Love? Ha! LG *hates* its customers and has basically said 'screw off' to all of us who shelled out $300 for their 'flagship' phone less than two years ago.

I brought mine this month, well last month and it arrived this month here in New Zealand. I just wanted a unique follow up to my unique amazon fire phone that I sold to my brother cause he dropped n smashed his nexus 5 (again) so I sold him the fire phone and got me the g flex. D950 the 4g works here too (yay!!)
I love it not having to charge the phone every day but half the time I do just out of habit from previous phones lol
The only complaint I can think of at this stage is no OIS.

With enough testers and persons to help we can get a build of Android 6.0 ready. I'm a tester just waiting for the devs. The LS995 and other variants have root and recoveries for 4.4.2. Just no initiative. I would've done it already but, i have little knowledge in ROM and recovery building.

My first Non-HTC Phone

So my Nexus 5 will be here in a few days! I just realized that this will be the first Android phone I have ever owned that was not made by HTC! I've owned an Android from ever since the very first HTC G1 was released. I must had owned at least 6-8 different Android phones throughout the years and every single one of them was manufactured by HTC, including of course the HTC One that I sold to buy the Nexus 5.

if speakers and screen quality are not a big deal, you're gonna love the phone, its simply amazing.

At this point, it's a pretty gutsy assumption that you'll ever actually get your hands on the N5 lol

LOL well mine has already shipped, been tracking it on UPS website and it should be here Monday or Tuesday!
I placed my order for the Black 32GB model at 1:19am MDT on Nov 1st and it finally shipped out yesterday.

Yeah I figured the speaker quality wouldn't hold a candle to the HTC One... As for the screen, I've seen mixed reviews. Alot of people say its sharp clear and bright, but a little bit washed out (which I can deal with).

You were one of the people I was keeping an eye on since I also ordered a black 32 GB device and I ordered right at 12 hours after you. I won't hold my breath but maybe it will be my turn soon...
Glad you're getting your phone, but please use an existing shipping/ordering thread for this type of discussion. This board is already cluttered enough.

Have 3 invites for OnePlus if anyone wants to switch

64GB version
LOL
Completely lost interest in that phone
I had one, it's most definitely not all it was promised to be. I sold mine after 2 days.

Lol I did the opposite- I bought an N5 with the money I got from selling the OPO (I made $100 on the sale) and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. It's the second N5 I've owned, sold my first one when I bought the original Moto X. The OPO is not a bad phone by any means, it just wasn't the amazing flagship killer I was expecting. I found the build quality to be lacking, there were way too many bugs in the software when I had it, and I just didn't like the design in general. Not to mention that OnePlus is a horrible company, and I refuse to support a company that treats its customers the way they do.
Can you give me one please.... Need to buy one for my sis

too late to refuse to support the company if you already bought the phone from them...
I dont have any bugs, just a minor issue with "profiles" which I haven't even tried to troubleshoot. Built quality surpassed my expectations too. Both N5 and OPO are decent phones though. OPO has lots of positives over N5, I am just wondering if they will keep the promise and update it to L in time.

It is too late I suppose lol. And from what I've read, most of the bugs I experienced have been fixed. I had mine back in July so there have been quite a few updates since then. Don't get me wrong, it's a good phone, it just wasn't for me. If you're happy with it, that's all that matters.

Nexus 6 available again from Motorola.com | New revision or updated somehow?

Hi guys,
now the Nexus 6 is available again on Motorola.com after a long time i wonder, if the devices of this batch maybe have a new hardware revision. I am thinking about new batteries, new adhesive for the backplate etc. as examples.
Would be interesting to know if Motorola has reacted on the production/quality problems some users had with their device...
The long delay between the availability of the phone makes me think that. It was out of stock for more than one month at Motorola´s web store. One month for tweaking some things, maybe..??
Doubt it.
wasnt out of stock in tbe US that long, has been available through Motorola for some time now.
Not in Europe..

MediaMarkt Netherlands had and has plenty, both 32 and 64GB in Blue and Grey.
Sorry, I think you misunderstood me. The phone was available, but not from Motorola.

Everytime I checked the 64gb nexus 6 was not available on Motorola website for a very long time - several weeks.
I finally ordered one and it is now sitting at fedex waiting on the snow to clear out and I have to sit here waiting on it.
Mine is one of the new ones that will make my breakfast every morning and do my daily exercises for me. You folks that bought the previous version are out of luck! Although I am sitting here wondering if I should have opted for the mate 7, which makes breakfast & lunch.

Options to exchange LGG4 after 14 days?

So, I upgraded to a Sprint LGG4 on Aug 1st, 2015...1.5 months ago. I'm starting to not like the phone due to spit screen issues and tons of bad press about the issues on the internet. I really wish I would have picked the Galaxy Note 5! Now it looks like my options to exchange are limited to "Pay Big Bucks!" and get a Note 5! I don't want to have to sell the farm to exchange. I am stuck in a 2 year lease agreement with Sprint. So what do you guys think? Try the G4 replacement process with my Sprint TEP or pay the piper and upgrade to Note 5?
You are stuck in the lease right? You can't even pay off the lease from what understand. Why not just use your TEP, that's why you have it, right?
sadly, you cant swap a device with sprint based on "bad press".
if your device is exhibiting the known issue bugs, then sure, you can get swapped into another G4.

Yes, my issues have now become known issues with Sprint and LG so I am now waiting on my replacement G4.

I am getting a replacement as mentioned above...I'm just not sure that I can love this phone after these issues! Hopefully the replacement will work 100% better and I can love it again!

cool. most of the issues seem to be hardware based. hopefully that is something LG will fix in future builds of device. that being said, if its not selling a lot, they may just play the wait and see if it fails game.
i am disappointed in the lack of support for both HTC and LG in the sprint forums, but then again, sprint hasn't been stellar with their service for a while now and i think the forums are showing that. even the once crazy samsung forums seem to be a bit vacant.

Yeah, Sprint is "low over head" but they hold their own. Service is decent in my area and I don't have to mortgage my first born for a good plan! I just wish all carriers would loosen the reigns a little and let these powerful phones 'breathe!' Also, 14 days isn't long enough to see if a phone is right for me...and now they don't care if I am unhappy because they have me trapped for 23 more months! LOL! When companies finally realize that treating a customer like a king is better business, this will be a great world!

People are WAY too caught up with being LOCKED in for 24 months.
I just swapped M9 to G4. It will cost me about $100.00-$150.00 to switch. Buy on Ebay and Sell on Ebay (or swappa).
If you want to change carriers. Many will pay early termination.
The only thing you are losing is the discount you got on the phone. Which you can resell.
You could say switch to a T-Mobile S6 probably for $99.00, T-Mobile pays termination and sell your G4 for $350.00. You'd be ahead of the game.
So nobody is handcuffed to anything.
I do agree 14 days is too short. I think if you buy through Amazon you might get 30 days.
I did indeed! Seemed like a good idea at the time! I wanted a low monthly price...they offered loyalty discount so I pay like $8 per month compared to the $30 per month for the Note 5...I don't really need an old phone after 2 years so returning the phone after 2 years was no problem either. I'm ok with the lease, just wish it was a little more flexible!

Band 12 On T-Mobile

Anyone confirmed band 12 actually works on the Axon with T-Mobile? I understand it is blocked currently for the Motorola X Style and the Nexus 5X/6P due to VOLTE concerns.
I asked ZTE on twitter if they support VoLTE and they said yes, but didn't specify which carriers.
Yes, VOLTE is supported on T-Mobile. At least in the Dallas area. I'm using it's sweetness right now.
I forgot to mention on my first comment, ZTE also confirmed on my twitter that they would push out android M sooner than most flagships. i guess ZTE is going all in with this device.

I don't really have this phone actually. I have LG G4 but had to send it out for repair 3 times already (owned for 2 months) and they have never repaired what i've described to them. just simple rattling ear piece and request to tighten the speaker in to the place but i guess that is too difficult for them. each time i send out it takes 2 weeks for me to get it back. so I actually didn't have this phone longer than owning it since the day i bought it. finally got tired of LG repair center and called t-mobile claimed for lemon policy. T-mobile honored to replace my phone. when i receive it, i won't even open it, i'll just go ahead and sell it with all goodies i got it for promotion. 3 batteries, 2 back covers (both leathers, brown and maroon), 128gb micro SD card, zero-lemon quick charger, 2 phone cases. i think $550 should sell it quick. look out for LG G4 in swappa under t-mobile section. most likely to be posted early October.
when sold, i'll buy axon pro... or moto x pure. most likely axon pro. i've heard audio quality is superb... and 2 years warranty.

Well that's not saying much. With Samsung devices the wait seems almost never ending.
If we get Android M within 2 months, ZTE will have a customer for life.
Saying that, I now have an excuse to turn my Nexus 5 on. Yay.
