[Q] Problems with recognizing

Please help me. I wanted to put cynogen mode on my LG 4X, and something went wrong. Now when I start the phone shows me the logo of LG and writes under, security error Morning Call is empty ... and now when I try to connect the phone to a computer , my computer is not show me LG like LG P880, than as a device unreconized device .. does anyone know how to fix my LG?

Check if you have the latest drivers, connect the phone in recovery (vol- and connect to PC), flash with LGFlash Tool.

I cant flash my LG with LG Flash because tihs program dont reconized my phone.. "Phone is not found"

There is no other way...
Did you follow the tutorial? Did you remained calm and gave time for windows recognise your device?
Did you uninstall and re-install the drivers? You're able to reboot in SW mode (vol- pressed while connecting to PC)?

TNQ...I fix my LG...and know work perfect I put 20A kdz. 4.1.2. and phone work perfect

I have the same problem. I think the stupid thing I did was to install V20a without rooting the phone. Now I cant root it. IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.ap would not run and when I try to recover either with LGflashboot or LG firmware recovery I get the same error message "morning call is empty" (very strange error message). I can go back to v20a but since I am not completely happy with it I would like to resolve it. Is there any chance to fix it? I am not very confident to format bootload or installing custom ROM.

You cannot root the phone on V20a using IS11LG_SystemBackupTest.signed.apk, since that file is used for versions V10x. Check out this link for rooting V20a: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2180688

Uninstall all drivers and folders like "LG United Mobile Driver" and "LG USB Modem Driver".
Re-install the drivers:

Take out the battery, press "Power Button" (just to discharge all phone components), put the battery back on the phone.
Press "Vol-" and connect to PC. Wait while windows detect the device and search in windows update for possible new drivers.
Windows won't find a thing but will take some time while trying...
After that you should be OK.

Just did similar to my phone and followed the advice in this thread - now sorted. Thanks guys you rock!

if u epic fail to manually force the drivers in just install android jdk open it and update it.

I had the same problem, after running several recovery procedures and kdz files, I finally was able to restore the phone to it's original ICS rom.
Download the files in the description and follow up the video.

hi!
few days ago my friend gave me his old samsung galaxy s plus wich has no system files od internal sdcard files but i do have access to twrp 2.2.1 recovery so now im trying to restore it i tryed with odin mode but no luck there cus my computer says it is not working proparly so odin dosent even recodnize it. than i tryed using adb to flush image but it just stuck on waiting for device so no point of using adb, i alsow tryed using trwp to flush m5d file on to it but becaus it has no sd card there is no restore folder.
so im asking u the profesionals if u have any idea how to fix it, everthing i tryed i writen in the post :fingers-crossed:

I'm not professional, far from it actually but here's what I did when I had similiar problem with my own S Plus. I managed to copy new rom file to phone with adb, it was the only solution I found out. I rebooted phone to TWRP and I used command adb push romfile.zip /sdcard/ and managed to get the rom file to phone for installation, notice that the slashes on the path matter, I was missing the last slash and the command failed.
What version of adb are you using? Mine was 1.0.31
C:\adb>adb version
Android Debug Bridge version 1.0.31
I also tried at least three different set of drivers until I got the connection working. I guess these should be ok.. downloadcenter [DOT] samsung [DOT]com [SLASH] content [SLASH] SW [SLASH] 201401 [SLASH] 20140121132354500 [SLASH] SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.33.0.exe

You have to install Samsung mobile USB driver to be able to use Odin or ADB.

stuck in bootloop

hi everyone..
i have problem in Xperia Z which is stuck in boot loop
1st thing is im not able to run the device in flash mode thing is the green led blinks n goes off...
2nd thing is im running windows 10 and im unable to install drivers to run flashtool to flash stock rom via fastboot.
kindly help me with this issue...

Your drivers are not installed properly. In Windows 10 goto the advanced settings and disable the signature verification first. After that install the driver for xperia z. It will work.

Did you disable driver signature enforcement before installing the drivers?

There are plenty of threads about bootloop.
Also, this should be in Q&A section.
Anyway, make sure to install correct drivers. Ur flashmode is probably just fine.
Mine blinks and goes off also, but flashmode works.

Drivers are installed and driver signature has been disabled.. but finding error while flashing
wen i remove battery and connect Usb cable den the device shows tat it has connected in flash mode nor in fastboot mode... one of the IC is been missing or removed i dont know ill send the Pic after reaching home... i couldn't post the Screen Shot... ill do it today by night....
Pic has been attached below and can see the pointed area where the IC is missing or is it not available... plz let me know..

I tried to flash a QFIl Rom on my Z2 Pro, because its bricked... I can enter EDL Mode (Port 908) but it always says "cannot read hellopackage" in Miflash and "Sahara: Fail" in QFIL...
I tried 4 hours now, i can cry...
Whats the problem here? Do i need another ROM?

In QFIL you have to make sure to use short path names with no spaces. Otherwise you get that Sahara error.

That doesnt help... Its always the same error..

Perhaps you'll find more information on ZUKFans. I can feel your pain, I bricked my ZUK Pro twice, last time it was hard-bricked. I was about to throw it into the trash (literally) but finally managed to revive it and flash a ROM via QFIL.
Which ROM are you trying to flash and where did you download it? Is it the right version for QFIL? Because there are different versions for flashing via SDFuse method.

I downloaded the tool and the ROM from androidfilehost.com! I searched for zuk z2 pro and took it from "No|Name"! (Sorry, i cannot post the link directly but its easy to find)
Both from the same...
Maybe you have a download for me which you are prefering???
I tried another QFIL Rom but it didnt work too... I made a break for two hours now, otherwise i will throw my device in the fire... think i tried it hundred of times... Maybe i forgot something, but im sure that i've done everything needed...
- device is in edl mode (tried with deepflash cable and normal usb)
-qfil installed and runed (normal and a admin)
-tried two different qfil roms
I work with win10...

Try with another PC with Windows 7. Maybe this will save you.

If your phone is bricked make sure you flash 1.9 which basically resets everything. That worked for me. And make sure if on Win10 to turn off driver verification or whatever it is called.

Dont worry. If QFIL detects your phone as a qualcomm device its ok. Try the roms below. Make sure that you unzip the files in a c:/folder.

Try updating the firmware to 1.9 and make sure the folder that you extract the files to is renamed to a shorter name like a single alphabet. Also make sure your drive isnt bitlocked, Make sure you right click on all the extracted files and select properties and uncheck readonly . Use a different USB port and the stock cable. Run the qfil program as an administrator. Sorry if you have already tried these steps, Just that I had faced the issue and had to go through the above mentioned steps.

sorry to ask for the second time , but suddenly the phone began to rebooting himself again and again and when im entering the twrp and try to reboot system im getting a list with a few red raws writing something about error in system .
i dont know how to stop it and i cant do anything with my phone .

Try to copy the ROM from the computer to USB and USB to ur phone

Hi,
i always use an USB-Stick for the ROM's to flash. Just to be sure i can see an zip to flash under every circumstances. (Except those phones which need to be flashed over USB - but the ROM is visible on the PC)
