[GUIDE] Make Theme Chooser TouchWiz Full Icon - Galaxy E5, E7 Themes and Apps

On this occasion I want to share all my mods results on the theme for Samsung Galaxy, especially the Galaxy e5. But this guide can work on other Samsung Galaxy with Theme Chooser. Like the Galaxy A3, A5, A7, E7, J2 and more. I will keep this thread updated to section script and theme. For friends all the support yes please.
Terms :
Your device must Root.
Your device have Custom Recovery like TWRP or CWM.
Tools :
Root Explorer.
Text Editor or Notepad.
Apktool (Mobile or PC).
STEP 1 : How to display the hidden icon in ThemeChooser
Open the file "theme_app_list.xml" in the folder "..system/csc/here"
Add a new line with this
Code:
Align with the others.
Fill className with the target application.
Fill also IconId with your app icon name that will exist in the icon themes.
Save and exit.
Set permission 0644.
Reboot your phone.
One example icon youtube if you want to appear like this:
Code:
STEP 2 : How to create a Theme Support Full Icon.
After you add a script for example youtube, you have to add also in the theme. The following steps :
Take a sample of our mobile default theme, for example Natural2.apk
Decompile the apk through apktool.
Once the process is complete decompile go to the folder res/drawable/xhdpi/here and add a new icon with the name for example "theme_app_youtube_icon.png"
Go to the folder res/values/public.xml
Edit the line add id to youtube at the bottom. Align the id of youtube with other drawable file. Give serial number forwarding id before.
Decompile Apk, Sign, and Zipalign.
Install theme as normal apk.
Select your theme and apply.
Finish
But I know, for some people there who definitely do not want complicated. Easy version do you install the file below which I have edited so full icon theme. Install through Twrp, then install theme as normality apk.
Download : ThemeAppList_v1.zip
Install via TWRP let the theme full icon.

Thanks a lot, it worked for the java error.
But, there's another error in res/values/icon_pack.xml . When I copy the lines to enable the icon pack, it's getting the error: "The markup in the document following the root element must be well-formed."
Do you know what's the problem?

Again, thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate that.
I don't know where to ask this question but i'll give this a shot.
When making the theme, where do i store the dock background picture that i want to use for my theme? is it under drawables folder if so, what filename should i name it?
Thanks!

I don't know, sorry. I made my theme without dock background.
If u name ur docks provider right as the tutorial says then if u ad ur image to drawable hdpi like name it my_dock
In ur dock_pack xml. Do the
my_dock

And when u reload u should have it in ur dock background under custom ur theme I think lol just started myself and just fixed that problem

Really great work by X-zoom developer.... after updating to update-1 its looks like charme and nice.
we can say its TOP one ROm from all above of A60 custom ROm.
Great works.
One Small Bugs:
Add to home screen - Folder Option
giving message like: (Process.com.sonyericsson.home) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
How to resolve this issue.
Becuase due to space limit on home screen , we need folder option to put all related applicaiton in one folder like S2.
will this work on mf2.1???????

[guide][how to] TwWallpaperChooser.apk to add more wallpapers...[easy]

hello guys,
i m here to give u some information on how to add more wallpapers to the existing twwallpaper chooser.apk.............
it is very easy task & not require very high knowledge...........
tools required:-
1.) apktool/apkmultitool
2.) java runtime
3.) jpeg wallpaper images [u can get from google ]
4.) notepad++ [i prefered it for editing xml ]
5.) some knowledge about apktool /apkmultitool refer to my thread
guide:-
1.) decompile the twwallpaper.apk using apktool/apkmultitool........
2.)goto decompiled folder >res>drwable-mdpi
3.) add ur images to drawable-mdpi folder
u ve to add 2 images for each wallpaper
example --- abhi922.jpeg is the wallpaper & other is abhi922_small.jpeg
abhi922.jpeg should be a proper 640x480 image
abhi922_small.jpeg should be a proper 107x80 image
4.) goto values-mdpi folder
5.) open arrays.xml
it should look like this ----
Code:

<resources>
<string-array name="wallpapers">

wallpaper_default

wallpaper_17

wallpaper_18

wallpaper_desert

</string-array>
</resources>
now we have to add a new item to this for a new wallpaper......
add "
abhi922
"
now it will look like this :-
Code:

<resources>
<string-array name="wallpapers">

abhi922

wallpaper_default

wallpaper_17

wallpaper_18

wallpaper_desert

</string-array>
</resources>
tips:-
a) we have given it that name which we have assign to jpeg image......[ abhi922.jpeg]
b.) u can also add this line "
abhi922
" to any place as it will change order the of wallpapers in app......
6.) save this file.....
7.) compile again refer to my thread
8.) test & apply new wallpapers..
if u use this thread & make a new modded apk then give me credits
hit thanxxxx button for me .......nothing else.........
So simple so neat so comprehensive
Simply simple as always

best way to know that is extarct a wallpaper from your S5 SecWallpaperPicker.apk
then check its dimensions using any app from market or on windows photo viewer details..
then use that dimension to trim ur custom wallpapers...
also ---> u need to check that which folder contains ur wallpapers ... It will be like this --> drawable-sw***dp-**dpi
sw***dp can be any number like sw360dp or sw720dp or any other etc....
**dpi can be like xhdpi or xxhdpi or any other etc...
also ---> ur value folder will be different ... like --> value-xhdpi , value-xxhdpi or any other acc. to ur phone's display.
regards,
abhi922.

Hi guys,
I have done this for the S5.
Deleting the stock images and adding my own images. De compiled, added the new images, made the changes in the relevant .xml files, compiled and signed secwallpaperpicker.apk.
No errors when de compiling or compiling.
Added it to my rom zip, installed, but when I go to check from the wallpaper picker, I get "Unfortunately settings has stopped". When I go to install the secwallpaperpicker.apk file, it get message "App not installed" Permissions are correct.
Any devices please?

Hi abhi922,
Thanks for your reply - much appreciated.
I have actually done the same with signed and unsigned and still getting the same result.
I have extracted both framework-res and secwallpaperpicker.apk from the ROM zip, created framework files, decompiled the secwallpaperpicker.apk file, added a new image (wallpaper_12.png and wallpaper_12_small.jpg) to the image folder, updated the public.xml and strings.xml file, compiled the apk again without any errors. Did the following:
1. Signed and zipaligned
2. Unsigned and zipaligned
3. Signed
4 Unsigned
Copied the apk file back to the ROM zip using winrar (store), installed the ROM via Aroma installer. Everything fine till I go to settings --> Wallpaper --> home and lock screens. Getting error "Unfortunately, settings has stopped working. Getting error "app not installed" when trying to install the app manually from the external SD card (signed & unsigned). Trying to copy the apk file to \system\priv-apps using ES file manager, getting an error something about I don't have access and or folder is read only. Downloaded secwallpaperchooser.apk, added that to the ROM zip, then also getting the same errors/results.
Modified the alarm clock apk and it works fine.
Thanks and regards

How to change/theme your Lockring(the easy way on Windows),link added

Whats needed:
Windows
7zip or Winrar etc.
A ROM like CM,PacMan,Vanir......
your framework-res.apk
on KitKat you have to change pngs in Keyguard.apk which u find under system/priv-apps
A lockring you want as new lockring with same resolution
A Rootbrowser like Rootexplorer or
Aromafile Manager(link attached)
How to:
At first look for a lockring you whant to add as new lockring and download it and rename the lockring to "ic_lockscreen_handle_normal" and when available the circle to "ic_lockscreen_handle_pressed".Examples attached.
Than grab your framework-res.apk(you can use the one from your existing ROM,you find it under system/framework,just copy it with any rootbrowser to your SDcard)
Or you do it before you flash the ROM.
Now copy the framework to your Computer and open(not extract)it with 7zip.
Navigate to res and open drawable-mdpi/hdpi etc...which dpi your ROM have.
Now add your new lockring by copy+paste in this folder and close 7zip.
Copy the framework-res.apk/Keyguard.apk back to your SDcard.
Now boot in CWM and install the Aromafile Manager,now overwrite the frame-res.apk with the your themed one,set permission to rw-r-r-- and reboot.DONE!!!
To overwrite the framework or Keyguard you can use a rootbrowser like Rootexplorer to.

You can download lockrings from following link,but you need to resize them to your needed resolution before you can use.
