Problem with screenprotector - Honor 7 Accessories

I have problem with screenprotector I have temperered glass 0,3 mm, up in the right corner it release. I have test with four pieces now after about four day it release, only in the right upper corner. So now I use plastic protections but I don't like the plastic protection.
Someone else that have this problem? My friend has an iPhone 6 and he has exactly the same problem in the right upper corner.

I used to have a similar problem and noticed that in my case the reason was moisture. I started to use zipper storage bags to protect my phone while exercising and at other times started to keep the phone in my pockets so that the screen was pointing outwards, not against my leg.

Same problem here, just avoid moisture on the screen

Moisture makes the screen protector to easily peel off.

They usually have 2 thickness but throughout my devices I never had a single problem fitting or with protection.
My only gripe is refitting, I always screw it up.

[Q] How to remove scratch on my captivate????

Yesterday I was out and about and had my phone in my pocket, when I pulled it out to check my email, I saw that I had a faint scratch on the screen. My question is how can I remove this scratch without destroying my touchscreen. Is there any solutions out there compatible with the super AMOLED screen???????

The screen is glass - so tricks that work on plastic screens won't work on glass. The AMOLED is below the glass. You need a polish made for glass - best bet is to talk to an optician or glass company.

A screen protector won't help if there is already a scratch. It may prevent more, but that first one will always be there...mocking him...lol

There is a link to a short article and a response in this link. You might be able to try the nail polish method.
Thanks a bunch for all your help. Will try all methods. Already did the banana thing but it didn't work. Thanks anyways.

????????
The scratch is in the glass. The touchscreen is bonded to the glass. There is no plastic to scratch or repair.

Oh I see. Well thanks for that solution. I guess I'll just order one of those SGP screen protectors and see if that hides it a little.
Wow that sucks. I carry my bare phone in my pocket with keys and crap but ALWAYS have a thick screen protector. My case is pretty scuffed up but the screen is protected. I hate cases but I hate screen scratches even more.
I even have a screen protector over the camera glass.

This. It pissed me off to no end to discover scratches on my plastic camera lens. Two years of iPhones with scratch resistant glass camera lenses and now another scratch-magnet plastic one. I feel like I've gone back in time to my Tilt all over again.
I had a small screen protector on the camera lens, but it was reducing the optical clarity quite significantly. Have you discovered a brand that retains the right clarity to have on the camera lens?

Actually, I have "fixed" scratches on iPhones in the past by putting a screen protector on it.
Did it remove or actually fix the scratch - no. Did it dramatically reduce the appearance of the scratch - yes.
The existence of the scratch bothers much less if I cannot see it.
I just bought a used Captivate to play and it has a couple scratches on the screen. I plan to go get a screen protector/skin and see if it helps.

Does removing the factory installed screen protector on front affect water-proofing?

I want to remove it but afraid that it will somehow affect the water proofing feature. Can anyone confirm if it will remain waterproofed it i do so?

That's not the right comparison. Right one is: "When I install tin film of plastic cover over the nuclear submarine, will it become more waterproof?"

Hahaha it's hard to find something good.
Got another one: When you remove the protector, do you think that the glass will suddenly start leaking? I mean it's glass... the molecules of the glass are closer together then water.
Or if you want a simple answer: NO IT WILL NOT AFFECT THE DEVICE WATERPROOF ABILITY AT ALL!

Actually this is not a very apt comparison at all.
When removing the protector you *MAY* break the water tight seal the glass has with the midframe, the anti-shatter sheet is glued down with a pretty strong adhesive, force on the wrong angle will break the seal.
Short answer: It can if removed incorrectly.
May I also just ask how the screens use in wet weather will be effected. With the film on I seem able to use the screen accurately even with many droplets on screen.

That's not a problem at all.
The only problem is that the movie will most likely stop playing since drops will be registered as touches and then the screen will do crazy things when you have a lot of drops on the screen.
I use MX Player, it has an option to lock all the controls and even that gets bypassed sometimes by the drops.

But with the film on, the drops don't seem to count as touches. I'm not too bothered tbh, it's rare I want to use it with water on screen. When I get my replacement I'll probably remove it's protector

Is this a serious question?
WHY would you desire to remove the shatter proof coating in the first place. I may imagine doing so may affect your warranty? I doubt Sony would have added that addition if it was not needed?
Glass is impervious to water ingress.
Kind regards.

it's there to evade some dumbasses complaining about cutting fingers and ****, if somehow you break the screen. it won't make your screen stronger, only safer afterwards... so it's use comes in, only when you already broke the glass, and decide to play with it's screen

Biggest mistake ever removing the factory installed protectors. Glad Sony replaced mine because the back and front glass look like crap once the factory sheets are removed and you lose the Sony logo. Put a screen protector over it, you won't be sorry.

i was glad to remove the protector. BECAUSE the Sony logo is gone and the clarity of the display is better. Also, the fingerprints are easier to remove! It is stated in the manual that removing the protector is "ok".
Remove. Please RTFM. Page 13 (EN):

For those with gaps on your One,

Do you think the speaker grill will pop off in the future? I just realized mine has quite a gap, you can slide a paper in.
But I don't want to resort to warranty since I have already been using it for a month plus, and got stuff working and all.
The grill I have in question is the bottom one.
I don't know how strong the glue supporting the bottom grill is.

the method of heating the grill and clamping it down (was a thread about it somewhere) is probably an option to try. i might try it on mine too since the gaps are getting big..

just wanna avoid the liquid from dripping to the speaker girll..^^

Wow how did you managed to get the glue inside the gap? I mean I know it's quite a gap, but I don't think it's THAT wide to be able to squueze glue in..
Are the gaps really that much of a concern? I have a bit of a gap on the top speaker grill, but I have a case on the phone too. I don't even notice it now. I'm more concerned about the durability of "Gorilla Glass." I've had 3 iPhones now and I've never scratched my screen. I've owned the HTC One for a month and I've got two scratches already...

For me it's more of a durability thing. I'm just afraid it will pop out from the glue losing it's strength in the future.

Well, if you're gonna use instant glue, you're prolly gonna end up sticking your fingers to the thing... so.
It might work if you have someone else hold it upside down and you're REAL careful.

Does your screen protector move around through the day?

In the mornings the sensor holes in the protector would fit great. But throughout the day it sort of slides a bit. By night it slightly covers the sensor. Please tell me I'm not crazy. I'm using the ultimate shield tempered glass.

Dust getting trapped?

Anyone else have a small but pretty noticeable line of dust collecting between the front glass and top edge of the phone?
Just appears as a white line that's visable from almost all angles, not sure if it's a fault, unusual amount of pocket lint or something else.
No pics as of yet, I'll take some later when home with the missus phone.
Thanks.
Same have some on the side between glass and frame.

It's definitely waterproof, I "accidentally" dropped it into my fresh water, no soap bath. I believe the dust is only going so far and stopping at the "seal"
