MightyText app questions, how is this working? - Shield Tablet Themes and Apps

Maybe more of a hardware question than an app question, but it happens with this particular app. I needed a texting app for my stock K1 running LP 5.1.1
I decided upon MightyText as I didn't want another phone number as some of the other apps provide. MightyText syncs my phone and the K1 within seconds. If I get a text to the phone, I get a notification on the tab within a second or two. Same happens if I send a text from the tablet, I get a notification on the phone again within a second or two. I realize that the phone is using it's cellular radio to send the text. Phone is a rooted LG Optimus G Pro running KK.
Here's where it gets strange! If I turn off WiFi and BT on the phone, when I write a text on the tablet and hit send, my phone receives and sends the text. WiFi and BT are still off. I looked to see if the app was somehow turning the radios on, on the phone, but it looks like they are staying off (unless they are coming on for a fraction of a second). I'm trying to figure out how the tablet is communicating with the phone if the radios are turned off. Also, the app has a phone icon. if I hit the phone icon on the tablet app, the phone makes a call to whoever I happened to be texting. I cannot talk through the tablet (I don't think), but the call does go through. I'm unsure what the functionality of this item is...why would I want the tablet to initiate a phone call when I cannot talk through the tablet?

Phone radio you mean phone, internet (3G/4G) here?
Mighty text working through network/internet. I will take simple explanation like this. SMS -> your phone -> SMS send to mighty text service -> mighty text service passes it to your table. Similar your tablet sends the text -> text go to mighty text service -> Mightytext service passes it to your device AND to the receiver on your behalf.
MightyText function like a bridge to connect your phone and other device and running through the internet.
Once your device connects with MightyText service, MightyText will become a behalf assistant to receiving and send your message.
Thats mean your sensitive information will be readable by a 3rd person (or group person who know?)

[Q] Google Voice Troubles.

I am setting up both my and my wife''s phone on Google voice. This is what I am running into:
setup
Both phones set to use Google Voice for calling and voice mail
Both phones do have the Google Voice number in the address book for each other.
The Issues
The scenario for these is letting it go to voice mail.
Sometimes on the calling phone, I do not hear a ring from the other phone, and nothing from the answering voice mail either. If I hold on for a bit listening, finally hang up, then the phone called will get a blank voice mail. The phone I am calling from continues to say 'Dialing' until I hang up. This seems to be happening on only one of the phones. (May find otherwise with more testing).
On the phone being called, when I try to use the slide up to have it send a message when rejecting a call, (for example "Sorry, will call you back",) the message is never received on the other end. Of course I would expect that message to go to Google Voice. Is that set to use SMS only? (I do not have SMS service). This happens no matter which phone is calling the other. Never is the message received. I have not tested it with a phone calling that in fact has SMS capability.
Any thoughts?

[Q] How can I disable "after call summary" ?

These days I’m on vacation using a pre-paid connection. I actaved a data connection on it and started getting these usage summary notifications every few seconds (e.g: Data charge is xx.xx, your available balance is yy.yy, valid until dd/mm/yy). Its really annoying because if I keep the phone locked for like an hour I am presented with 50 odd such messages that I have to press OK before being able to use the phone . When I called the technical support, I was told that it is a phone feature usually called “After call summary” or “call summary”, that can be turned off from the phone itself. Since they don’t carry any android devices he couldn’t help me where to find it. I looked around myself, but couldn’t find anything . Can someone help me with this ? Thanks.
Guess no one knows about this feature or how to disable it?
some one help me with this too..
Hi. I don't think it's a device feature. And if it's a "call summary" then it shouldn't inform about data plan. Try searching for a disabling code on your operator's website.
I have a "call summary" enabled - it pops up after a call, and I can disable/enable it only with a USSD code defined by operator.
Remove Call Summary Screen on Verizon Galaxy 8
I was getting an annoying call summary screen on my Galaxy 8s. It appeared to have the green android messaging icon in the call summary and splash screen. I use the Verizon massaging app. I therefore disabled the android messaging app and the issue disappeared. If you have another android, see if you can replace the android messaging app prior to disabling it.

Make Calls as Watch? No SIM?

So, how do I get the phone to make I call when I activate OK Google and say, Call "Jim" etc.
Presently, as I am not using the SIM and disabled the cellular network it will tell me I need to turn off airplane mode. I though I had it figured out when I set it to forward calls to my phone, however I think that is intended for when both have a SIM. It seems like a massive oversight if this is not possible, given the fact that the Style does not have the HR monitor and Fit. The two reasons, other than the spinning selector, I went with this model over the style.
I have cellular turned off, and if I say "ring Fred", it immediately calls Fred through my tethered smartphone.
If there are multiple phone numbers attached to a contact, it then does not dial straightaway, but asks which number to dial first.
Whether I use the phrase "ring" or "call" it does not matter, works with both phrases.
I know this is an old thread but did you figure out how to initiate a phone call on the tethered phone without the sound coming through the watch?...I want to say"ok Google call Bill" and have my phone call Bill and not hear it through my watch. If I disable call audio on my phone then the watch says check blutooth connection...this seems rediculous that Mt Sony SW3 can easily intiate my phone to call any contact through ok Google but my lg watch sport wants to blare my conversation from my wrist.
Is the LG call app installed from the PS

Un-tethered and on LTE, impressed today!

Although i have the W281 with SIM card, normally its tethered via bluetooth to my smartphone, so its rare I use the watch completely standalone.
Today we went out for the day, and I left my smartphone at home by mistake, no problem I though, I've turn on the mobile connectivity on my watch!
I was totally surprised that although my smartphone was 100 miles away at home, I continued to receive all my notifications as usual.
Also, through the messages app, not only was I receiving sms txt messages from my smartphone, I could reply to the txt messages using my smartphone number, not the sim card number in my watch (although this is an option too)....remember this is in the UK, not the US when using AT&T number sharing.
What it was doing, is using the 'cloud sync', my watch connected to the cloud via mobile data, and my phone connected to the cloud left at home.
I also received whatsapp messages, but unfortunately, there is no option to reply when on mobile data, unlike when tethered by bluetooth. However I have discovered that Hangouts works when just on mobile data, didn't think was the case that long a go and thought it needed to be connected via bluetooth. Not so it seems now.
Now get this one, I have the 'camera' app on my watch, so you can remotely get an image from either the front or rear camera from the smartphone, and remotely take a picture. I could not believe that this still works when on mobile data, and my phone 100 miles away on its charging dock at home, yes, I got a live video feed from my phone at home on the face of my watch, amazing!

Wow!
That sounds like a major positive!
I don't usually leave my phone behind, but to be honest I leave LTE on anyway.
I'm intrigued by the cloud sync. Could you explain that please??
On your Android phone, open the Android Wear App.
Touch the Settings icon.
Touch Privacy & personal data > Cloud sync.
Move the switch to the On position.
I think its on by default.
It simply by name, allows connection between watch and phone by the internet when not connected directly by bluetooth.
:good:

Connection and voice mail issues

Hi everyone. I am having issues since day one with my Samsung S10. I am a T-mobile user if that matters. My first problem, I currently have a desktop with Windows 10 Pro and the latest build. However, since I got the phone, whenever I connect the phone to the computer via USB, it does not stay connected for more than a min. It will keep on disconnecting and automatically connecting. Many instances it will do it over and over, dozens of times until it finally connects but it wont last for more than 2 mins and start all over. A very frustrating issue because it makes file transfer nearly impossible.
I have so far unistalled all drivers, used 4 different cables to include original and problem still persists.
My second issue is with voice messages. Whenever I received a voice message, instead of going to my visual voice message app, it will show with the green phone icon in my notification, forcing me to call my voice mail. Rarely do new voice messages go to my visual voice mail app, they do, but rare. My wife also has a S10 and she has the same problem with the voice mail.
hopefully someone has some help to provide me.
Thanks in advance.

I will start from the second issue (the voicemail). I see that too and I am with T-Mobile as well. I do have VVM app installed, but see the normal voice mail icon in the notification bar as well as VVM icon. I don't really like double notification, but I am thinking it is possible to disable the phone app's notification for only the voice mail. Haven't tried it though...
As far as phone getting disconnected...I have seen this, but not with my S10e. I have another android device and it did happen to it, couple of times. When device was off, that is when I mainly seen disconnect/reconnect thing.
1) Do you have Samsung Switch app installed on your Win 10 PC? If you do, then try uninstalling it. If you don't have it, install it. Could be driver conflict too
2) Try different USB ports on your PC
3) See if you have USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports(try them all)
4) When you connect your phone to the PC, pull down notification shade on your phone and see if you can choose different USB options, that might help too
