SNAPit front camera issue - K3 Note Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys!
I use a Lenovo K3 Note that I bought just a few days ago.
When I try to record a video with the front camera it looks really small and with a poor resolution, the size is around 1/3 of the screen. It happens only with the video, pictures are ok.
I am using the app version 4.1, and the settings for the video are 16:9 and 720p (but I tried others and they also didn't work).
I deleted the cache and the data of the app, but nothing worked.
Could anybody help me?

Camera broken at high resolutions...

Okay, this is really weird. I just noticed this happening. My phone camera will take pictures in Small (S) and Medium (M) settings on the camera, but for High (H), 1 megapixel (1MP), 2 megapixel (2MP), and 3 megapixel (3MP) it takes partial pics. I attached a sample of the pictures it spits out. I have an AT&T Tilt with one of Dutty's ROMs. Forget which. The ROM is definitely not the problem as I've had it and have been using it successfully and taking tons of pictures with it for over a month now. The camera problem appeared yesterday. The only change that I've made to the phone is adding a few DIVXs to the memory card as I've purchased CorePlayer with the qtv driver. Anyone else experience the same? Please let me know. I know our cameras suck, but I must fix this. I am extremely good looking and insist on taking pictures of myself at odd angles for my social networking webstite logings.. Okay, kidding about the last part, but please!! I like the half-assed camera even if it is half-assed.
EDIT: Deleted the divxs, still same problem. Anyone? Please...
it happens only with the high ress pics?
it should be your memory, try taking a photo and saving it to the main memory
Try hard-resetting...

[Q] Camera Issue (not purple tint)

Recently my m7s camera has been buggy. When taking a picture with the front or back facing camera the viewfinder doesn't update, it shows the first image from when the camera app was opened or when the cameras are switched. Videos work but there is a slight moment of a frozen image at the beginning of the video, another mention is before a video it says anther app is using the camera and is being terminated now, I don't know if this means I have a virus or if it is just a bug. I'm not rooted.
Any support would be appreciated.
When I use the front facing count down it takes a picture like normal I'm real time but the viewfinder doesn'tuupdate, it happens in every app that uses the camera so I'm not sure if it is hardware or software that's the problem.

erase cache/dalvik cache and see if the problem persist, if yes try a factory reset. If the issue still there after a factory reset its probably an hardware problem.

[Q] EK-GC100 Autofocus only with zoom

Hello! I had Galaxy Camera EK-GC100 laying around with broken camera lens (it was hit a little bit and the zoom didn't work at all and all I was getting was Camera Error when launching the app) so I decided to fix it. Bought camera lens replaced mine (I used old/mine color thingy that goes on top of the lens), put everything together and now it doesn't catch focus
HECK! I bought second new lens! And the problem didn't fix!
When I'm not using any zoom the image is extremely blurry but the moment I zoom at least 5x it becomes crystal clear!
What have I done wrong? Is there any camera calibration to do? I tried Factory Reset on the device already and using the expert doesn't work either. Here's some examples of how it looks:
Same here. Has anyone solved this problem?

Lost 1080p 60fps recording, "server error"

keep in mind it was doing this before i updated to pie and its still doing it.
my phone is sprint snapdragon, so i am aware of no 4k 60fps.. but when i first got the phone i was able to record 1080p 60fps, and at some point through the years i mustve lost this feature due to a firmware/hardware bug.
in settings if i choose 1080p 60fps, the phone locks up, or give me a server error. Ive tried various methods to fix this, cache, reset, cam reset, etc etc.. no fix in sight.
anyone experience this? Like every other samsung phone ive owned, i take very good care of but over time a feature will be permanently bugged and nonfixable forcing me to wanna upgrade.. i hate to say it but i think this is the case again.
No problem with video capture in 16:9 FHD (60 fps) 1920x1080, using Samsung Camera app vs 9.0.00.63. Phone is N950U1 on Pie beta #3.
Cannot specific select 1080p 60fps as mode in Samsung camera app...

same, except official pie, doing the same thing. camera hangs.
Have you tried reflashing it using Odin or is it not possible to do yourself on that model?
i did a reflash with odin with the previous oreo, still wasnt fixed. assuming now its a hardware issue, kinda rediculous.

Camera does not change while zooming (video recording)

Hi all.
So when I first bought the phone, when I was recording and zooming in the cameras changed to the better quality one x10 zoom. However since few months it does not change at all, stays the same. I was thinking with emui 10 it will get fixed but it didn't.
How can fix this issue?

For anyone having similar issue i found solution. Empty your camera app cache, empty data and force stop the app then reopen (i think cache is the main problem) but now it all works!
Glad you got it sorted.
And thanks for posting your solution - too often people can't be bothered.
