What variant is this for....?

In rom downloads section the rom is for "tbltexx", so i believe that its for N915 F[FY] snapdragon edition.

So this will work for sprint variant than....bc it's snapdragon....?

Nice to see something new in here

Can anyone confirm if its working? Specifically on N915G.

Hmm, that's strange. It's an AOSP ROM insn't it? So Xposed shouldn't be an issue?

Is there a particular method to flashing this rom? I just tried to flash it via TWRP and there was an error (after I erased dalvik, formatted, cleared cache etc.). Must it be done through odin?

Just have to flash via recovery.
Maybe its only for FY/F models
Is your edge F/FY?

Works with cmw

I have a 915G but salisburry44 said that it's working on G. Maybe I'll try doing it via CWM later. Cheers!

Alright, I finally got it working. So far, I'm loving the stock Android feel of this ROM. Compared to the stock Samsung rom, this is blazingly fast! Haven't tried Xposed yet although to be honest, even if it doesn't work, I'm going to keep it, the experience is simply far better than before. Edge screen of course isn't supported but my main use for the Edge screen was the shortcuts edge which I can get through 3rd party apps anyway (like this one for example).
I'll report back if I run into any problems but so far so good!

Marshmallow update ?

Link for rom takes you to ebay?

this Rom is super fast and running smooth on my 915G
it's no problem so far..
it also can run Viper and exposed too
thank you so much!

I will be maintaining Moto G for SlimRoms and SpaceKiller has been so kind to offer to manage the thread. Will be considered unofficial till after we hit stable which is very soon as we don't want to break anything with the stuff that we have to push to get all devices working. This is coming officially from us Slim Developers.

Testing on xt1031 (Boost Mobile)
Took a bit to install (be patient). Installed with CWM Advanced Edition. Complains of no sim card (xt1031 is cdma). So no sim needed. I currently do not have service, so I can't really test phone functions. But on stock 4.4.2 I did have bars indicating data service (3G). Currently do not in Slim. But, someone who actually has service will need to verify that data is working, among the other phone funtions (I do have bars for cell service). Proximity Sensor was working fine over Groove IP. GPS is working fine (seems to be a issue for some people). I tested with Sygic. FM Tuner working. Camera seems to work fine, Everything is great, but I have yet to dig deep. Nice job!
When I wake the screen, it freezes, then I have to sleep it and wake it again before it works. It's annoying but manageable.
It gets stuck on "Mount Data", did a complete Wipe before, my version is the XT1032

Moto G is supported by Slim, but they are working hard in the stable release and adding new phones means more time to spend fixing issues, so no more official devices will be added until SlimKat becomes stable (probably next week), for now it's unofficial.

Some hints:
1. Be sure you are on latest CWM or TWRP recovery!!!!!!
2. Not all gapps packages right now are nice working. You can try others but at least I know that the one linked here is working. If you have other gapps which are working you can link it here of course
3. Full wipe when coming from any 4.4 rom (as well format system manually please)

Reporting Bugs
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it. Otherwise your developer might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
1. Make a nandroid backup.
2. Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem you're having.
3a. When you're having a problem with a ROM function, flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
3b. When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
4. Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
5. Post the logcat in a txt file (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed description how we can reproduce the bug.
6. Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

F'ing awesome to see the slimrom for z2.

It was my favourite ROM on Samsung google nexus crespo how ever it is lagging and take 1 or some time two seconds to bring up settings or other apps. I will be trying next versions or official builds is any in future. Slim recent does not work. If I open 3 apps and then open YouTube. When I press recent it only bring minimised apps in slim recent not the app on screen(youtube). The app on screen stays there . see the screenshot

thank you for this ROM! it feels solid and is exactly as advertised. slim has always been my favorite.
double thank you for building a ROM that actually works and not releasing it before it was usable. we have some devs here that cant ever seem to get it right so they just move on to another ROM before fixing.

It is there in all roms. There are two solutions.
1) Turn on airplane mode and wait till sim qs tile changes to No service then turn off airplane mode.
2) There is an app named "LTE Discovery" on play store. It can resolve that issue.

You can, I don't personally recommend it.

I know it's irrelevant but could you fix this? The icon goes blank in slim launcher and nova launcher. It is also misaligned
Edited: the white icon has just been fixed, now it only needs to align the icon
Installed yesterday with Gapps pico, first impression - very fast, couldn't compare to the stock ROM, like day and night.

Tried the ROM, it's really stable and better than all ROMs I have tried for Mi 9, even Battery is performing like stock firmware, Good Work
No bug until now
I'm trying the new construction and it looks great; Is it possible to have the torch on the power button?
Is SELinux enforcing or permissive? VoLTE?

9.8.1 is recommended!
Is there a way to get Pixel style navbar icons instead of Xiaomi's?
Thanks for the development. I am using it since 1 day and I am quite satisfied. Everything works fine (including dt2w) and the ROM seems stable so far. Battery idle drain is around 1 to 1.5 % which is okay, but I will check during the next days to get a final conclusion. Again, thanks.
Do the screen refresh overclocking mods work on this?
Do you have more information about the OP gestures? Trying to get this to work.
I spent some time to flash COSP BUT i still rolled back PE+ with Los kernel base. Some reasons here:
1.Security is outdated.(It' still in Sep-2019)
2.Phone and message app are outdated as well and cannot be changed into black theme.
3.Cannot install Dolby sound mod.

Yes, battery is good. I was on 0,72% overnight.
@RuinWMD666 Thanks a lot for building this rom. Its clean, fast, easy to use. The clock with notifications in it is very nice, did not know that it existed.
Two minor things:
- Android Auto will cause trouble. Disable hardware overlay in developer options fixes this. This is a problem on every AOSP based ROM.
- Charging in my car is very, very slow. This is also a problem with all AOSP roms. On MIUI charging is faster. So, when i'm in my car it seems that voltage is turning down by AOSP rom.
Is there a fix for charging?
