[PROJECT] Manila3 Language Packs (discontinued)

Hey ROM Cookers. Simple Question. I would discontinue this project cause I think the new roms are almost translated but one question...
Did you use my translations???
If this was right I will continue my work on the translations.
For all users who want the new roms with new manila and want to have their own language...
First thing what this cabs will do is to set a regvalue to your specific language. If aviable for your language some manila files will be modified.
Dont forget to set your regional settings to your language.
The translation is done by HTC and can have some errors cause Manila 3 is the newest build.
I will try to fix all errors in different languages but I need you help in translating cause I only speak german and a good broken english
Next I will post all things you need to translate manila3 to your specific language.
The base source for the manila files was the source from Duttys HD V2.4 Rom. That is the reason why the names are "Duttys Rom HD ... Manila.cab"
New Manila files coming...​
Little info about the new files:
It seems that HTC is ongoing with the translation of the files. Only some of them must be translated.
The "old" language packs are below.
And the new manila files too...

If I find the countrycode for arabic I will make a cab for arabic.

The arabic Manila is under "en-us" - I'm not sure why but I saw that with my own eyes

This is great, now I can finaly update to the latest Duty rom.

Are these cabs functional with other ROM´s? Im on L26_THDV8.0_WWE Ultimate.

Also use L26_THDV8.0_WWE Ultimate... this cabs here works perfect on that rom

so this is only for the language of manila, and not the language of T9 for the keyboard? Any idea when that will be available?

Interesting question. Does this cab file suffice for updting manila on any (stock) rom?

Yes. Tomorrow the source files are aviable. I must edit the names for you and insert the missing translations.

Hey all, u all know me from the Gen.Y D2/D2X roms, well i'm giving u guys the opportunity to vote on one additional language that will be added in the next release (D2 R5.1, D2X R2)
voting will end 31/12/'09, and the new language will appear in a rom release next year

because either not all resources are available, or they require signifcant changes to the kitchen (and take more time), that's why chinese/russian/greek are not included in the poll

but u can just add chinese into regional settings and make it support chinese displaying
all most everyone who use diamond know english so the whole system's english is not a problem , the main point's it can display our own language.
that means u don't need to change the mui or something else .
could u plz do it 4 us ?

Hello i need help to translate statusbar and rom settings to MindCr Rom. Thank You.
If yo want to translate rom settings and statusbar to your language. Post it here to reserve your language and I send to you the files to translate.
You only need Notepad++ to edit the xml files. The language must be supported by rom.
Remember use shorts synonyms in quickpanel values, like Torch.
NOTE: USE UTF-8 CODIFICATION
Languages Status:
English: Ok (Lidroid)
Spanish: Ok (MindCr)
Dutch: Reserved (RubenStauttener)
Estonian: Reserved (crycx)
German: Reserved (RubenStauttener)
Polish: Ok(Alucard1989pl) included in v2.3
Italian: Ok (Speedyspro) included in v2.3
Portuguese: Reserved (ZakooZ)

I have a problem with codification to compile it.
Please reopen the files with notepad++ go to codification and select UTF-8, yo can see some characters change please correct it and save it again.

I have a olympic edition note 8 which not support My language Swedish can i fix this somehow?

Found it but its weird, its now a mix between English and Swedish

Ok, found it but its weird, things are mixed between Swedish and English.

That is odd, my native langage is spanish, but as I only use english in all type of devices, I never had had this issue, sorry
