Stock ROM for 64-bit version (Telstra) - HTC Desire 510

I was running an experimental version of CyanogenMod 12 on my 510 but didn't back up the original ROM because I didn't feel the need to. Now I want to revert back to the stock Telstra ROM, but I can't find it anywhere.
I was under the assumption that the kernel source available from HTCDev was the OS, but I soon realised that I couldn't flash it onto my phone because it's just source code. So what can I do with that? Do I compile the code into a kernel and flash it onto my phone? Will that give me the stock OS with the Telstra splash screen?

I found a NANDroid backup for the Telstra 510 that someone uploaded to this site, how do I restore it? I tried flashing it with twrp and philztouch but it didn't work

This will work all on variants except the 64-bit version. I am currently working on getting 64-bit brought up.

Can help with 64-bit
I live in Australia and am about to purchase this phone which means that it has the Snapdragon 410 built in. From what I have seen, that is what dictates that it is 64-bit, correct? If that is the case I will be able to provide pulled recoveries and whatever else the developers require if they include some basic instructions (I know my way around ADB, android SDK, etc.)

Great work as usual @jmz you did a great job on this one. glad it was twrp i prefer it over CWM, do you have a device tree available? i'm planning on starting work on the cricket variant for CM and AOKP soon as they release the kernel source........ Cricket is always last to have source released lol

Yeah its on my github. But its not really useful for anything. The kernel is modded to boot recovery. attempting to use it as anything else will cause problems. The current A11_CHL is wrong. So I couldn't even compile a kernel for CDMA folks.
The kernel source for the CDMA variant should be out, i think its under WWE on the htcdev site. i contacted HTC about releasing the kernel source for the Cricket variant. They are going to escalate it to the dev department. Hoping we have source code soon.

Yes its posted but the kernel source itself is wrong. It is missing everything for CDMA. All A11_CHL kernel source will be the same. You don't have to wait for cricket specific.

Let me know if you need help with anything, most of my experience with android is smali and kernel related, although i have built custom roms from AOKP and CM
I was able to unlock my bootloader, and subsequently flash the recovery and root my phone! This is AWESOME! My cousin brought over his laptop for Thanksgiving. So, thank you, jmz, and CurbThePain, for constructing the recovery and leaving off instructions for everything.
It's a lil suckish that I'm unable to go full blown crazy and debloat everything, or install Viper4Android FX, but it is still leagues better to have this rooted. Thank you guys!

I didn't, I first flashed just the ROM and the phone would just keep hanging at the HTC screen and restart into recovery. Suggestions?
P.S.
Is looks like there is an Elemental for lollipop http://elementalx.org/devices/htc-one-m7/. I tried that on top of this ROM but it didn't help either. I am not really hung up on Elemental, it's just the kernel that worked for me in the past. At this point I just want this ROM to work.

Yes there are custom ROMs. Which version of the device do you have: 32 or 64-bit? And who is your carrier?

My carrier is virgin mobile and I would like to say it is 64 bit but I am not 100 percent sure

I suggest wiping in Advanced Wipe in TWRP, everything but the external sdcard, before you install every ROM
Go into the Downloads link and download cm-11-20141227-UNOFFICIAL-a11.zip, put it on your sdcard and use TWRP to install it
Download the boot.img also and you can flash that in TWRP
Look in the bottom right corner after you click on Install and change to Images... from Zips... to flash a .img
You can also use the fastboot method

To answer the question it is a 100% ODIN Full Stock Firmware. You will need to root and install recovery if you want root access.
I haven't installed this yet so I'm unsure of what root method works. I will post more info and I get it. OZOP 5.1.1 will follow soon as well!!
Can you make it flashable via TWRP, please?
As far as I know we do not have a root method yet. Chainfire was waiting until the official release to update auto root. Hopefully soon...
I'm at work and i'm trying to update this as painlessly and quickly as possibly. Can i simply use odin to flash this over my rooted s6? I'm not using a custom rom, just rooted with pingpongroot. I dont really care that i cant root again right away i just want to make sure i wont brick my phone by flashing this over stock rooted.

The autoroot zip is from three months ago. I'm pretty sure that blog post contains a link to the original S6 root. I would advise against attempting to use it. There's a high possibility it'll result in a bootloop, or possibly a bricked phone.

Chainfire will likely post something when he's tinkered around. It doesn't look that sketchy at first look but if I were you I'd wait for a more reliable source

Boost Mobile OTA Update 1.49.652.3-1

Hi I was just curious if anyone else with Boost Mobile has gotten this update yet and if so if there where anyway they could maybe make and upload a zip file for download that contains the backup files that can be extracted to the twrp folder and restored in recovery? Thanks

There's really no reason to install any update if you're using a rom that's not stock because it's just going to revert back to 1.46 since the roms were made at that time. I downloaded and installed the 1.48 update and as soon as I put my other rom and kernel back I went to check and sure enough it reverted back to the 1.46 so you're just gonna be wasting your time.
Thanks for replying. That's the thing though I am actually using the stock rom. At the moment I have the 1.48 update installed with @pattyboi:) latest kernal.

If you really want the update just flash your stock kernel and then flash your stock recovery and then lock your bootloader and then the update will go through.
That's what I would prefer to do if I were able to but I'm actually stuck without a computer atm. I was just curious to see if anyone else had reserved the update and installed it and could possibly throw me a zip file with twrp backup files like someone had done previously with 1.48.

I'm on a totally different rom than stock so unfortunately I can't do it but maybe someone else that reads this later will help you out with it.

I have to go to work now because it's past 6am so I may not be able to answer the private message question right away but I'll try to get to it as soon as I can.
Cool no worries get to it whenever you get to it.
