Hello guys,
When i bought this phone i was worried about dropping it while walking and texting or anything.
So i wanted to buy any case that has very strong grip.
That's why i bought them: http://imgur.com/a/Mqgun
I bought all of them on aliexpress if that would help. : )
Unfortunately all of them don't anything in common with good grip.
I want to give it one more try. Can you share any links to non-slippery case that you have?
If that also fails i am going back to using that leatherish looking case.
The Cruzerlite cases on Amazon aren't too bad, and they are cheap. My UAG isn't too slippery either.
The caseology wavelength has rubber on the bottom back. I find it's pretty good for grip. The black one looks sick in person as well.

I use the ringke slim case. It's pretty thin so it won't protect against major hard drops, but it is perfectly grippy in my opinion and hardly adds any bulk. Plus you can attach a lanyard to it. I attached one and it definitely helps keeping it in my hands, putting into my pocket, etc... Very pleased.
Speck is great and proven.

Except this is the LG G4 forum.....and Tech21 does not make any good cases for the LG G4. Only a folio wallet tyepe one, and the whimpy thin soon to get stretched out tactical one.
Too bad they do not make the Evo Shell for the G4.......best tpu on the market bar NONE!

well they have 3 then regular case tactical & wallet case best case hands down can't go with another case im about protection + it's slim adds no bulk

About to pick up a 7 today and want to get a good case for it. I'm looking for one that adds very little bulk, yet has a flip cover and that doubles as a stand. I've seen the Poetic Slimline and Speck Fitfolio so far and both seem pretty good but I just want to make sure I haven't missed any other options. Thanks!

I've heard a lot of talk about the poetic but I'm curious if the plastic back part gets all scratched up if it gets placed in bags or desks often. I'm also curious about other options.

I've tried about all of them except the speck and my favorite is the moko slim fit. They even have one in real leather now.

It's durable, feels good to carry around and has a lifetime warranty so if you wear it out they'll send you a new one.
The poetic slimline falls apart after about a week. It's good while it lasts.

If you're the type of person that prefers quality made things then stay away from the Poetic case! I regret buying the Poetic. I just barely received it today and can't stand this cheap quality case. After owning cases for iPads and Kindles, I don't even know how anyone can tolerate these poorly made cases.

Thats pretty cool looking. Looks alot like my Speck case.
My buddy has a poetic case and between my Speck and his the speck is a bit better. His is slightly thinner but the magnetically closing front isnt as good as the specks clasp. The clasp holds much better in a bag than the magnet and the speck has far superior viewing angles for the stand.

I don't understand the Poetic-hating. I love mine. Had it for a couple weeks now, and it is holding together fine. No fraying. This thing is as good as I could've asked it to be.

Pictures of the case on the phone would be nice. Use a mirror? I might call around my T-Mobile stores to see if they have this case. One store some cases but didn't really like them. I didn't even try the body glove case because I wanted some color and it looked bulky. Might try it though.

I have the black and grey body glove case and it doesn't add hardly any bulk dropped it a few times and not a scratch the cruzerlite case after a while gets a old rubber feeling idk bugged me they are just over priced tpu cased to me

The Body Glove case and the window cases are over priced as well. Wish they had a Neo Hybrid case for G2.

I have to say I like the way this seems to fit. Is it as snug as in the photos you guys have posted? Any issues with the lip of the case digging or lifting up screen protectors?

Its a shame CruizerLite has the absolute worst customer service anywhere ... Kinda like there one case. Last time I dealt with them, I used a "$10 discount code" they were giving away on Facebook, turned into an ordeal trying to use it. They didn't contact me back for weeks, then it was back and forth for a few weeks just to be blown off. The cases I got were ok (for my last phone), but in the end wasn't worth the hassle, not did it ever credit me for the discount code....

How's the grip on that case compared to the naked phone? It looks quite thin in the pictures which is what I'm looking for.

The grip is almost exactly like the naked phone. If I had to give it a scale from 1-10 (10 being naked phone grip) it would fall around 7-7.5.

To add to the thread, I'm using the Diztronic case now that I've received the modified version with proper mic holes.
Case is fairly bulky as expected but their matte plastic is some of the best in the business and the grip is top notch.
I'm hoping to find an ultra thin case with little to no lip, such as the official LG made Hardshell (or Shield) case for the Nexus 5.

This is a CaseMe Nexus 5X leather folio case. I got it for $10 on eBay. Thought I was going to get something lower quality for $10 but this case is actually solidly built, well stitched, and has a good feel to it.

The cases have polycarbonate backs/sides and top and a little bit of stiff tpu around the USB area and buttons. The tpu forms the mm or so that protects the screen if placed face down. It is a little difficult pushing the phone into the case but it can be done. The slider is easier to get to compared to my orzly bumper case.
Between the orzly and poetic I think I like the poetic better because it feels a little less bulky with what seems to be close to the same protection. . I think this is now my go to case.

It is easy to remove the case? I'm using spigen and while it looks good, I find it a bit hard to uncover from the phone.
I'm going to say that it is hard to remove... I might struggle a little while removing it.

Got some pictures here. Sorry it was taken with a Galaxy S4 and it is the clear / clear version. I would not try this with a pleson/orzly/yootech tempered glass. It would definitely pop it off.

Damn, this looks to be a lot better than my Fusion Bumper. I find it looks so beautiful.
I've just ordered the Clear/Black Case from Amazon UK. I ordered the Soft Gold phone and wanted a decent case,this one looks very promising. Thanks for the photos.

What tempered glass do you have on there?
Can anybody recommend a screen protector with this case?
I'm using the v2 orzly tg right now. It's really close to the edges. We'll see if it lifts it in the future.

Thank you so much for those pics (real life lighting conditions, much more convincing than the CGI pictures on amazon!), they gave me the nudge I needed to go with the clear/black, really good looking
(in this thread, it is stated that OP's official tempered *curved*(!) glass works well with the Poetic Affinity case.)
