously copying) from the gallery, added the samsung player, also from My files, etc. And each one when restarting the cell phone threw the error "Gallery has stopped" etc etc. I deleted the data and everything, even reset the cel several times and it did not work. So if someone tells me how I could make these applications compatible for this cell phone (j110m) I would be very grateful.

Setting time on the SM-V700, first-generation Gear

I bought this watch some years ago, but never had a Samsung phone running Gear Manager to control it, so it went into a drawer. I found it again recently, and now I'm determined to get at least some value from the device. I know that the watch can do lots of things, but at present I'd just like to achieve using the watch as a watch - meaning, it has to display the correct time. I believe it is running the original Android OS (pre-Tizen), and there is no internal UI to set the time. So what's the quickest way for me to poke the date/time into this watch? I've read about the history of the device, including Kies, Odin, Heimdall, updated Samsung ROMs, custom ROMs, hacked versions of Gear Manager, Tizen, Android Wear, sending strings with sdb, etc. Ideally, I'm looking for a utility that can set the time externally, or a ROM version that has clock-setting as part of its UI. Note, I still don't own a Samsung phone . Thanks for any advice!
